House beautifully decorated. Nice location to the slopes. Upstairs bedrooms very small, but house does fit a large group.

Great ski house for family gatherings. The entry boot/mud room was perfect with cubbies and boot storage, plenty of waterhog rugs that kept the snow and dirt in place. The entry level living area provided a great spot for family movies and games. Kitchen had all we needed. I had fun making some snowshoe trails on the hillside surrounding the house- many boulders and streams.

Nice property close to the mountain

We stayed at this property as a group of family and friends- 6 adults, 5 kids. The house was comfortable for a group our size, well stocked, and had a convenient location to Killington ski and tubing amenities. Would stay again!

Incredible spot!

I had my bachelorette party here and had the best time with my friends in this house. The house is so cozy, but spacious at the same time. Best for cars that are good in the snow on hills. Highly recommend for a group of friends or family, and would totally rent here again!

Beautiful Snowy Weekend!

Beautiful property! The lovely home is clean and convenient to skiing/ restaurants/ shopping.Very quiet neighborhood and so relaxing. The hot tub was well maintained and easily assessable. The property actually has 6 rather than 5 bedrooms. Most bathrooms are very small. I would definitely consider renting it again.

Great property for large family

The house was perfect for our family (my dad, siblings and their families (4 kids)). We had plenty of room and could comfortably all hang out together when we weren't skiing. The location is great because its tucked away at the end of the road so it doesn't feel like you're on top of your neighbors, but still extremly close to the mountain (Killington). Would definitely come back.

The Perfect Mountain Home

The house is beautiful, very open and spacious! All the beds were very comfortable with nice soft sheets. Bathrooms on every floor made it convenient for everyone staying. The family room and kitchen had plenty of seating and we had all the amenities of a home that we needed. The lot is nice and private with plenty of parking and quick access to Killington Mountain. The hot tub is a must use especially when its snowing!

Kill(er)ington House

Sweet spot.. Got a ton of snow which was awesome and the hottub was perfect. Was really easy coordinating with the rental property team - they were super friendly and seemed to be familiar w the property which was nice.. They even double checked the hottub to confirm she would be running - awesome.. Only notes was that driveway didn't get plowed (very easily could have been our fault for poor car parking) and they actually plowed our driveway in.. which was kinda crazy. And then there was a really brutal sewage smell for like 2 hours in the basement and outside one of the days.. It went away tho. Overall the house is great - would definitely stay again.

Great spot for a group; kept it mediocre condition

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall really enjoyed our stay. There were a few draw backs, the property is on top of the mountain, only rent if you're going in an suv; two of our cars got stuck going up the driveway. The driveway was not properly maintained, when we arrived the entire driveway was ice; the next day when it snowed, I had to call to get the driveway plowed. Additionally; there were cob webs and spiders in the living room; it did not look as if it had been cleaned. Main room on first floor temperature was very cold, the thermosat either did not work or was hard to use (no instructions), unfortunately we did not get to use the room. Some wear and tear on some bed linens as well. Overall good experience, but wasn't blown away by the property.

Prime location, large house to accommodate extended family

Large house, many bedrooms. Will accommodate extended family/ friends. Good well supplied kitchen. 2 gas fireplaces is a big plus. Very clean. Excellent location, private and close to the ski slopes. Need to drive about 1.5 miles to the main Killington base. Negative - plumbing! Low water pressure. Hot water is barely dribbling. Need to fix hot water, almost impossible to take shower.

fall weekend getaway house

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location in that it was quiet and tucked away from the main drag. However it had way too many beds for the small size of the kitchen and kitchen table. It was hard to pack a weekend of food for 8 into that fridge. And we had 10 people for dinner (still way less than the number of beds provided) and couldn't all fit around the table. It was very disappointing to not have a TV in the main sitting room and no one wanted to hang out in the basement where the one TV was because the rooms on that floor smelled dank and moldy. The bathrooms on the top floor were the size of airplane bathrooms, maybe ok if you were a child. And no table/lamp in one of the bigger bedrooms so I had to get out of bed to turn the light off and keep my water glass and phone on the floor next to the bed. The pillows were flat and hard. The gas fireplace would only turn on if you turned the thermostat up to 70! For the price of this house I did not feel like the amenities matched the asking price. Also there were bugs in the fridge when I went to put my groceries inside.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful time on my weekend at the Bear run property. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook or bake. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was the hot tub. I didn't think the jets were very powerful.

The house was spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were small, but comfortable and the beds were mostly good, though a couple seemed worn. The deck was large and a great place to sit. We did not use the hot tub, and it's placement under the deck was unfortunate.

My family and I loved it !!!

The home was wonderful, very cozy, very spacious. We loved the area very quiet and warming for my family. We did have a morning visit from a cub bear whom the kids enjoyed seeming from the inside of the home. Upon calling management they instructed and guided us on what to do; we found that very helpful and allowed us to stay calm. The hot tube amazing!!! And the view from the top porch both in the morning and night was also amazing . Only tiny, tiny issue was that all doors to enter the house being glass scared us after the cub appeared and that there was no dumpster on or near the property only a shaft that we were afraid to place the trash during our stay after the cub seeked for food. We were about 15 total and no one wanted to go home; they wanted to extend the stay. We loved the experience and would love to visit the home and Vermont in the near future. Would definitely recommend this location to everyone.

Perfect location

Great location. House was accurate to description. Only complaints where trash and no vacuum or snow shovel. There was trash in outside bin when we arrived and we quickly filled rest of bin with our own trash. Dumpster was completely full so we had to pile trash on top. No vacuum to clean up after ourselves and no shovel to clear walk way and deck when we arrived. Snow removal services did show up the next day to plow and shovel however. Overall we would stay again

Bear Run MLK 2019

The Bear Run house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids, and it easily could have accommodated another 4. The only challenge was fitting everyone around the kitchen table at dinner time. Bedrooms were cozy. The location is a super convenient 5 minute drive to Killington. Just be careful getting up and down to the main road. It is steep and can get very slippery. Our 4x4 car had no problem, but I could see cars without 4-wheel drive having trouble. Recommend!

Great family holiday stay!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were greeted by the warmth of two fireplaces and beautiful views out windows on three sides! The house was well-suited for our group of two families and friends. Plenty of space, and two living areas made it easy to spread out. Cozy feel for such a large house. All enjoyed the hot tub! Plow and sanding services were timely. One rec would be a small vacuum or electric broom for living spaces.

Amazing, accommodating house with giant hot tub!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were originally staying at a different house but it flooded leading us to Bear Run. The management company clearly communicated this to us and offered various comparable and even better options. The house was in great condition, clean, comfortable, cozy, and accommodating. One minor thing is that check out is at 10am which is really early so when you're paying for two nights, it ends up equating to less than 48 hours and made for a rushed departure. Additionally, the walkways were icy and could've been treated a bit better. Those things aside, we LOVED Bear Run, highly recommend it - the location was great and close to the mountain and resturants, the check in/check out process was easy, and we really enjoyed our time there.
