In classic Tahoe style, this rustic getaway will provide you with all of the charm of a mountain cabin while having the modern comforts of home! You and your guests will be sure to fall in love with the warm wood paneling, wood-burning fireplace, and full kitchen complete with a natural wood bar top, all of the major appliances, and plenty of counter space to prep ingredients. Before a day on the slopes or boating on the lake, brew a pot of coffee and step out to the private balcony or covered patio to breathe in the pine-filled air and plan a full day of fun. When everyone wants to settle down, the mounted flatscreen TV and accommodating sofa in the living room will be ideal for movie nights or catching a game.

There is no better location than this for your next Tahoe adventure, as you will be close to year-round activities and the wonderful local shops and restaurants of town! Come winter, the skiers will love heading just over a mile north to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. When the weather heats up, golfing, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking are just a few of the activities that will help you soak up that sunshine.

Things to Know
Incline Village beach access and recreation center amenities (fitness center, pools, group fitness classes, etc.) are no longer available to guests. Beaches outside of Incline Village may be open; visit the Tahoe Public Beach website for details.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Overall nice place to stay

The house is very nicely decorated and cozy. Loved all the artwork. Kitchen is well stocked. The balcony area is also nice. The beds and sofas are comfy and have soft, comfy linen. The house could have been a bit cleaner and did have some pet odors ( but the place is pet friendly so I should have expected it). Also the firepit did not work, which was a bummer as my kids were really looking forward to roasting marshmallows. Overall nice place and would stay again

Some Issues

Rented this as a gift and it fell short of expectations for a special Tahoe 3 night getaway especially at a total cost of $400+ per night. Advertised to have a fireplace but it was just an electric insert. Not obvious in virtual tour but listing has "Fireplace". 😐 Listing also states water view (maybe if I am on the roof and pictures 22 & 32 of the listing have no relationship to the condo and are misleading). Cleanliness needs work (example dirty rugs or full dog poop can which is ironic with a $300+ cleaning fee for the stay). Various maintenance items need to be addressed (one example are the heaters which seem to be either on which makes the room about 80 even when set to 50 or off).

I had to rate this “just ok” because we had a broken dishwasher and the curtain racks fell on us. And a broke chair, tan and blow dryer.

We made several communication attempts w/no response whatsoever

They should take an effort in deep cleanliness. Bedroom sheets & pillows had hair on them, a huge nail was on the bedroom floor rug. Nails sticking out of right upper corner of bed frame extremely dangerous. Throw Rugs filthy. Bedrooms felt dirty! TVs did not work! The containers of shampoo & body wash completely empty. Crappy cooking pots (rusted) . Broken coffee mugs.

Awesome Location

We loved our stay at Linda's Lakehouse. It is a great location a few minutes to Diamond Peak Ski Mountain and to downtown. We will be back.

Mountain Get Away

Finding the property was a little challenging, we didn't have the building #, we arrived and glad we packed light. Lots of vertical stairs to get to front door. Bedrooms are located downstairs and living area is up a flight of stairs. The living area was very comfortable, beautiful furnishings. We go to Tahoe to enjoy the Lake, this is the first time I rented in Tahoe and their was no pass to get into private beach area. The area has some nice outdoor dining spots and the Hyatt has a casino. Crosbys outdoor dining is a must.

Just ok

Tahoe is beautiful, but this rental was just ok. The condo had a lot of deferred maintenance- to start with, the downstairs carpet and mattress in master need replacement. Just lacked any special touches- Kitchen poorly stocked (except for black pepper), broken furniture & fan, no tips for navigating the area, and overall didn’t feel very clean. Property management was responsive but don’t seem to be doing a very good job of monitoring regular maintenance. If you are familiar with Incline and aren’t picky about accommodations then this place is probably fine. We had higher expectations- our bad.

4th of July Trip

The location was excellent. And the home was very well stocked and in a very quiet area. The lake was less than a mile away, accessible bike trails and a nearby grocery store. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Perfect for a beautiful get away with the family

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend with our 3 kids (ages 5,4,1) and dog. We stayed at Linda’s Lakehouse and it did not disappoint. When we arrived everything was clean and ready to go. The place had some nice blinds that blacked out the rooms and my baby slept amazing! The kids were so excited they got to sleep in the bunk bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some meals inside. They also made it super dog friendly and our baby got to be with us all weekend. It is also in a great location and minutes from the beach. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for the great service :)

Nice place but with some odor - thus 3 out of 5 stars

Always appreciate owners sharing their rental properties as pet friendly. Linda’s Lakehouse is in a nice, quiet location, and the 2nd floor’s great room (kitchen, dining, family room) is very inviting and well-stocked/furnished. We loved that part of condo. The bedrooms, however, on 1st floor are carpeted and smell of pet urine and musty. That part was disappointing. Owner may want to consider removing carpets and converting to hardfloors.

Stay here !

If you are second guessing your stay at Linda’s Lakehouse… don’t. Close to all incline village has to offer… not to mention the ample space on the main level with pitched roof for that Tahoe cabin vibe everyone looks for.

Linda’s Lake house

Linda’s lake house was difficult to find as the address is not indicated on the street view. I also recommend having instructions for guest on how to work the fireplace. Dispute the two hiccups, Linda’s house was beautiful and relaxing! We enjoyed our stay and the amenities of the fire place and fire pit was a great relaxing addition. Vacasa staff was very helpful with answering all our questions and patient when we were lost. Linda’s is not on the lake, but close by to lake/ beach areas. Would stay here again!

Overall nice

Overall, this is a nice condo. Unfortunately, the deck wasn't available to us for our visit as it had some structural issues. The kitchen is great and living area/sleeping area very comfortable. The rugs in the master bedroom smelled very strongly of urine, so that didn't make it feel very clean... but otherwise, it did seem clean. Hopefully, they can get those rugs cleaned soon. The condo complex was a good location, but very loud with people partying late into the night.

Good location

Location is good, & cleaning service did a decent job. My main problem is lack of good instructions how to get to the condo & not just have an address. Should really add that condo is within "Mountain Shadows" complex. There are also building numbers that add to the confusion & really should add clarity to the address. We are not the only renter who went to the wrong 321 Ski Way & knocked on the wrong condo. I feel sorry for that tenant who apparently have had quite a few wrong renters who've knocked on their door.

Dream vacation home in the beautiful Tahoe Mountains!

Love this home. Feels like Tahoe all throughout from beautiful pine wood log railings to the outdoor wrap around deck that has you relaxing in the tree tops while overlooking the beautiful scenery. Minutes from 2 ski resorts, famous Tahoe Emerald Bay, and lots of mountain biking trails everywhere. I highly recommend Linda's lakehouse as a dream getaway.
