Beautiful 9th floor Condo with Great Beach/Pool Views - South Seas Tower 4 #909
A renovated and refurbished South Seas Tower 4, 9th floor unit with Pool AND Crescent Beach views. It overlooks the pool and provides a great view of the Marco Island Crescent Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, from both bedrooms, the living room, and of course, from the lanai! You will be awe-struck by the natural beauty that greets you!
Over-looking the pool, AND the Crescent Beach, you will enjoy the changing shadows and brilliance of the waters below. The coastal finishes of the renovated unit with new furniture and the spectacular views will make your vacation stay memorable for a lifetime.... but you will want to return every year for that "Marco Mellow" relaxation!
This is a completely renovated two bedroom, two bath condominium unit that provides everything you need for a week or a month or longer, including a hallway office, which we have used to Work-From-Home! We renovated this unit for our personal use but we are now renting it.
We originally bought this unit in 2000 as it represented what we believed was the perfect height (9th floor), and perfect view to check on family at the pool and on the beach. NOTE: during the busy Season, SATURDAY Check-In/Out ONLY.
All the window-door walls were replaced with hurricane proof, insulated, e-glass, with white interior supports! This will further enhance your stay with better temperature control, UV protection, and sound isolation.
Also, all three-window door-walls (main bedroom, second bedroom and living room) have overhead Silhouette style room-darkening shades that are hidden behind the ceiling crown molding. They drop down and are operated by continuous pull cord to close for room darkening privacy or provide privacy with diffused light. If you desire nearly complete darkness in the bedrooms, you can also close the outside sliding hurricane shutters from the lanai.

The Living Room: provides comfortable furniture with glass-top coastal tables. A queen sleeper sofa and a love seat are positioned to enjoy the amazing beach views. An additional sitting chair is found in the corner. A 55" Smart TV and Yamaha sound bar to play music through your phone or iPad. High speed WiFi is available for your use, AND a battery backup should provide continued WiFi & Internet access even during a brief electrical outage!
The Dining Room: boasts a round beautiful coastal glass topped table for 6 next to the dry bar...what could be better!?!? Enjoy "Marco Mellow" with a meal, a conversation, or an evening snack at this beautiful table.
The Kitchen: fully equipped with granite counter tops and all Stainless-Steel appliances. Dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, and more will make it easy to prepare a quick breakfast, a snack, or a full dinner.
The Master Bedroom: imagine waking up to a spectacular view of the Marco Island Crescent Beach from your king bed! Walk out directly to the lanai and sit on the chaise lounge with your morning coffee. A 55" Smart TV is on the triple dresser for easy viewing from the bed. Coastal white nightstands and dresser make for a bright and inviting bedroom.
The Master Bathroom: offers a walk-in shower, one hanging closet (a walk-in closet is locked for Owner Storage) and is immediately adjacent to the master bedroom.
The Guest Room: includes coastal white furniture with glass tops, Twin-XL beds with linens, and a hanging closet. You can access the Lanai through the sliding glass door. The second bathroom with tub and shower is down the hall.
The Lanai: don't forget to spend some time on the Lanai in your chaise lounge or have a meal at the expandable table. A side table will hold your drinks and refreshments as you enjoy the view of the beach and the pool.
We strive to provide everything you need to enjoy your Marco Mellow vacation! For your convenience, we provide a hair dryer, iron with ironing board, and a limited supply of necessary disposables to get you started, e.g. tissues, napkins, toilet paper, etc. so you don't have to run to the grocery store on your arrival. We only ask that you replenish what you use.
Whether you wish to swim at the pool or walk the beach, play pickle ball, sit on the lanai or in the quiet of the condo, we have what you need! Located in the cabinets above the dry bar are 4 pickle ball racquets for your use. (Balls are available at the courts across the street.)
Located in Owner Storage near the elevators, you will find a beach cart, 6 chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler, noodles and more. Walk the beach, watch the dolphins, fish from the shore, or collect shells and sand dollars. Relax....and be Mellow!
So, what is the South Seas Resort? A gated community with more than just a heated pool and direct beach access! There are many available facilities including a fitness center in Tower 3, tennis (on clay - extra fee), pickle ball, lawn bowling or shuffleboard. You can use the marina (fee) or simply rent a boat and follow the canals to the South Seas marina to pick up the rest of your party. Make a day of it on the water!
You can walk to Tigertail Beach with its child play structure and walk beyond to the Gulf of Mexico beach.
What else is there to do in the area? Lots! Golf, boating, fishing, kayaking, and more. Parasailing, jet-skis and catamaran rentals are available down the beach. Rent a boat for the day and follow the Intracoastal Waterway to Naples for sightseeing, fishing, or shelling and swimming off Keywadin Island. Kayaking Rookery Bay Preserve is just one way to enjoy the area. Rookery Bay is 110,000 acres of mangrove forests, uplands and protective waters. Within a short drive are parks with boardwalks in the Everglades, e.g. Williams Roadside Park, to view alligators, turtles and waterfowl.
Within walking distance of South Seas are some of the Island’s favorite restaurants, like Doreen’s Cup of Joe, Joey’s Pizza, Sami's, Thai Sushi, or Fin Bistro. Lots of other options await you with a longer walk, short drive or cab ride, e.g. Mango's Dockside Bistro, Snook Inn, Little Bar, Stan's and more!

Beautiful stunning views that you never get tired of, beautiful beach, condo is clean, however not very comfortable for extended stay!!!!!
We stayed for 5 weeks and sat on balcony most of the time in cheap patio set. That was the most comfortable seating in condo. Condo had nice dining table that seated 6. Living room uncomfortable sofa sleeper, 2 danty upholstery dinning chairs and a tinny recliner from the 70s, all very tired. I'm not a big guy, however I felt like else when sitting in chairs. Not a smart TV and SLOW old school internet. Could not stream on a fire stick to watch football playoffs. I believe slow internet is do to old tired building not updated. 12 KEYS,,,,,,, 2 sets of 6, went for a bike ride, then beach. Key#1 for front gate, key#2 for building, Key #3 for condo, Key #4 for storage unit, And Key #5 was to get into pad lock on beach supply cabinet. Didn't use 6th Key for mail box. With the technology offered today, at least get a fob to open most of the doors, gates, or keyless locks. Pool used a bungy strap to slam gate. Not very safe for children. So glad pool closed at dusk or gate would slam all night. This building is a weekly rental I would not recommend an extended stay. These units sell for $800K. Spend 1 or 2 week rental income and update to comfortable furniture. It's Marco Island, be proud, have fun and enjoy life.

I am disappointed you did not express any of these concerns when we personally met you during your stay. You were clearly very unhappy when I told you it was not possible to install your proprietary keypad on our unit door due to Marco Island Fire Codes and the need to access the unit in an emergency with a Master Key. As you know, you can come and go to both the pool and the beach without a key by using the keypads. With the exception of our storage unit padlock, all of the other keys are managed by the association for all residents and with security in mind. I am sorry you struggled with them.
As for updates and even before your review, we have installed a new 55” Smart TV in the living room and we plan to install a new sleeper sofa and loveseat in the living room this summer. We have been challenged by delivery delays just as everyone else has. Unfortunately, the timing did not work for you. The patio furniture is new (November, 2021) and was not cheap. They must be brought inside when the unit is vacant or for storms, so we searched for comfortable and stackable aluminum furniture to allow both renters and the cleaners the ability to move the furniture when necessary.
You were also in residence when the new upgraded and quieter Carrier HVAC system with noise reduction insulation was installed in the unit along with the Ecobee thermostat. You were very pleased with this. We will continue to assess and replace items and furnishings as necessary, just as we upgraded the pots and pans with a Premium Hard-Anodized 10-pc Cookware Set also in November, 2021.
As for the condo tower, we are excited that the interior hallways and elevator lobbies will be upgraded this summer with new flooring, lighting and paint. These upgrades were delayed as a result of the significant damage received from Hurricane Irma in 2017 which necessitated funding of repairs and other projects, e.g. hurricane windows and doors throughout the Towers. We are confident the Condo Association has focused on the appropriate building and structural repairs to ensure our property is safe and well maintained, even as they previously upgraded the Internet services to fiber-optic speeds.

We had an amazing time at this condo! It was right on the huge beach, close to Tigertail finding sand dollars, and close to restaurants and shopping. They had tennis and pickleball courts onsite. We actually hung out on the balcony most mornings as the view and sun were perfect. The kids are excited to come back to this condo next year.
Condo was perfect for our family of 6, plenty of room! The lanai/deck was large with a beautiful view. Owners were extremely responsive and easy to work with! Would definitely recommend!

The property is amazing. The beach is one of the largest we have ever seen. We really loved the set up and the technology available in the condo. The WiFi was amazing for streaming! The beach items were a godsend. There was also ample parking and laundry is super close to the condo on the same floor! The food places are great: Joey’s, Nacho Mama’s and 2Shea Salty Dog.
We had 3 - 17yr old boys with us. They were able to do some fishing and miniature golf. We would recommend this more for adults vs teens. Unless your teens just like to relax on the beach, there is not a ton of activities without driving. However, we all had an amazing time!

We have been coming to Marco Island since 1993 to vacation with Jill's parents. In 2000 we purchased a unit for Jill's parents to use for the winter, and our use at other times, so we are very familiar with South Seas. We have experienced Marco during every month of the year and love it all of the time. Of course during the winter we love to escape the cold of the north, but the summer is wonderful here too. There is always a cool breeze from the Gulf and some days you have the entire beach and pool to yourself! We made plans to retire to this 909 unit so we renovated it for our personal use.
Why they chose this property
Before 2000 and after several years of renting units in South Seas, we decided a south facing unit is best for the view AND for the morning sun. As the day goes on and the sun moves west, other units begin to heat up with the afternoon sun. In this 909 unit, we continue to enjoy the view and the sun without the intense afternoon Florida sun, right from the lanai. You now have this same opportunity! We are proud of this property and know you will enjoy it.
What makes this property unique
This unit was renovated with all tile floors (except for master bedroom carpet), granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and hurricane proof glass sliding doors.
The hallway office is a very unique addition that allows you to work and leave your laptop and work materials on the desk, without having to clear the dining table before every meal! The dry bar at the end of the dining table with all of the storage will also help to simply your life during your stay.
Since we are so familiar with Marco Island vacation life, we have tried to include everything you will need for your vacation...4 pickle ball racquets, 6 beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, beach cart, coolers and beach toys. We also provide a chaise lounge, a table and 4 chairs on the lanai.
