This was our second time at the Birdhouse. The setting is stunning, the space very comfortable, and overall experience wonderful. It's the only place we will stay when visiting the Bitterroot.

We strive for nothing but 5 star reviews We have no control over the county road up to the residence but if that was bothersome too you I guess that dropping it down to a 4 star is your choice Disappointing to the host but your right…😐

We've stayed at the Birdhouse for the second time now, 2023 was our first, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The check-in process was seamless; the location was gorgeous and the house was perfect for our group of 6. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the house and the property. Whether it was sitting on the balcony enjoying morning coffee, sitting around the fire ring, or playing with their sweet dogs, we enjoyed every minute of our trip. The house came with all the amenities we needed and more. It was clean, spacious, well priced and absolutely perfect. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. There were farm fresh eggs in the fridge upon our arrival and Eugene & Carolyn offered plenty of advice on things to do while visiting. The Birdhouse is tucked away out of town, which is perfect for a quiet getaway, but Florence is only a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Montana!

Great location for getting away!

The hosts were friendly and accommodating, the vacation home was furnished nicely and well equipped, and the drive to the property was very scenic. One of the reasons we stayed here was so we could go on some day hikes in the Bitterroot Mountains, and we were able to drive to a couple different trail heads in 30 to 45 minutes.

Wonderful Stay

The Birdhouse is a wonderful home away from home. Eugene and Carolyn are so hospitable and make one feel welcomed, yet allow plenty of privacy. We would recommend this VRBO to all and definitely stay again. I can’t say enough good things about it!
