#28: A very unique space! This townhouse has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens: upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs: Family ready kitchen, full bathroom(newly renovated), living rm w FP(new furnishings)TV, 2 bedrooms(1 queen bed +1 full bed), large enclosed porch, patio w grill and large backyard. Side garden area with beautiful plantings. This house is full of sunshine! There is plenty of parking. This house is cozy and fun! The backyard has volleyball, pergola, barn, ping pong, firepit! So fun!

Upstairs: 2 bedrooms w 1queen bed, 2 twin beds, eat-in kitchen and full bathroom(newly renovated). Air conditioning in each bedroom. Fully heated for spring and fall rentals. Plenty of parking. The house has hardwood floors throughout, a/c, gathering spot for group bbq.

Outdoor space: Outdoor Hot Enclosed Shower. The Townhouse is part of an 20 unit/ 10 acre property at Yarmouth Country Cabins. There is an outdoor heated saltwater chlorinated pool, playground w/ beach sand + playhouse, volleyball sand court, bocci ball, badminton, hammocks, kids bikes to borrow, ping pong and outdoor communal fireplace. The rentals all have picnic tables, grills, and parking. Walking distance to Bass River Sports World featuring mini golf, arcade, batting cages, bumper cars, ice cream, pizza and more. The beaches one mile away: Parker River Beach, South Middle Beach, Smuggler's Beach. Seagull beach and West Dennis Beach are approx. 2.5 miles. Bass River Bridge is 1.5 mile from the rental location. Many Restaurants, Super Stop and Shop and gift shops are all within walking distance. The Townhouse is centrally located to Ferry Boats to the Islands and Nat'l Seashores. The location is full of fun things to do and beautiful beaches. A good pet is considered. Great for a family reunion or wedding party.
The property is packaged up for 3 day rentals in June- October. New firepit/ gathering spot for group bbq in 2024. There are a total of 18 rentals on the property.

This is Old School Cape Vacationing. A lovely place some might call past its prime but absolutely perfect for families on a budget. Nice pool, and plenty of recreational area for bocce, badminton, basketball, and more. Close to beach and area attractions like min golf and go-karts.

This house accommodated three generations with enough privacy for everyone. A wonderful side area to sit and talk, a great porch to have get together. The pool and ping pong table was a great hit! And the location was perfect, close to shopping and the beach. My son in law walked to the beach daily.

Loved it!

Had a great week there! House is cozy and plenty of rooms. Nice patio outside with grill. Location was great for the kids, lots to do in the area. The pool was wonderful and the host was so accommodating! Highly recommend!

Disaster waiting to happen

This property is quite old. Does Vrbo send reps to check these locations before placing them on their site? Broken window pane on front door. Told property manager about it. He said he'll temp fix it. Never did. TV in bedroom with no cable box, dead batteries in remote, told property manager about it. Did nothing. Advertised with 5 twin beds total, only 4! Smoke detectors with no batteries. These units are checked weekly, correct? Ceiling fixture in upstairs hallway not properly installed, wires can be seen easily. Upstairs bathroom sink is partially clogged, can't shave or brush teeth without leaving film, bathtub surround is patched together, you cant lock the door, it sticks badly that it doesn't close and the GFI is painted over, big violation. Old mattress/box spring in upstairs Queen, you roll to the middle. Structural issues with the house, floors sloped in 2nd floor bathroom and throughout. The propane grill is a bomb waiting to go off! Guts completely rusted! A.C. window units, although they worked ok, they are not properly cleaned. You can see "mold" inside of them. Broken blinds throughout and one window missing a complete pane. 1st floor bathroom door is so far out of square that there's at least a 1.5 inch gap on the latch side. I'm positive the door had to be cut for it to be able to close! For the price I paid I expected more. I can't see this place standing for very much longer. I would suggest a building inspector check the integrity of the structure! The only good thing is the location and pool.

Really had fun. More like glamping. Few items could have enhanced the experience. our house had no internet, dryer not working and kitchen could have been better equipped. Caretaker very nice and attentive.

The place definitely needs sprucing up and updating. More of a shack than a cabin but if you want a lot of room inside and out and a convenient location, it will serve your needs.

It was our second time staying here. Very family friendly and the pool is beautiful. Management is attentive to our needs. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We would definitely come back

There was always something to do bocce ball,basketball,bike riding,ping-pong and a fire pit. For those days that you didn’t want to go to the ocean that was only 10 minutes away a beautiful saltwater pool with plenty of chairs and restroom. There were also shops, restaurants and an ice cream stand in walking distance. great, great time !

there were many issues with this property which forced 4 of us to leave early

There was a puddle of water in the kitchen from defective dishwasher which wasn’t repaired before we left, cleanliness issues, bug problems, which were addressed upon calling,WiFi was intermittent at best.

Country Cabin Stay

Nice stay at this cabin. Very comfortable, and the front screened porch was where we spent relaxing time together. Would definitely recommend for families with small children. Everything we needed was at walking distance, especially the beach. The pool at the cabin was awesome for the little ones as the height on one side was two feet, perfect for them. There was a volleyball net, ping pong table, bikes of many sizes to use for guests, fire pit and more. Very relaxed, definitely a good place to stay.

The house had everything we needed.

The house worked out great for us. There was plenty for the kids to do. They loved the pool, when we werent at the beach. We could walk for ice cream, the arcade or mini golf. Look forward to next year.

Sweet spot

We had a great weeklong stay here. The cabin was cozy and clean and comfortable for four adults and two children. Our kids especially loved the pool, bikes, and playground located on site. Our hosts were very attentive and kind. Definitely recommend!

Perfect home away from home

The townhouse was really nice. The in-laws stayed downstairs, we stayed up. The two kitchens and bathrooms were handy in the morning since the downstairs people woke up much earlier than us. That allowed them to do their whole morning routine without disturbing us. We ate together on the enclosed front porch or on the outdoor dining set. The kitchens were well stocked with any pot, pan, dish, or gadget needed, but make sure to bring your own paper products, washcloths, and towels. We didn't meet Audrey, but Rich was very friendly. He also responded very quickly to any issue that arose - which only consisted of finding a dvd connector cable so we could watch a movie one evening. The location is VERY convenient to shopping, restaurants, AND beaches. The only downside is that Yarmouth Country Cabins is right off Rte. 28, which is a main cape highway, and the traffic never stops! It makes the place easy to find, but doesn't really allow for safe walking.

Misleading pictures and below expectations

When we drove in the driveway, there was a huge mound of shells sitting next to where we park. There was also a rundown shack next to the house that we found a key to but served no purpose because the door was wide open to what looked like a room full of piles of carpentry materials. Our first thought was that we spent a lot of money for this vacation and this didn't seem worth it. We also weren't completely sure our cabin was the same as the picture until we looked again. The house itself wasn't very clean at all. One of the bedrooms upstairs had dead bugs smashed on the wall that our daughter found. There were cobwebs in various places. Our bed was made with a thin blanket, for some reason, under the sheet. My wife swept the floor when we got there because there was sand in the living room and kitchen. There wasn't a single towel in the place but you could RENT them for $25. We were asked to use the outside shower whenever possible, to conserve hot water. First of all, for the money we put down for this vacation, why would we be trying to save anyone money or energy. It's supposed to be a vacation. We left a day early because we just wanted to go home. The bed was uncomfortable and just the overall feeling was unclean. My other issue is that, even though the renter is on the property, she never contacted us or even met us to see how the week was. Our only contact was when I texted her to ask about the WIFI. I must compare this to our last year's vacation in Dennis. The renters met us at the house, walked through and went over everything possible, and even left us a welcome basket in the kitchen. Here, we were greeted with spiders and dirt. Unless you want to rough it and have nothing really updated and want to pay a bunch of money, don't bother. Oh, but the renter did thank us when I told her we had left. I'm sure it was for the money and for possibly leaving the place much cleaner than we found it. UGH!!!
