A Home Sweet Home is a recently updated luxurious 5 bedroom 4 bathroom, air conditioned log home with room for the entire family or multi-families that can comfortably accommodate up to 17 people. Sorry but this cabin is NOT pet friendly.

We're only located less than 15 minutes to Boone or West Jefferson and only 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. PLUS, there is a common area in our gated community with a gazebo, picnic area, 2 charcoal grills and fire pit overlooking our beautiful pond.

This magnificent home offers a grand living room with cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, 42" flat screen satellite TV, open floor plan, and a lot of locally hand crafted furniture.

The master bedroom suite boasts a king size bed 32" satellite TV, private master bathroom with his and her sinks, and a stand up tiled shower. The master bathroom also boasts a large tub for soaking and relaxing. Walk out from your master suite to the large and spacious deck and absorb the enchanting long range views and the 3 person hot tub!

Bedroom #2 offers a king size bed and a 42" flat screen TV. The second bathroom is located on the main level as well.

The exquisite modern and extra spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It boasts everything you need to create that gourmet meal. The dining table seats up to 10 and there is extra seating at the bar with 3 bar stools. First class all the way!

Bedroom #3 is located on the upper level. It has 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen size bed to accommodate 6. There is also a full bathroom next to this bedroom. The loft has a single day bed and another day bed with a trundle for additional sleeping of 3 more guests.

Bedroom #4 and #5 are located downstairs in the basement level. Both bedrooms offer hand crafted log queen size beds in each bedroom. PLUS each bedroom has a flat screen DISH Network TV. The 4th full bathroom is located on the basement level as well.

Your entire family will enjoy the family/game room in the basement. There is a full size 8 ft pool table, large air hockey table, plenty of seating, flat screen cable TV, Gas Fireplace (seasonal), and a fitness room with a treadmill and free weights.

You and your family will greatly enjoy the outdoor Gazebo with a swing that overlooks the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and the profile view of Grandfather Mountain. Grab some wieners or marshmallows and sit by the outdoor custom made stone fire pit (wood not provided). There’s no better way to spend quality time with your family sitting around the fire pit, enjoying Mother Nature, talking, laughing, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

For the outdoor lovers, enjoy the nearby state parks, canoeing such as River Girl Fishing in Todd and Zaloo's Canoes in Jefferson, or hiking at one of the many trails in Ashe County. 2 night minimum for off peak seasons

3 night minimum for the summer months.....beginning on Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend

4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday

7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays

Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 10:00 am.

Occupancy Note:
Maximum occupancy of 17 individuals and no more than 6 vehicles must be strictly adhered to at all times. This includes registered guests in addition to temporary guests at any given time. No weddings or events are allowed in the home or on the grounds. If anything resembling an event is to take place, permission must be granted by owners in advance.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds resulting from your negligence in this matter.
