Madelyn's townhome is located in an ideal location on the south end of Tybee Island. This adorable beach home is tucked into a quiet neighborhood with a private beach walkway. While staying at Madelyn's townhome, you will be within walking distance to the Tybee grocery store, The IGA, and many other locally owned shops and restaurants.
This Tybee home has three levels. On the bottom level of the home is two bedrooms with a full bathroom in the hallway. The first ground-floor bedroom has a queen bed, and the second ground-floor bedroom has two full beds.
The middle level of this home has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen that overlooks the dining table and a large living room that is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows. Directly off of the dining table area is a covered screened-in porch and an uncovered porch for sunbathing.
The entire top floor of Madelyn's townhome is the primary bedroom suite with a king bed, private balcony, and attached full bathroom.

There is parking for three vehicles only at Madelyn's Tybee Townhome.

We were happy to have the chance to stay within a four minutes' walk from the beach.We had a group of seven and utilized the kitchen, all living areas, the patio and common area.It was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful!

We had a great time and enjoyed being super close to the beach so we could bring the kids back for bathroom breaks! Very convenient.

Tybee Family Weekend

Loved the location of the condo! Close to beach - nice walkway (not much of an ocean view but easy access). Close to grocery and restaurants. Condo needed a few cosmetic repairs but spacious and worked well for our family. Very pleased with our stay!

Great Location!

Perfect location, very safe and right next to the beach. Based on the pictures, I thought it would be outdated but it was actually pretty nice! Pack an extra blanket if you get cold cause the comforters were pretty thin. The hot water never ran out. Overall we really enjoyed it and will stay here again! My only critique would be to update the couches.

Beds are extremely hard. Kitchen was not equipped. It’s not ocean view. House needs a lot of repairs.

The location was ideal for our family, but the property was not as good as I expected when I booked the property. I booked through VRBO to have additional assurance that the property would be up to standards, but unfortunately that did not turn out to be the case. The furnishings and the upkeep of the property were below expected standards. As an example, the second level patio was in such disrepair it did not look safe. The cleaning crew did a decent job of cleaning, but the carpets and furniture coverings were old and stained. Another example is that the listing indicated it had a gas grill, but it was in total disrepair. Loved the location and the neighbors were very friendly. I would not want to stay here again unless significant improvements were made.

Tybee Island Condo with Plenty of Room

Condo was close to the beach - on a cul-de-sac that connects to a boardwalk that takes you right to the beach in a couple of minutes. We are a family of 5 with teenagers plus a family friend. Plenty of room and it was nice having the master suite on its own level on the 3rd floor. It also has a pull-out sleeper sofa that we didn't need. The condo was well-equipped and clean. The only complaint is that the advertised grill was not in very usable condition. I had to clean it well and still had to use foil due to the rust and old grease. And one of the burners had fallen down to the bottom and did not have the cover over the burner. And it did not have an igniter so I had to buy a long-handled lighter. But it still beats using community grills at the larger condo complexes. Other than that, we had no issues in our 7-night stay. We would definitely consider coming back to rent this unit.

Need updates

The property needs to updated bad. When we first arrived we notified the property manager about roaches in the house. I was dirty cup under the bed in the master bedroom. Patio has rotten wood, patio screen needs to be replaced. Teenagers bedroom has a antique television in it. It was really just a waste of money. Nice location from the beach though.

After wedding retreat

Marilyn's was a very comfortable home to enjoy for a few days with family after a busy weekend wedding. It is a sunny, spacious, and perfectly located rental. The IGA grocery store is directly across the street! If you have little ones (we didn't) it's a very safe street for them to walk to the beach or play outside of the house. I would recommend a couple of things: a few sturdy kitchen trash bags and a few basic spices for cooking. Other than that, the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The house is a bit beach-worn but that's a good thing in that you're not on pins and needles during your stay. We would definitely stay there again.
