This place is top shelf. The walking trails right from the property are fantastic. Rural but close to town. Great mountain feel. Don’t forget to visit nearby Merck Forest for more outdoor fun
We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The home is tastefully furnished and decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was comfortable and very well maintained. Communication with the host was excellent, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
This was our third time staying here and it's our favorite place to stay in VT! Just a gorgeous property, our hosts are so responsive, everything you could possibly need is there for you. We can't wait to return :)
The perfect cottage for a VT weekend! Clean, beautifully finished, in a charming town, and an easy drive to Bromley and Stratton. We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back again.
We rent in the area often, and this is a favorite for our family, especially this time of year (fall). The location is perfect and in close proximity to our favorite fall spots. The yard and hiking trails keep my kids busy and happy! We’ll definitely be back!
This house is absolutely perfect for a mountain getaway. It is so cozy and stocked with everything you need! The location is perfect as it is so close to cute little towns and hiking/skiing opportunities. Charissa is extremely accommodating and truly cares about her guests. We absolutely love it here and can’t wait to be back!!
Bucolic location nestled among the mountains in Dorset, VT. Perfect launch location for visiting Manchester and environs. Nicely appointed space - open, comfortable, clean. highly recommend
Our second time staying at this beautiful home was even better than the first--it feels like home. Spacious, super comfortable, beautifully appointed. Convenient to skiing. Lovely views. The owners could not be more gracious and accommodating. I wish we could rent seasonsally - it's that great!
The guest house was situated on a beautiful property with beautiful views. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room and fireplace made for a comfortable spot for board games and movies after a day on the mountain. The host was incredibly kind and responsive.
We look forward to another trip sometime in the near future.
One of the best stays! The guest house is perfect and every detail has been thought out. The design, cleanliness and property are immaculate. 360 degree views of the mountains! Can’t recommend this place high enough as it was one of the most comfortable stays and I would say top notch even better than The Woodstock Inn. So grateful to the hosts for sharing their guest house with us.
Such a cozy house - beautifully appointed, everything you could ever need was there. So cozy. Terrific communication with owner - would love to come back. Thanks for a great vacation! :)
This is our second stay in the guest house and it’s always a family favorite. The access to the waking trails and river keep my kids busy and so happy. We had a quick water issue but Charissa was very responsive and we got it resolved.
Nice, high quality property very convenient to the town of Dorset. We will definitely stay here again when we visit to see a show at the Dorset Theatre Festival.
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. We were extremely comfortable, and loved the hiking trails by the river! Thanks so much for your hospitality.
Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay in Charissa’s charming guest house. It is part of a stunning property in Dorset that provided endless views and opportunities to run and hike outside. The kids had a blast on the hiking trails in the woods and cried the last day when it rained and they couldn’t get back to their favorite spot by the stream. The house is fully stocked with everything you’d need for your stay, and we enjoyed several nights beside the gas fire in the living room. We cannot wait to come back!
This was a beautiful private retreat. The on property walking paths which connected to blazed hiking trails was amazing for restoring oneself at the end of the day. The cottage was really nice , really comfortable and a pleasure to enjoy.
Local restaurants were excellent in Dorset and Manchester. Golf, hiking and shopping were awesome.
