Enjoy spectacular views of the Blue Pacific from this 35th floor unit Waikiki Banyan Tower II condo. Our unit has ocean views (from living room, bedroom and balcony), probably the best at the Waikiki Banyan (and the our annual property tax bill seems to confirm it), of both the Golf Coast and Canoe and Queen’s surf breaks over St. Augustine Chapel. We also have a partial view of Diamond Head and a view of Kapiolani park adjacent to the Honolulu Zoo. This high floor Waikiki Banyan unit faces west and has direct, frontal panoramic ocean views. Of our five condos, because of its unparalleled views (not reflected in photos), the Hawaii County Assessor sends us for this condo the highest property tax bill every year.

Our unit has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner, DVD & CD player, free wifi, and free unassigned parking in Banyan's large attached garage structure. There is a lanai (balcony) facing the ocean with a table and two chairs for breakfast.

In residence guests can enjoy our sixth floor pool deck with a large swimming pool, two jacuzzis, a sauna, tennis court, electric coin operated (quarters) BBQ grills, lounge sunning chairs around pool, children play structure, fast food booth. Up to four persons staying in a condo can use the pool deck at any one time.

Unit has a cheerful island motif and was upgraded March 7, 2017 with new kitchen maple cabinets, kitchen center island, granite countertops, tile floors throughout, new oven & microwave, new wall art work. Bathroom was enlarged and upgraded two years ago (granite counter top, new cabinet, cast iron tub, travertine tile). We installed a new flat screen Sharp 40 inch TV. This will turn "standard condo" to "deluxe condo." Free unassigned parking in Waikiki Banyan's attached multilevel parking structure and free wifi.

The bedroom has a very comfortable king sized bed and the living room has a pull out queen sized sofa bed (comfortably sleeps one) . We can also bring in a high quality inflatable queen bed, twin bed(s), or play pen. There is a full sized kitchen with a microwave, large assortment of pots, pans, dishes, glasses etc... All linens are provided. The laundry room is down the hallway on the right. We supply hair dryer, iron & board, beach towels, some toiletries.

Our condo does not get the morning sun waking you up. Each exquisite view is a work of glorious art!

Calendar reflects the actual occupancy in our condo and you can book right away by simply clicking the 'BOOK IT' button on your right & filling out information on the VRBO generated form. The exact price for your stay will appear for you to approve. The GET tax is 4.712% and the TAT tax is 9.25% of the nightly rate. Cleaning Fee is $125 + 4.712% GET tax and 9.25% TAT tax for stays under 30 days and $175 + 4.712% GET tax and 9.25% TAT tax for stays over 30 days. TAT taxes increase to 10.25% on January 1, 2018.

We have enabled VRBO "Instant Booking" so your booking request is instantly confirmed without further hassles. When final payment is due 75 days prior to your arrival date, VRBO will send you payment request invoice for balance due. Once paid, you will be sent detailed entry instructions including entry punch code, so you can enter condo anytime after 3 pm check in time, wifi codes, and other important information for your stay.

For unforeseen events we recommend you purchase travel insurance such as from www.travelguard.com (reasonable).

FREE PARKING in the Waikiki Banyan's garage is included as well as FREE WIFI INTERNET service. Absolutely NO SMOKING please.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that we really enjoyed our 10 days in your condo on the 35th floor at the Waikiki Banyan. It was clean, very well equipped and in an excellent location. We spent many mornings and evenings out on the spacious lanai having our breakfast or dinner. The views are beautiful! The condo had absolutely everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels. It's a short walk to the beach, shopping, bus and the zoo. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent your condo again!

I bought this unit for the view. In 1962, as a ten year old, I stayed at the Princess Kaluani Hotel on the 12th floor (I believe) and was astounded at the incredible ocean view from the hotel room. Nearly half a century later, we bought this unit because of its incredible 35th floor ocean views of both the Gold Coast and the surf breaks over St. Augustine's Chapel. My wife is from Calgary, Canada. We've lived in Colorado and central California on the coast. We like the fact that the unit faces west, so there is no morning sun waking us up.

We bought this unit at the Waikiki Banyan because it is only one block to the beach and two blocks to a huge park in southern Waikiki. We enjoy snorkeling and there is a large fish preserve across the street from the park with a beautiful reef and all types of tropical fish. The Banyan is a resort property with incredible amenities.

What makes this condo unique

I just returned from staying in our condo last week. Every morning I took a 35 minute walk to the Lighthouse at the point on Diamond Head. The walk is along the ocean boardwalk, the Gold Coast, a quaint residential neighborhood, and up Diamond Head, bordering a scenic road. The view is spectacular. You can see great beaches with surfers below you. There are pathways down to the beautiful beaches. Every afternoon I went snorkeling either in the fish preserve by the zoo and the park or on the reef to the north of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. It is an incredible, relaxing experience. The great advantage of the Waikiki Banyan is that it is two blocks from a huge undeveloped lush green park area.

Sitting on the lanai, casting a contemplative gaze at the ants (way below on street) scurrying among the ABC stores in consideration of cheap jewelry, I was momentarily distracted by two warm soft compassionate eyes gazing back at me, from the chair next, with a hint of distance. The eyes showed total relief from the winter of their discontent. The eyes are my vacation. And the eyes were comfortable, safe, and ready for adventure. The eyes were HAPPY with my selection of accommodation. The eyes enjoyed:

Views dont get any better. Amazing is what it is!

This is such a well appointed condo with incredible views and the rest just speaks for itself.

The main bed King size is very comfortable and its just a block away from from the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped/functional and the BBQ area on the 6th floor is great if you want to grill and hang around by the pool. I cant wait to come back. Thanks Michael.

My friends and I had a wonderful time. The views from the apartment were amazing!!We would meet every afternoon for drinks on the balcony. The apartment is in a perfect position close to the beach and shops and especially the bus stop. I would definitely be staying here again.

Great views, great location, great condo

We stayed here in June, one block back from the beach, bus stops nearby, close to shops and restaurants. Super comfy beds, the couch/bed was perfect for our teen-age son. Everything you need for a home away from home. Loved sitting on the balcony for morning coffees and evening drinks - watching the surfers/swimmers and out to diamond head. Michael was really great with communication too. Would definately recommend to everyone.

One block to Waikiki Beach, one of the best beaches in the world. Two blocks away is Kapiolani Park with the Honolulu Zoo, an aquarium, large green fields. Walk through the park to the foot of Diamond Head or walk along the beach. Adjacent the park is a protected fish preserve you can go snorkeling in. Our property is one block from the beach. The main street of Waikiki with all types of restaurants from fancy to fast food & a wide array of stores is one block away. An area protected by a seawall is also one block away.
