Hacienda Estates : Maldonado- One of four new homes set in scenic vineyards

Welcome to Hacienda Estates-Maldonado, a unique VRBO community of four custom homes set in the center of an extraordinary wine grape vineyard. Centrally located in the Lodi wine appellation and the geographically diverse Jahant sub-appellation, one of the oldest wine grape growing areas of California. The surrounding vineyard is a special clonal selection brought back from Uruguay in 2018, making this the only Tannat planting (the national wine grape of Uruguay) of this clonal selection in the country. Each house is named after its geographically aligned ”department” in Uruguay. You can choose from (SW) Soriano, (NW) Artigas, (NE) Rivera, and (SE) Maldonado.

Known as Maldonado, this home is located on the southeast corner of the Estate. This beautiful new home is decorated in grey tones with contemporary furnishings and finishes. The Main Bedroom has an east facing window and an En Suite Bathroom. The two other guest bedrooms have east and west facing windows. The great room kitchen and family room is the perfect place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding vineyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with serving ware and utensil service for 6 including basic pantry staples as listed in the amenities link. Amenities for children include a portable crib with sheets, highchair, and dishes. There is a private fenced yard and patio with a dining table for al fresco meals off of the great room. The attached two car garage with EV chargers is available for your private use and there are also two additional dedicated parking spaces outside. The home is powered by solar energy. Maldonado has a full laundry room with supplies. All bed linens and towels are provided. Starter quantities of soaps and paper goods are provided for you and your guests.

Perfect for family

The House/neighborhood is absolutely perfect for a family and convenient to Lodi or Galt. Being right in the middle of wine valley of Lodi, this could not be a better location and easy to settle as a home away from home. I would recommend this location to all families looking for vacation in Lodi

Hacienda Estates is a lovely property. Bella is very welcoming and informative. It was so nice to be able to have our dogs with us. Great location for Lodi wine tasting with plently of space for friends and family.

Amazing group of properties

This property was the perfect setting for our whole family to get together for a wedding. There was so much room for our giant family to gather and have a great celebration leading up to our cousins wedding. All the rooms were spacious with great family space in the kitchen and living room.

Home away from home

This is our 4th stay here and it truly feels like a home away from home. The setting is idyllic and peaceful with all the comforts of home. My husband recently passed away and this was his favorite vacation home - it was so nice to ‘be here’ with him in spirit. Bella is an incredible hostess and is just a message away to answer any queries - she is like ‘family’ and always makes sure we feel welcome. Everything about this property is perfect!

Excellent property to stay with one family or four families

This property inside a locked gate is absolutely fabulous! It is kept impeccable . It is stocked with up to date appliances and comforts of home . I highly recommend it. We had a family wedding and rented all four homes in the compound. Absolutely wonderful!

Had the best time while staying at Hacienda Estates. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Our family loved all the activities available on the property! The layout of the home was thoughtfully considered. Bella went above and beyond to help with any and everything we needed. She’s amazing! We didn’t want to leave. We’re looking g forward to a return visit!

Comfortable, clean and warm

The house looks modern and warm and homey. Communication with the property manager was fast and efficient. However, the wireless is very slow, not sure if the speed was affected by the stormy weather. Sure this small problem can be fixed. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

Patricia, I'm so sorry that you had problems during your stay, we want our guests to relax and enjoy themselves ! I am available 24/7 for our guests if they have any questions or issues during their stay . Unfortunately ,I was not contacted during your visit so I was unable to resolve your problems. On the VRBO property description for accessibility, it is stated to our guests that this home is NOT wheelchair accessible. As far as the refrigerator filter flashing a red light, I would have been happy to come over and change the filter if you had contacted me . I had no problem in getting water or ice from the refrigerator prior to changing the filter. I hope that allowing you and your guests early check in was pleasing. We strive to take care of our guests as a reflection they have given us 5 Star Reviews . Thank you for staying at Hacienda Estates-Maldonado .

Perfect Group Staycation

This was one of the cleanest, fully loaded, comfortable vacation rentals we have stayed in, in quite some time. No detail was left unthought of, making it easy for 3 couples to plan and cook meals at the rental, enjoy quality time in the common spaces, sleep soundly in the comfortable bedrooms AND not to mention enjoy all of the outdoor games and amenities tucked away quietly behind the vineyards. We were 1 of 3 groups who rented here for our friends wedding weekend. We'll be talking about the memories made from quality time to sports competitions (knock out basketball, horse shoes, bocce, ping pong, flip cup, and even our own whiffle ball game) for years to come. 10/10 would recommend for larger adult or family groups looking for a multi home compound to staycation together. I could see this being a great family reunion location too, not to mention close proximity to many wineries in the Lodi region.

Wonderful Stay!

This property is a hidden gem in the Lodi wine region! It’s a beautiful property with the capability to rent all four units (which we did). All the homes are put together perfectly with great appliances/tech and the attention to detail was on point! They have everything you can think of, plus more (things for infants all the way up to the adults). The property has many onsite activities; cornhole, bocce ball, horseshoes, ping pong, volleyball, basketball, board games, and more. Our family never had a dull moment. I’ll finish this up with Bella, our wonderful host, she is the reason this place is great. She makes sure her guests are taken care of and will go above and beyond for anyone, as she did for our family! Thank you for the wonderful stay and we will see you again next year!

Destination is this house!

Amazing modern brand new house set in a beautiful 20 acre vineyard with plenty of stuff to do in the property itself, making this a destination!! Our dog loved this the most!!! The yard for each house is fully enclosed, so he could run around outside on his own. Our kids enjoyed all the activities - basketball court, volleball court, bocce ball and ping pong (in our garage). There is access to the vineyard...our dog loved exploring this! The property has WiFI (starlink) and it is pretty good. The garages have 2 car chargers. In addition to the great property and amenities, the prop manager Bella is super fast with responses and it is very well managed. We were welcomed with some pastries and wine. We'll definitely go there again!

Thanksgiving Family

This is our 3rd stay at this property and like the previous two stays it was exceptional and felt like our ‘home away from home.’ I was a little anxious about hosting a Thanksgiving family meal in a kitchen other than mine - but everything we needed to make it a memorable event was readily available. Aside from all meal hosting needs being met - the recreational options for family time …Basketball, volleyball, table tennis, corn hole, and horse shoes meant there was never a dull moment for the kids. We will be back to our ‘home away from home’……..and a big shout out to Bella - our property manager who made the stay exceptional!

The Perfect Thanksgiving

This is the third time we’ve used this property and it once again exceeded all our expectations. I was nervous about hosting a Thanksgiving meal for family at a rental property - but it was a seamless event…just like being at home. The kids had plenty to keep them occupied - basketball, table tennis, volleyball, horseshoes and cornhole…….nonstop family entertainment. LOVE this place and will be back numerous times more. THANK YOU Bella for always being available and responsive.

This house totally exceeded our expectations.

The home was surrounded by vineyards. Very relaxing. The bedrooms were large, Open kitchen and living room. Perfect for 3 couples. We were impressed with the extra large fenced yards. Our dogs had plenty of space to run safely. The special touches like a bottle of chilled wine in the refrigerator, bottle of boutique olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette in the kitchen were so welcoming. Bathrooms furnished with lovely shower gels, shampoo and conditioner. This was close to wonderful wineries. This was a perfect home and location. We are already planning our next trip.

Amazing Property

My daughter was getting married so we rented all four houses for some of our out of town guests. Bella was so nice and easy to communicate with and was very accommodating with our check in and check out needs. . The houses are like a model home! They are so clean and decorated beautifully. Special touches everywhere..from the special gifts left for us upon arrival to the fun games inside and outside of every house. This property is a gem!

Hacienda Estates……..WOW!

Hacienda Estates was such an awesome location to stay at surrounded by vineyards. A group of friends and family came wine tasting to celebrate my wife’s birthday and everyone loved the place. We rented 3 of the four homes. All the homes have a similar floor plans but are decorated slightly different which made it that much more enjoyable. Everything was clean. There’s was plenty of linens and other household items at your disposal. There are games to play such as Cornhole, a ping pong table, bocce ball and horseshoes. They even have a basketball hoop and volleyball court! The sunsets were spectacular! Our host Bella was so awesome. From the beginning she was very accessible and easy to communicate with. She made it all very enjoyable to stay at Hacienda Estates. We will definitely be staying here again!

Dream Weekend Destination

We stayed here during our daughter's wedding weekend. As if the occasion wasn't blissful enough, the wonderful memories of our accommodations here will also remain for a lifetime. Handing out 5 stars in every category is no exaggeration! We had every amenity we could have needed and more. It was such a peaceful retreat from start to finish and we appreciated all communications with our host. Amazing house

We were visiting our son in Lodi and choose to stay at the VRBO. It was above and beyond our imaginations. The house was pristine better than the pictures. We were able to bring our dog which is not always the case and they had a great lawn area for her to run. Best house to stay in the Lodi region.

Beautiful!

We had an amazing stay! It was my daughter’s wedding weekend and this was a beautiful home away from home!! Set in the middle of incredible vineyards, every detail was thought of in this immaculately clean and welcoming home. Plus, ping pong tables, corn hole, bocci, horseshoes. Absolutely lovely and highly recommend!

Hacienda Estates was inspired by the community estates of the great wine families of Uruguay where multiple generations of family members will live and work together on one vineyard or winery property, but each will have their own “Hacienda” for their immediate family. Multiple generations will work together side by side during the day and spend their evenings enjoying the community amenities these estates often feature.
