We had 6 adults on 3 Harleys and it was absolutely perfect! Garage to park the bikes, so nice and clean, couldn’t have asked for more. Also enjoyed some friendly competition of ski-ball! Highly recommend to anyone.

High School Graduation Trip

My son wanted to go to the Badlands and Black Hills for his graduation trip. It seemed no matter where we stayed we’d have a lot of driving to take in the sights and this home looked nice and within easy driving distance of everything. We loved the openness of the kitchen and living area as well as each bedroom upstairs having its own bathroom. The game area downstairs was very nice and all enjoyed playing skeeball. The deck was also a nice area to relax in the evening and take in the view.

The game room was phenomenal! The property itself is so great, the house is beautiful, & the views are breathtaking! The only (small) complaint would be that I booked it for 10 adults & it would only sleep 8 adults, it was a good thing we threw an air mattress in our car last minute.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and had a great time! The garage games were a huge hit as our family loves competition. A day after checkout we realized we left several things in the house and the owners were super responsive. Thanks to Heidi for coordinating a pick up! We will definitely rent this VRBO again!

We had a wonderful time. Great location! Stairs were a bit fun but we are in our late 40s and early 50s and aging as we should lol Had everything we needed and more. Never needed to contact management which was awesome, lots of fun things to do. We were a group of 6 trail riding. Lots of parking space. Would definitely stay here again. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This house is in a great location. Game room was a huge hit! Very clean. Plenty of room for parking multiple vehicle's. Beds are very comfortable. The only things that may be an issue for some people is that the lower level is not air conditioned and it got pretty warm in the downstairs game room area and bedroom. And the steps going upstairs to the kitchen, bathrooms and other 2 bedrooms are pretty steep. Otherwise it was a great place to stay!

This place was AMAZING. Beautiful inside and out. The view from the deck was breathtaking as we watched the sun come up every morning. I cannot say enough about this place, but I will say that we spent 80% of our time in the garage. With the fridge, TV, Bar, Ski-ball & Foosball, why would we go anywhere else. We LOVED this place. Beautiful cabin, great layout, comfortable surroundings. Probably should add a picture of the number of steps up to the main floor from garage for people who struggle with steps. Loved our stay. Parked our UTVs in a heated garage that was a nice surprise. Great location and amazing view!!! Had one small repair needed while we were there and Joe was there within minutes.

The Lockout Lodge worked perfect for my group of friends. We enjoyed the bar/game room in the basement. Beds were extremely comfortable. Only surprise we had was some people had to double up in the beds. Not a huge deal at all. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. The location was the perfect distance from Deadwood and Lead. Not being to close or far away. We used Black Hills Grab-A-Cab to take us down to Deadwood. Worked out great not having to drive since the first night we stayed we ran into a Highway check point. I would definitely stay here again. Summer or Winter

Great time at Lookout Lodge

We stayed here while skiing Terry Peak. The house was perfect for our family, which includes three teenagers. The main floor with the kitchen and two bedrooms, had enough room for all of us… the heated oversized garage which doubles as game room was a welcome addition, as was the bedroom which was adjacent. The house was very clean, and was accurately represented via the pictures and descriptions. It was about 10 minutes to Terry Peak, 10 Minutes to Deadwood, and 25 to Sturgis via the scenic route.
