Check out the Homestake Open Cut and adjacent mining museum right in Lead, or head for the Hills for a great day on the trails, lakes, and picturesque byways. Return to your cabin and enjoy the full kitchen or a BBQ on the patio or take a short 4-mile ride to Deadwood for a night of dining & entertainment.

Jack's Getaway has a cozy cottage feel that is a comfortable retreat for all our guests. This home faces 2 streets, Grand Avenue in the front, and Richmond Street in the back where the parking is located – including use of the garage. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs surrounding a full bathroom including tub, and the main floor features the full Kitchen, Dining, and Living areas as well as the laundry and another full bathroom. When you step outside, you will find the relaxing front porch, complete with a porch swing to enjoy the last light of the day. The back patio has a Blackstone® grill and plenty of room to sit outside to take in those awesome summer nights. You will have usage of the garage while you are there, and there is an alley adjacent to the property (permit required) to pull a trailer into so you can easily unload the bikes, ATVs, or UTVs.

It is super-easy to get around Lead, Deadwood, and the surrounding area with your personal vehicle, but there are several cab services available as well.
