3 Bedroom, 3 Bathrooms, sleeps 8
This is an 'Oh my gosh!' oceanfront home. Situated right on a sandy beach in the security gated neighborhood of Neskowin. Lincoln City is only 10 minutes south.
There is a wonderful wood burning fireplace, (wood provided), open-beamed ceilings, tongue and grooved redwood throughout, and walls of windows. This is where you go to sit by the fire and watch winter storms roll through, or, relax on the full length oceanfront deck on sunny days. The house is architect designed and very special. The third bedroom, often used for kids, is on the first level, with the rest of the home up on the second level, connected by a beautiful, large circular staircase.
This is a reverse living home, meaning the front door, one bedroom and bathroom are on the street level. The living, dining, kitchen and two bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second level above the street, connected by a large spiral staircase, (see photo). I would caution that if you are not comfortable on stairs and using a large spiral staircase to enter and exit the home, this may not be the home for you.
WiFi is provided.
Everything you could need is provided including paper goods, spices, linens, kitchen utensils, soaps, movies, games, high speed Internet, etc.
Neskowin is a private beach front community located at one of the most picturesque locations on the Oregon coast. Our own website which is linked below, shows just some of the magnificent sights that are nearby.
Lincoln City has a great selection of restaurants, a casino, outlet mall, four golf courses, crabbing, horseback riding, antique stores, and wonderful bakeries.
The pictures tell the story of this house. Our guests thoroughly enjoy their visits.

The perfect escape from day-to-day life
We really enjoyed our stay here. We've stayed in Neskowin many, many times and have always enjoyed the town, beach and people. This year we decided to switch it up and try a new rental. And I believe we found a winner! We all enjoyed ourselves and there was plenty of room for two couples and a dog. We will definitely be staying here again.
It was perfect!
This was the perfect place for a special family weekend, better than advertised! There was plenty of room for us to cook together in the kitchen, easy access to the beach to run the dogs, and all of the beds were very comfortable. The view was priceless, the fireplace made the living area cozy, and the beautiful dining room table was the perfect spot for our epic seafood boil dinner and birthday cake. We hope to be able to return again for a longer stay on the future.
Interesting property in a fantastic location. Well equipped but could do with a little extra TLC. We were there during some cold, wet windy weather so a supply of firewood would have been appreciated,
Always love our stay here. The views and location to the beach can not be beat.
Great location, nice house, and great value... just a few adjustments to make it perfect
Great location, for both sunny beach days and winter storms. (We had a group of 8 in early-Feb.) Beautiful view of Proposal Rock and a wall of windows that shows it off. The house itself was nice, albeit a bit dated. Living room was big open space (upstairs, with ground floor front-door). Dining room (also upstairs) was comfortable and table sat eight (any more was tight). As mentioned in the house details, access to the upstairs was via a spiral staircase, but it was a wide staircase and deep steps, so likely not a problem for most people.
A few minor downsides. Direct beach access was not available from the deck... had to walk out the front door (away from the beach), down the street, but down one block.. not a big deal, of course. Biggest complaint was that the kitchen was not as well stocked as we are used to for beach rentals. Usually we find all of the bare essentials plus some, but there were a few were missing... sugar (for coffee), hot sauce, dish-washing tools were light, etc. Not a big issue for a weekend trip, but did require an extra trip to the store and would have been an annoyance for a longer stay of 4+ days. The master bathroom does not have privacy from the master bedroom (no door) and I found the master bed mattress to be a bit soft, so slightly sore back by the end of the weekend (though I prefer firmer mattresses).
Overall, I'd recommend the house for a 6+ person group, particularly for a long weekend... great location and great value.
We spent a rainy winter weekend here with our adult kids and spouses and absolutely loved it. The view is spectacular and the big open floorplan makes it ideal for cooking, relaxing and socializing and just hanging out together. Two of the three bedrooms also have a beautiful view. The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes a drip and Keurig coffeemaker and even a bean grinder. The homeowners have really gone the extra mile to make the house a pleasure to stay in -- new televisions, nice bedding, toys/activity books/puzzles for kids, movies and even a kite. I would absolutely rent this house again!
Other Activities: wildlife viewing, shopping, boating, miniature golf
