Fantastic getaway and great host (provided awesome tips of where to eat/places to check out). Yummy blue crabs and variety of fish species for the outdoor lovers to either keep or catch and release. Kayaks are an added bonus along with plenty of places to just lounge and take in the beauty of the property (hammock, dockside chairs, deck furniture). Quiet neighborhood and lovely home/grounds. We plan to return!

This is our second time staying at this property, and once again, our family of four—including our 13-year-old and an elderly family member—along with our two dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The secluded and peaceful location made it easy to truly unwind, while the dock was perfect for kayaking, fishing, and crabbing. The screened-in patio with ceiling fans was my favorite place to sit and simply take in the tranquil surroundings.The home is well equipped with everything you could need and is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and welcoming. Our 13-year-old loved the campfires, fishing, and kayaking with us—and, of course, our daily trips to Chitterchats for ice cream!It’s a wonderful getaway for the whole family. We look forward to returning in the future!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Sunrise Point. It was the perfect house for our family of 5. We can to Reedville for the Annual Oyster Festival and the house was located centrally toget to town easily. The home was in great shape and had beautiful views out the water. We will definitely items look to book here again for next years trip!

Great Stay!

Quiet pleasant private setting and a lovely property. The house itself is really nice and has everything you need to have a great time and cook any meal. Comfy beds and nice atmosphere. Communications from the host were timely and amiable. We highly recommend this place!

We've stayed at this property multiple times and it never disappoints. The home, yard and dock are all amazing. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The dock provides a safe slip and quick access for fishing the GW river and Chesapeake Bay. The host is wonderful too.

Just what we were looking for

Great communication with owners. Very nice house and isolation. We come to Reedville for peace on the bay and this is just what we were looking for. Nice dock and good kayaking. Easy access to sites in the area.

Lovely place right on the bay

We had a wonderful time at this very lovely place in Reedville. It was a last-minute decision, but check-in was smooth. The kayaks were very nice, and a great way to observe local wildlife. There is both a large deck and a screened-in patio. Both family and pet friendly.

Family Memories

Sunrise Point was the perfect holiday destination for my family’s pre Christmas holiday. The open space was our gathering place for conversation, sharing memories and enjoying the spectacular view.

Awesome place to stay

This is a beautiful property! It is on the water with a dock and the views both in the morning and night were amazing. The house was extremely clean and we did not need anything when we arrived. Dealing with the owners was a great experience. Most definitely would recommend this property to get a great feel for the Northern Neck.

Sunrise Point Perfection!

This property is beautiful. It is a wonderful house - well appointed, water views, excellent location. There are many things for outdoor entertainment, but it is heavenly to just sit on the dock or the large deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! The large lot and privacy are a major bonus.

Great stay

My family and I had a great time at Sunrise. They house was everything the description said it was and more. We loved having coffee on the deck each morning and grilling in the evenings. The dock was great for fishing and teaching our little ones about fishing and crabbing. 10 out of 10!

Great stay

Stayed here with my partner and our kids, and what a lovely time we had! The house was immaculate, beds were comfy and we loved the huge yard and dock. Coffee pot didn't work on the first day and Lynn was able to get a replacement to us almost right away. Communication with her was excellent. Northern neck is one of our favorite vacation spots and this was an excellent home!

Sunrise Point Perfection!

Sunrise Point is perfection! It was our second stay and the house is comfortable, attractive, well equipped. The location is beautiful, quiet and private but a short drive for restaurants, Hughlett Preserve, and charming small towns. Delightful! Pat Nevill

Beautiful property

The house was beautifully decorated, clean and updated. The screened in porch was amazing, as well as the outdoor patio. The crab pots on the property allowed us to catch some delicious crab. The only downfall was the jellyfish, so it wasn’t possible to swim. Short of that, we had the best family weekend getaway.

Summer at Sunrise Point

This is a great place for a family. The yard and deck are spacious. The kitchen/dining area leads into the high ceiling living room. We fished from the dock and played games at the large table. Be sure to pack the bug spray and check your dog for any critters. Hope to visit again soon.

3rd Time is Still a Charm

Natural Beauty

What a relaxing week for our family! No matter where you were on the property- outfront, outback, dockside, walking, screened porch, family room, deck- you were surrounded by the quiet, serene natural beauty of the outdoors. We had fun kayaking, fishing, and crabbing! The house was very comfortable and well-appointed. We felt right at home! The owners made check-in and check-out so easy and were there for any questions we had about the area. Thank you for a memorable, wonderful week!

Rest and Relaxation

Sunrise Point was beautiful! The description and the pictures of the property are spot on. The property owners provided specific details about the property and the area itself prior to us arriving, which was extremely helpful. Many thanks! The weather was perfect for fishing during the day and enjoying a fire in the fire pit in the evening. The house was clean and well appointed! A true “R and R” retreat! We hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

Tranquility on the Waterfront

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful waterfront property in Reedville, VA. The setting is secluded and peaceful, perfect for a nature-filled getaway. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, which our whole family loved using to explore the water. We could even see schools of fish swimming by as we paddled. Mornings and evenings on the dock were magical, with herons flying overhead and serene views of the water. The hammock was a perfect touch for lazy afternoons, and we loved taking quiet strolls around the property. Our host was very kind and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Quick Weekend Getaway

Love this property. Quiet and Tranquil location on Cockrell Creek. House is spacious and clean. Great for a family. Could use a few more glasses, dinnerware but there is a dishwasher so not a big deal. Fishing was attempted but hot July so I did not expect a big haul. Caught a few small fish off the dock. Would definitely come back.
