Summary:
3 bedroom/2 bath beach house located on North Cape San Blas; only 57 steps to the beach.

The Space:
Enjoy beautiful Gulf of Mexico views and proximity and easy access to the beach at Sunny Daze. This comfortable duplex beach retreat is located off North Cape San Blas Road and is only 57 steps to the beach and within easy walking distance of the Trading Post, an ice cream stand, and fresh donuts in the mornings. This is one of the earlier constructions on the cape, but both bathrooms and the kitchen have been completely renovated. There are great views of the gulf from the open deck and almost every room in the house.


The spacious main living area is on the first level of the unit and includes a sofa, love seat, swivel chairs, a flat screen, smart television and an electric fireplace.


The dining room has seating for 6, and the kitchen has a bar with additional seating for four. The kitchen is well-equipped including a dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, dishes/silverware, a good selection of cookware, utensils, glassware, and much more!

Also on the main level are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed, a smart television and a private bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. The guest bathroom is opposite the second bedroom and has a combination tub/shower.


Ascending to the second level is an enclosed bedroom with a Queen bed, vanity and day bed.


The outdoor deck has a polywood picnic table and additional Adirondack seating. The gulf views are perfect for any meal or hanging out with family and friends.


The washer and dryer are located in a utility room under the house, which is perfect for starting your laundry immediately after a long day at the beach. There’s an outdoor shower under the house for rinsing off.

Property upgrades have recently been made, full kitchen renovation and upstairs loft haven been enclosed into a third private queen bedroom. More upgrades are in progress and new pictures will be coming soon!

Sunny Daze is a non-smoking unit, and is NOT pet friendly.


Note: Keep in mind internet access on the cape can be a challenge and intermittent outages occur. Cellular telephone reception on the cape can be spotty. Email for limitations and more information.

Your reservation includes a $250 credit for beach gear! Choose from bikes, coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas, beach wagons, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Best part, it’s delivered to the unit and is waiting for you upon your arrival.


The Loggerhead Run Bike Path is an eight-mile trail on Cape San Blas that runs the length of the Cape from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park to Salinas Park along Hwy 30E/Cape San Blas Road, and is great for walking, jogging or biking and is just on the main road up from the unit.

Have stayed in Cape San Blas at different properties over the last 12 years. Sunny Daze is a keeper! Beautiful well managed property in an excellent location Had a garbage disposal problem - fixed within a couple of hours. Had a Thanksgiving pie and coffee mugs delivered a few days before Thanksgiving. Very attentive left me with no worries. Just to enjoy a beautiful time in Cape San Blas!

Great Long Weekend in an amazing location

This cozy rental was exactly what we needed for our party of 6 + 2 dogs. The adults had the two main bedrooms and the kids loved the lofted bedroom and separate sitting room. The house had ocean views from two sides and all the bedrooms. Despite being a "2 houses back" from the beach, you are literally still only 100ft from beach with how the ocean curves around the street. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Beautiful updated bathrooms and kitchen!!! Great location. We were only given 1 roll of toilet paper. There were several cockroaches when we arrived and during our stay. The laundry room was dirty and had to be accessed outside in car port. Outside shower broken. Those few negative comments were just for your information. Overall great stay!

A Truly Sunny and Fantastic Stay!

My first time at Cape San Blas area and it was a much treasured, memorable getaway. I rented Sunny Daze for 4 nights in July for my family of 4 and my dog. It’s a clean, spacious, sunny, cozy, and inviting unit! There’s a living area, a master bedroom with its own master bath, a second bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchen, and a second bathroom. A carpeted stairway leads to an open loft which has a queen bed, and a smaller size bed for a little one. Comfy beds! Beach-themed deco adorns the whole home and the living area windows offers inviting views of the ocean waves! A kitchen with appliances, and nice bathrooms. The home sits above an open garage that has a small room with a washer/dryer. A small stairway leads from the garage up to an open patio deck by the front door of the home. The beach is just a few short steps down a sandy path from the home. We put up two beach umbrellas and beach lounge chairs that we rented from Coastline vacation rental partners - VayK Gear. We used the vacation credit that was included with our stay for these rentals. The vacation manager was very welcoming, easy and pleasant to communicate with via text. The Trading Post store is just a 5 minute walking distance and they make tasty pizza and sell grocery items. Nextdoor, there’s an ice cream, and donut place—Weber’s Little Donut Shop! Make sure to rise up early to go get those donuts—they run out fast! Great vacation overall and best location on the beach to swim, relax, and watch sunsets!

Great little staycation at Sunny Daze. The house is bright and colorful with their paintings and wall decor. It has two sides on which the beauty of the beach could be seen and was just a few steps to get there. The major problem I had with this vacation at Sunny Daze is……it wasn’t long enough!

Not what I expected!!

I think this unit needs serious consideration for the guest! First time I ever lived out of my suitcase. Closets are full of old appliances and junk! The master bedroom closets actually had cobwebs on the wooden rail to hand clothes. No room in kitchen cabinets for food they too full of odd dishes that no one would use!! Also no internet for two days we were there. Not good. Won’t stay there again. Sorry for bad review but hope it helps to clean it up !!
