The house worked perfectly for our family, was a great place to stay and get ready for our adventures each day. We cooked most of our meals there, which was pleasant so we weren't constantly eating out. We spent time outside the house too as it was so beautiful to see and hear the water daily.

Beautiful home with plenty of room for family gatherings. You can walk to the Cana Island lighthouse, and even roam the island free of charge before 10am and after 5pm if you like. We loved the Crow’s Nest, where you can stargaze and take advantage of the clear skies in this area (a Bortle 2 light pollution rating). As to parking, we had 5 cars and managed with little to no juggling - although there’s room for several more cars, parking logistics would become trickier.All in all, we’re very much looking forward to our next stay.

The property and location are both wonderful. Our host , Bill, was very nice and friendly. He tried to be helpful but the property Is tired and needs a goods cleaning out and organizing. The house was well equipped but the grill wasn’t usable, the tv system didn’t work and Bill couldn’t fix it although he tried. The garage is full of stuff to be thrown away and the ping pong table was not in a usable condition.

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating with our big group at this beautiful lakefront property. The house was perfect for our needs and the host was exceptional. They were highly responsive and provided great local recommendations. Everyone had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this home for a family getaway.

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room for our 3 generation family to be together, and also have space to do our own thing. We experienced a blizzard and power outage. Bill made sure we had everything we needed so we barely noticed! Would love to return in the summer!

This house is just as it is described, it is spacious, beautiful view of Lake Michigan, not a bad drive to the main road and VERY CLEAN. Enough bedrooms with plenty of privacy for a family of 6. Bill is very receptive to questions and offers expert local advice on what to see and where to go. Plenty of parking and again, fantastic views and a walkable beach. Already booked for next year!!

The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. One tv didn't work , it may have been the batteries in the remote. The rooms were nice, there was plenty of space for 11 of us.The area is far from any hustle and bustle, the lake view is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Home On Lake Michigan

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and had everything needed for our group. Waking up to the view of the lake was stunning! Our host was fantastic and checked in to see if we needed suggestions for food and activities. We would highly recommend this property for a large group. Hoping to come back again!!

Great vacation!

We had a great stay with 15 family members. The house was perfect for us. Many bedrooms, bathrooms, and we could all fit around the dining table! Check-in was easy and the Wi-Fi worked well. The house was so well equipped! Had absolutely everything we needed! So much fun and family time! Bill was a great communicator and made the process easy.

Lovely Winter retreat

The luxurious modern home was perfect for our large family. Big but also cozy. We loved watching the sunrise over the lake, the peaceful walks in the woods and the games by the fire!

Spring break with the family

What a beautiful home for a family getaway. Lots of space to gather, cook together and enjoy being together. No tripping over each other due to tight space. And the views of the lake are amazing!!! They cannot be beat.

If It Shows Up In Your Search-Book It

This place hit all the marks for our group of 10 that used as a base camp for Door County adventures. It really has something for all the peeps in your group: water, space for quiet, space for the loud, cooks (inside and out), pingpong...list goes on! We are already in the process of booking it again next year.

Family wedding celebration
