Wonderful landscape - NOVASOL not trustworthy
Wonderful quiet location in a great dune landscape.
Great view of the dunes upstairs.
Very good kitchen equipment, however cookware and frying pans were partially burned and not clean.
The bed quality was different. Some mattresses were very soft.
The biggest point of criticism is the business conduct of NOVASOL as a landlord. On his website he promises the greatest possible transparency for the calculation of the electricity costs consumed. That's not the case. The (English-language) link to a Danish data exchange on the development of energy costs is confusing and incomprehensible for holiday guests. In addition, NOVASOL reserves the right to raise electricity prices at any time in its contract terms. In our case (booking period July 8th - 15th, 2023), NOVASOL made excessive use of this. When booking the house on May 22nd, the kWh price was EUR 0.38, on June 15th (i.e. three weeks before departure) it was EUR 0.41 and we actually paid EUR 0.59 on the final bill (without prior notice or further explanations). This corresponds to a price increase of 55.26 percent within two (!) months (while in other countries such as Germany the production and procurement costs for energy have been falling for weeks).
That's not acceptable to me. Due to its contractual and business policy, NOVASOL is not a trustworthy holiday home rental company
