We loved staying here. The layout of the home worked perfectly for us and the backyard was lovely. We really utilized all the outdoor furniture and outdoor space. We found an amazing art gallery close by called Envision Fine Arts that we found some amazing pieces at, the home is in such a great location!!!!
The house and location were great! We enjoyed the pool, the layout of the property and had an overall good time! Had to call the owner for assistance and he called back within 15 minutes!
Great location for a family or couple’s vacay!
We couldn't have chosen a better place to reconnect with friends. Intimate and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and close proximity to downtown.
We had a great visit and the house was as advertised with a nice pool and hot tub. Very close to downtown and a grocery store. Thanks John and Robert for having us. We will come again!
My partner and I loved our stay. Everything we needed in one place. The pool was the perfect temperature and a perfect size for us. Downtown, grocery stores, and restaurants all within a 20 minute walk. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone wanted a getaway!
We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Comfortable, clean, well appointed, and excellent location convenient to downtown. Hot tub and backyard were a secluded oasis. We rented bikes for the week and barely used our car. Hope to come back soon.
This property was perfect for our relaxing first time to Palm Springs. The pool and hot tub area was amazing and very private. We spent several hours every day just chilling. The house was clean and very comfortable, with bedrooms on opposite ends of the house, it was perfect for our family trip. The home is close to downtown and very convenient to all the attractions. I highly recommend this property and would defintiely stay there again!
One of the BEST VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. Beautiful and very comfortable, everything you could possibly want. Very close to town, restaurants and stores. We loved every minute and cannot wait to return. John was helpful and very kind. Thank you again!!!!
It was good the bed was nice. Pool light didn’t work and the manual was confusing and some stuff just wasn’t where it said it would be otherwise I liked the quiet area
We stayed at Cielo and the ambiance was set from the minute we opened the door with Latin jazz playing on the surround sound system. My husband and I enjoyed the ease of walking to the main strip with restaurants and shopping not more than a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly to our trio; we made several acquaintances during walks.
Would I do it again? Absolutely yes.
Terrible plumbing, bathtubs, towels, outdoor furniture, cat clawed furniture and kitchen cookware. Owner charged stay tax($873.68) that was illegal and would not refund us.
Would never recommend this place!

This guest's description is wildly inaccurate. Our home is carefully maintained. We do our best to provide a warm and welcoming stay for each guest and welcome suggestions. There was an error in the line items on this guest's bill. I informed her that the error was to her benefit and that if I fixed it the cost would actually be more. She didn't like this solution and decided to leave this review.
Great house, clean, good location but we found out when we went to bed we we're not allowed to control the temp. Temp was fixed at 79 and the remotes we're removed. You might think 79 is ok when its hot out but the bedrooms got warm and stuffy so that made for a crappy sleep with a long day ahead. There we're multiple AC wall units in the house but no remotes. I did reach out and went back and forth with host but by 10pm we just gave up.
Good location close to airport and downtown. Nicely decorated. Nice pool. No central air and wall units were at 79 with no access to adjust. Prompt response from owner and house manager came by to turn them all to 74 but did charge me $100. If you’re not used to the heat this might not be a good match. Fairly clean but I wouldn’t say spotless. Could use a few comfort tweaks like hand soap in kitchen, shampoo and soap etc in the showers, back tub is pretty crackly finish. Lots of random spices and things in kitchen but wasn’t sure how old things were. And lots and lots of random kitchen “things”, needs to be cleaned out. Stovetop was dirty. Larger bath towels bigger than teenager size would be a nice addition.
Broken glass/windows. One of the showers had no running water and sinks didn’t have hot water. Termite feces all over the house. 10-12 feet of completely exposed fence to the neighbors yard due to broken and melted fence because of what looked like a fire/Or propane tank explosion. Unbelievable situation I was thrown into for Father’s Day weekend with my husband, parents and child. Vrbo isn’t doing anything to resolve this issue and give the proper refund due in this matter. I sent evidence with photos and videos via email. Something needs to get done.

Broken AC and unresponsive owner/manager
Temps were in the 90s-100s during our stay. 1 of the 3 bedroom AC units didn’t work. I reached out to the homeowner right away, and he didn’t believe me. After 1 night, we confirmed it wasn’t working and it never came on. He then sent someone out to get it running, but then it leaked water into that bedroom the rest of our stay. Water would pour out intermittently throughout the night waking anyone who tried to sleep in there. He acknowledged the disruptiveness and offered a partial refund but never followed through and then stopped responding to messages. Frustrating and disappointing part of our trip. There are lots of rentals in PS. The place was just fine otherwise, not mindblowing. It’s easier to avoid this one and select another with better management.
I recently stayed at this property with a group of friends, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations based on the listing.
First, the pool furniture was not at all what was pictured. The house itself is much older than the photos suggest, giving it a worn-out feel. We found the kitchen cabinets to be messy and dirty, and there was no soap provided for the dishwasher. When we asked the host, we were advised to run it without soap, which left us questioning the cleanliness of the entire kitchen.
Another major issue was the air conditioning. Despite the outside temperature reaching 80 degrees, the host had the unit set to heat mode, making our stay quite uncomfortable. We had a frustrating exchange with the host regarding this, which was not what we hoped for during our getaway.
Additionally, the beds were not comfortable, and one of the bathrooms had rust issues, forcing our group of four ladies to share one bathroom with very low water pressure. The towels provided were more like dish towels than bath towels, which was quite disappointing.
On a positive note, the host was responsive and the location was good. However, given our experience, we cannot recommend this property. If you’re considering a stay here, proceed with caution.
Needs renovation, crumbling, uncomfortable, good location though.
The photos were a very misleading. The property is in a nice neighborhood and 4 minutes away from downtown and hiking trails, but we pulled up to a dirt driveway and a pile of junk sitting in front of the house. The side of the house had more junk stacked against it and the windows were broken. Walking around the back there was crumbling storage boxes with dry rotted pool supplies. In back was a calcium stained pool, dry rotted patio furniture, and a ripped up pool umbrella.
Inside the house was very warm. The owner locks the air conditioning to 79F- despite the outside temps reaching 115F. The air conditioners are 3 in-wall hotel style units and they had trouble keeping up. Ambient temperature in the main bedroom topped 95F. It took 2 days with the curtains drawn and the house kept dark to get things down to a comfortable temperature. The main bedroom remained unusable (the AC didn't seem to work well in that room).
The main living area was unclean and frankly full of hazards: the furnature looks like a cat scratched the arms up, the cement floors are crumbling, there's a 1" cement rise around the TV area that we smashed our toes on more than once. The kitchen dishes and glasses were covered in dust. The coffee pot was broken and my wife cut her finger on it while cleaning it as it was also dirty.
When people vacation, they want to stay somewhere nicer than their own home. We should have stayed home.
