In the Heart of Old Destin. Sunchase town-homes are the original highly-desired beaches of Destin, and you can't get a better seat. You will be within walking distance to some of Destin's favorite Restaurants. 1 block from the Whales Tale There's no pool here, but the ocean is all yours. Just step off your deck onto your own beach.

A 5 min drive of outlet malls, many restaurants, and other retail shopping. Want to go to the Destin Harbor, then give yourself ten minutes driving time, and you're there.

Close to everything, comes with everything.
Purchased in 2021 this newly remodeled 1 bedroom end unit is a 'NO SMOKING / NO PETS property. It has1 main room with 2 beds in it, 1 bath and sleep 2 to 3 people comfortably.
While technically a 1 bedroom it sleeps more like studio with all the main seating and sleeping area in the main room. The unit comes fully equipped has a king bed and queen sofa in the master bedroom overlooking the ocean with a private balcony. Full kitchen is in the hallway there is a large master suite bathroom and a laundry room with Washer/Dryer.

The private balcony is equipped with chairs for a relaxing evenings in the breeze. A gated staircase allows all renters direct access to the beach and first floor balcony with an outdoor shower and beach chairs to take to the beach, The scenery is complete with both a breathtaking view of the Gulf and the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach.

There is one designated parking spot for this rental that accommodates 2 standard cars, and it is directly in front of the unit.

The scenery is complete with both a breathtaking view of the Gulf and the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach. Play in the beach all day and rinse off in the outdoor shower.

Lastly, no more looking for the perfect beach spot since the unit is deeded all the beach to to the water!

Was not indoors except to eat, shower and sleep! Great location, very clean. Does need some work on the foundation, floors were a little uneven. Great for 2 people!

Amazing weekend

This was the perfect place for what we were looking for. Amazing view right on the beach and just the right size for two of us. It’s hard to find a place meant to accommodate only two people and this place delivered! The unit has a smart tv which was not clear when we booked it, but it was a welcome surprise! We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re looking for a beach getwlaway. I highly recommend staying here!

Pleasant week

Other than not receiving the door code on time, we loved our stay in 10B. Everything was convenient and amenities were sufficient. We never even turned on the Tv—we loved sitting on the deck in the new “high chairs” watching the beautiful ocean and beach. The short walk to the water’s edge was great. The bed was comfortable and appliances seemed new. It took us a while to figure out how to use the induction stove. Great stay.

Beautiful and perfect view! Walking distance to everything- whales tail, the moon crush concerts, stores, a cute breakfast place. Coffee on the beach every am. What more could you want? We return every year!

Great amenities

This place was perfect for a week at the beach. It had everything we needed and was wonderfully located. Within walking distance to a bar and grill right on the beach and a winery is just across the street and down a little. The beach is just right outside your door and is nice and clean.

BEAUTIFUL

Six days wasn't enough! Private access to the beautiful beaches and comfortable deck chairs to spend hours listening to the waves are just two highlights. Great shower heads to clean up after a day in the ocean and the sun, washer and dryer to clean clothes, and comfortable mattress. The host was quickly responsive when the family above was making a lot of noise. The place was clean and completely free of bugs. Thank you for a special time!

Right on the beach.

Just as advertised. Step out the door and down a short path and we were on the beach. Just wish the weather would have cooperated a little more. The gas grill needs to be replaced.

Sticks in the Sand 10B Thumbs Up!!!

My wife and I stayed in 10B, which is a small studio townhouse, the last week of September. Everything was as described and very clean. Great location right on the beach. The first thing you notice from the deck is the water which is every shade of blue and teal that you can imagine. Great place. Would definitely recommend and stay here again myself.

Excellent location , beach is mere yards from the living room.

My husband and I were very pleased with Unit B. The unit was very clean, comfortable , kitchen has all the essentials. The view is out of the world spectacular! The deck has comfortable seating , the owners supply a gracious supply of beach chairs or various types. The real wow factor is proximity to your own private beach. Steps from the deck. Highly recommend Sticks in the Sand .

Excellent beach front location. Unit had all we needed. Cleaning crew missed a couple spots but overall good. Huge issue, we were not sent the access code to unlock the door and after numerous calls and 2.5 hours we were in. VRBO customer service person was quite nice and calm (I was not) but was totally unable to help.

Awesome Time

We had an extremely relaxing week. If you’re looking to enjoy the beach, beautiful beach, this is the place to go. Water was so clear. Place was perfect size for two. Sitting on deck in morning was our favorite. Although you had brand new Adirondack chairs to take to the beach the beach chairs and umbrellas need replacing. I know it has to be difficult keeping up with that. Communication was good, we will love to come back!

Great studio

Great 10-day stay in this studio for my husband and me. It has a large closet/laundry room and several drawers in the bathroom, so there's plenty of space for your belongings. The kitchen is small but has what you need to cook. The beach-side balcony is private and has steps directly to the beach. We had people staying above us for a week but hardly heard anything, even when they were walking around. We had a maintenance issue on a Saturday morning, and James was very quick to respond to my message. He spent the greater part of his Saturday having the issue resolved for us, so we were very thankful. The location is great. We absolutely recommend this studio.

Perfect place. Perfection of beach and water

Slice of paradise. Didn't cook but looked like everything was there if you wanted to. Restaurants were close and the cicle K convenient store across the street. Once you closed the door you never would know its there ! Closes at 10pm. Short walk to Paschals for a great breakfast and coffee. Great drinks at Whalestail but did not eat there. Had a Filet Mignon at Royal Palm Grille you could cut with a butter knife! Fabulous! Must stay place. Didn't want to leave. Oh, Make sure you check out the Red Bar in Grayton Beach...the BEST grouper you have ever eaten. Band was awesome too. Adults and families were there. This is the first trip to Miramar and I will be returning to 10B sticks in the sand for sure !

Luxury on a budget.

It was perfect for my husband and I celebrating our 30 year anniversary! Just the right size and so close to the ocean! The interior updates are cute and functional. The view from the beach to the back of the unit is proof that it was one of the first units on the beach. The bed was actually not that comfortable to us .. (I believe it needs a mattress topper) But the shower made up for it! Total of 2 shower heads and 2 jet showers from the wall. It was one of the best showers! I want one at home now! There was a lot of sand toys and floats. But they were kind of thrown all around the place on the lowers deck and not rinsed off. That’s why I gave 4 out 5 for cleanliness. I’m sure former guests did this, but not sure if cleaning service cleans the outside. In my opinion I think they should. But it definitely didn’t ruin our stay. Sitting on the decks was amazing. So peaceful and beach is private so it’s not crowded. The water was BEAUTIFUL! Walking distance to several places to eat, shop, or having drinks… whether it be coffee or booze. There are a few things that I think it needs though…A full length mirror! It would be perfect on the back of the door to the closet/laundry room. And if there was a way to open the window to sleep to the sounds of the ocean. Appliances are nice in the kitchen.. but it is a studio so the knocks that you may hear in the middle of the night is the ice dropping . Took us a bit to realize that. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Destin Getaway

We have stayed at multiple Miramar Beach properties over the past 10+ years & this unit was by far our best experience! It has everything we love: King size bed, balcony with beautiful beach view, parking right at the door / no parking deck to contend with, super short walk to beach, and the shower had 4 showerheads. Unit was super clean, full size washer & dryer - Literally couldn't ask for more. James was so easy to book & communicate with :) 5 stars, A++++ we WILL be back!!

Beautiful studio overlooking the gulf!

Check in and out was seem less. Beautiful condo, very clean and great location. Parking was the only issue, plenty of room, but backing up on an very busy street was a little nerve racking. Most cars would stop and let you out, that was my biggest concern. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends or family.

September Stay

This place was clean on right on the beach and lots of chairs and other items to enjoy the beach without having to buy your own. My only complaint is I would have liked to have had a full-length mirror, other than that we had a great time.

We are not professional renters. We started renting because James's originally purchased a home on the beach and for years he rented out the first floor since he only needed half the space.. We call it Sticks in the Sand because it is on pylons on the beach. Now married with 3 children we have continued to add our rental offerings . Due to the success of the original Sticks in the Sand, We now have 6 almost identical townhomes to rent! We have studio 1,2,3 bedroom units and continue to hope to provide our homes for families to enjoy..

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The units are close to everything, walking distance to a bar/restaurant and directly on the beach with private ownership all the way to the water. . The townhome can be rented 3 ways, a 2 bedroom (Listing #856410) , 1 Bdrm(Listing #2310590) or if you need more space you can rent it as a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath unit by renting them both. So it was perfect to maintain all my renters in one location.

Centrally located between Destin, Baytown and Sandestin. I provide everything you need from child toys, chairs and your own piece of private beach to enjoy. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off in and a flat panel LCD tv to relax indoors. Perfect for a couples getaway, a small family or group of friends. Sleep where you can hear the waves and not see the cars!
