Tree Top HideAway - Rural Apartment

Open-plan apartment with high ceiling, wood stove, bedroom, office with sofa bed, (it MUST be specifically requested if you want to use it!) modern kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating, A/C and heat mini splits, TV and WiFi, deck, BBQ, and a quiet location, just 3 miles from Woodstock proper, and just off of Rt 28. Separate entrance and slightly away from the main house, with it’s own parking, the views all around are of being in the treetops, with lots of birds and other wildlife to watch.
Kitchen is stocked with a Keurig, a selection of teas and coffees, cereals, eggs, butter and milk, making mornings self sufficient, and a good start to the day before you head out to the village and explore.

50th bday celebration weekend.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying here. The hosts were responsive and gave us great ideas for sight seeing and restaurants. Location was peaceful yet close to Woodstock and Kingston.

Weekend trip

We enjoyed our stay and the location just outside of Woodstock was perfect. The space was very clean, cozy and had lots of extra perks! There seemed to be so much to do in the area and we will certainly return!

A Wonderful Sanctuary

A beautiful, contemporary, peaceful place to stay in a rural setting. Just minutes to Woodstock and other area amenities. Very clean, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. A clean, comfortable apartment with every amenity we could need. We especially appreciated the flourishing plants and beautiful flowers sothoughtfully provided. We would love to return!

Amazing hideaway

Tree Top Hideaway is perfect in every way. Best equipped place I have ever stayed. Comfortable, quiet, convenient and is surrounded by trees. Hosts were responsive. It looks like the photos but more spacious. Had a very good stay.

Beautiful stay near Woodstock

All the facilities are newly renovated and very modern. The wood burning stove was awesome and gave the modern apartment a homey feeling. Truly excellent. The only complaint I have is that the hot water seems to run out slightly too quickly for my liking, and the fire station nearby. Overall, however, I'd highly recommend staying here. We had a great time!

Woodsy Woodstock

We stayed for 5 blissful days. In the end, we wished we’d had more time to hang out in the apt. It is really well furnished with ample kitchen supplies, and super comfortable - both indoor and outdoor patio spaces. We really loved our time staying here and will do so again as soon as we can. Hosts Leslie and Colin were communicative and helpful throughout our stay, and totally respectful of our privacy while staying on their property.

Fun weekend

This is a fantastic property. It is extremely clean . The kitchen is equipped with beautiful high end cabinets and appliances. Bathroom is hogh end as well. We felt like we were at home. We would highly recommend this property to everyone. Leslie and Colin, thank you so much for your hospitality.

Treetop

The space was perfect and close to all of the activities we wanted to do. It was clean. It was quaint. It was sweet, and the decor was amazing. The shower is like a dream. We spent Saturday on the Ashokan trail. We had an amazing time, and if we travel back over that way, we will definitely be repeat guests.

A relaxing weekend upstate

I was blown away by the “treetop hideaway”. My partner and I went up for a weekend getaway and had such an enjoyable time. We originally planned to do some outdoor fall activities, but the weather had other plans for us. Luckily the house was stocked with all the cookware you could ever need, games, and books. Plus a wood burning furnace and plenty of wood supplied to us by the owners. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a cozy, but spacious woods retreat.

Lovely Treetop Cottage

Interior of cottage was nicely designed and furnished. We enjoyed the wood burning stove (with wood provided which was a nice touch), especially with the cool Fall evenings. Using the TV was a little tricky, but then again what TV is NOT tricky to use these days. Surrounding property and exterior needed some help but it kind of added to the ambience. A little bit of work going on up at the main house which made it a touch noisy for sitting out on the beautiful deck, but we made do anyway. A couple of minutes away from Woodstock proper, which made it convenient. Overall though we really enjoyed this place and would definitely consider staying here again

Forrest retreat

Great little cabin tucked away in the woods. Comfortably equipped, with eclectic touches. Bed was very comfortable. Owner easy to communicate with. Would stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

This Hideaway delivers!

This was a great location for our first visit to the Catskills. It meant that we were near to both Woodstock and an awesome amount of trails and activities. We spent a week here and the apartment had everything we needed to cook, watch some tv, relax on a lovely deck and get to local supermarket for supplies. The kitchen and bath seemed state of the art with new appliances. The bath was particularly wonderful with the heated floor and open shower! Our host, Leslie communicated quickly and met every request. Bird feeders on the kitchen window was a real bonus. We would come back here in a heartbeat and was overall was the best VRBO home we’ve ever stayed in.

A True Gem

TreeTop Hideaway was a beautiful, pristine, comfortable guest house providing all the amenities you’d expect and so much more. You can imagine being in the tree tops, whether inside or out on the deck, giving a great sense of relaxation. We loved it!

Perfect in Every Way!

It was the Perfect location for us. Close to Woodstock but had the feel of a beautiful nature retreat. From fresh flowers to watching the wild turkey in the morning while drinking coffee, it was a refreshing stay. The Host was Amazing!

Quiet, Tranquil Setting

Great location, private, quite, comfortable and very clean. Little touches like chocolates, wild flowers and bird feeders made it feel like home. Everything provided - even food for breakfast. Would definitely like to return. Highly recommend Tree Top Hideaway.
