The condo is a great location - a block to the beach and walking distance of restaurants, ice cream and candy shop, a cool sports bar, shops, etc. The condo is wonderfully furnished and probably the best stocked kitchen I’ve experienced in our many rentals. There were ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the living space, great TVs in all rooms, seating for 8 and so forth.

For a few years we have stayed at pelican beach resort. This year was the first to stay in the Terrace Tower. It has all the amenities and the best locations especially if you’re looking to be close to beach.

Great Location, Loved it.

Destin has the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The Terrace is close to everything, the harbor, restaurants, shopping, fresh fish markets, Big Kahunas, the perfect family place and get away for adults. Great pool, new grills, work out room, onsite deli, beach side tiki bar, and beach service during season. The condo itself was wonderful, clean, well equipped with a large balcony to view the fantastic sunsets. We will be back!

Fabulous!!!!!

After renting this property last year, my husband and I simply HAD to request the same location for our vacation in May. The condo is very spacious, comfortable, and inviting, and the view is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everything you could possibly need is so close by--grocery stores, restaurants, family entertainment, and shopping. The beach is wonderful, as is the pool area. Everything is very well-maintained. We will DEFINITELY stay here again...and again!!!!!!!

My family and kids enjoyed our stay at the condo! At first a little disappointed that we were not right on the ocean, but in the building by the street. Once we got used to the walk to the beach our building was great! The pool and elevators were less crowded and the parking much easier than the big building on the beach. Our condo was perfect for our kids and their friends and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back to Destin!!

T704 was clean, decorated well, and very comfortable for our family of 6 adults. Very short stroll down the path to the beautiful beach. The clear water and soft sand were wonderful. While I hated the cost and having to pre-reserve our beach chairs, I am glad we did it to be near the water and have the convenience of having them ready for us everyday. The Tiki bar was an added bonus for tropical drinks. The only small negative for me personally is I wish there were more walkable waterfront restaurants. I hate traffic and driving around here is very busy. Overall a wonderful trip.

Everything was easy to find. Upon arrival check in was super easy and quick. You are just a few minute drive from everything so location is great for that! 5 minute walk to the beach was no big deal we had 2 under 2 and a 3 year old we brought a sand wagon and it was perfect for them. We also rented beach chairs and umbrellas in advance which was super easy. Anytime the kids were to tired to go out to eat they have a great place to eat right off the beach. Everything was clean and the view from the balcony was great as well! Definitely will be going back.

Pelican Resort Condo stay

Good location as far as restaurant -- but too far from beach when you have toddlers with you. Surprised that the condo was so dated (especially bathrooms, kitchen appliances [front burner on stove did not work] and living room furnishings). Was surprised at the tiny TV's in two of the bedrooms, they were more like computer monitors. Batteries in remotes needed replacing, floor of old tub in one bathroom was badly stained and needed replaced. (I scrubbed and scrubbed when we first arrived trying to get it out) If you stay here, BYOP (bring your own pillows)! The ones supplied were flat (likely from Dollar General). People were not abiding by pool closure time -- very loud until 1-2 in the morning - lots of remodeling and construction going on. And what's with the having to wear resort arm bands 24/7?!!! While owners seem very nice, the price paid for this rental was too high for what we got.

Bad ending to a perfect vacation.

Every thing was great other than the noise from the painter's at 7am when we had a 8hr drive. They were painting with white paint on our floor when we were leaving that got on us, our luggage and shoes.

I searched for almost a month and a half before I finally decided on renting this property. I was so worried the beach would be to far away for us to walk. It literally was only 5 minutes away. If you have a wagon to tote all your stuff to the beach I recommend taking it with you. It is hard to push in the sand but makes it so easy transporting everything back and forth. The condo was stocked with everything you would need just like you are back home. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking!! You get to see the beautiful lake with the fountain in it and the ocean!!! If we ever visit Destin again, I for sure will stay here =) Thank you Cindy for sharing your property with my family!! This was our first family vacation in 10 years, I am thinking that since my hubby loved it so much we might be able to come back sooner than later!

Mike and I are from Cincinnati Ohio. We first brought our 3 sons here in 1999. Loved it so much we bought T704 in 2003. It is a magical place filled with years of memories. Its already our 9-year-old grandsons favorite place to visit. We have traveled all over the U.S., and we have seen many beaches, but Destin has the most beautiful sand, water and sunsets making it near and dear to our hearts. We are very fortunate to have a direct flight into VPS airport 25 minutes away. But it is also an eleven-hour drive.

Why they chose this property

Once you visit with us, you will know why. Wonderful! After 20 years we have not found a better resort or location. Everything about the Pelican Beach Resort is just what we wanted in a beach getaway. When we purchased the condo, we had 3 teenaged sons and there is a water park, go-carts, putt-putt, ice cream shop, beach store and breakfast restaurant within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants and entertainment options are conveniently located to the Pelican.

What makes this property unique

Location can't be beat. Steps from the most beautiful beach in the U.S. Having morning coffee on the balcony with an ocean view.
The sunsets from the balcony are the most spectacular I've ever seen, especially in the Fall. The amenities of the resort, 4 pools, 3 spa tubs, 2 work out rooms, tennis courts, a Deli/market on the property, Tiki Hut for beach beverages, beach service. Awesome.
