Welcome to Cold Creek Lodge, your perfect year-round getaway in South Lake Tahoe. This 3-bedroom home features open-beam, vaulted ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forest. Step out onto the large backyard deck to enjoy BBQ grilling or relax on the front balcony, surrounded by mature aspens, pines, and manzanitas.

The gourmet kitchen includes a spacious island and breakfast bar, while the executive desk offers inspiring mountain views for remote work. Kids can enjoy dedicated learning spaces with high-speed internet. The master bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the forest and mountains.

Quite and relaxing stay

We found this property to be the perfect getaway location for a quiet and relaxing trip to Lake Tahoe. Quiet neighborhood with close proximity to beaches, nearby Nevada casinos, and plenty of room for our group.

Beautiful house

Great property with a nice view. We had a lot of fun and used the BBQ the first night and noticed they also provided a spare propane if needed. I'm saving this property to book again next time we go up.

Location, location, location

This venue, especially it's location was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 children. We were only a short drive away from a concert in South Shore, and walking distance from quiet less crowded places to hike and swim. The house felt secure, was clean and furnished comfortably to suit our needs.

Pleasant place to stay for larger groups

We did a couples trip here and it was extremely nice and very roomy. We had 5 couples and each had their own bedroom which was extremely convenient so we did not have to share. The neighborhood was located in a great spot just close enough for convenience and far enough for some peace and quiet. Overall I would recommend to anyone traveling to the Lake Tahoe area.

Wonderful cabin close to Heavenly! Very cozy and comfortable

Great spot! Loved the open kitchen to living room concept, it made it so fun to cook and socialize as a group. Very comfortable living room area. Spacious and spotless bathrooms. The house was overall very clean which was a relief (not all rentals come like this). It was very easy to reach the staff for help with the heat and appreciated the quick response time.

A true Tahoe cabin

Check in and check out was seamless. It’s unseasonably hot in South Lake Tahoe this year and this place did not have AC. We didn’t spend much time there during the day and the temperature was fine at night with all of the windows open. We were able to have a nice dinner on the furnished spacious back deck. Plenty of room for a large family, comfy couches to lounge on and nice big kitchen. We enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect

Beautiful, clean, spacious home with all the amenities. The house is in a great location-7 min drive to the main drag in South Lake Tahoe. Quiet, stunning view from the deck. Enjoyed dinner/drinks at the fire pit table overlooking the mountains. So nice. The property company who manages it was very attentive, checking in via email. They came over and put out the chair cushions that were not out. Very friendly and amenable. I would absolutely recommend staying here. We were a family of four with two adult children. The house had space, comfort and the mountain vibe we were looking for. I will miss being there!

The house was great for nine of us to stay. And after a 12 inch snowstorm, they came right out and cleared the very long driveway. We would definitely rent from them again!

First time renting

Best experience for the first time staying at a vacation rental. Very clean. Easy check in. Property it's self is beautiful. Only issue was the drive way was very slippery we asked it it could be cleaned and never got back to us. Make sure you bring salt to get rid of the ice and a strong shovel. Over stay was GREAT!!!

Nice house in a great location for South Lake Tahoe

The house is a nice size and accommodated 6 adults and 6 kids. My only complaint is there are only 2 bathrooms (neither being en suite). I would recommend this property for family gatherings!

Nice place not far from the Lake and other attractions

Overall it was a pleasant stay except for an ant infestation that was making a mess in one of the upstairs bedrooms’ ceiling because of the fires driving them to find new homes. This was unforeseeable by the owners and they rectified the situation with us. The property itself was comfortable and provided an enjoyable trip.
