Sunsets and Relaxation await - Spot of Sun Bay Cottage

Restored tiny bay cottage with lots of character, amazing views, sunsets, and all of the comforts of home. Located on a quiet, wooded lot on a private road. 1 private bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite full bathroom. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening meal on the private covered porch with some of the best bay views around. Bring your cast net or fishing rods to use on the private pier. Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and all stainless appliances - equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve a meal. Public beach/Gulf access about a mile away. Several popular restaurants minutes away as well as Kiva Dunes Golf Course. Still in driving distance to all of the main Gulf Shores attractions - 15-20 minutes away.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck with table, private pier.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, starter roll of toilet paper/paper towels, and travel-sized soaps in bathroom.

Everything was as described. Clean and welcoming. The host was responsive and helpful. The accommodations are perfect for a couple. It is private and quiet. Everything needed to be comfortable is there.

This was a cute cottage for my husband and me. Everything was clean, and Shonna communicated quickly and answered all of our questions. There were no beach chairs on the property, so we purchased some for the duration of our stay. We used these when we traveled to the Gulf, and we also enjoyed sitting out in the sand by the water at the cottage.

We had such a great time. Enjoyed sitting on bench feeding the seagulls. Easy access to the beach. Less crowded and peaceful. The whole place was inviting.

It was very clean, great view, quiet and private. The patio door was very difficult to open and close, and the steps were not of consistent rise and run. My husband and i each stumbled on the weirdly short step and added some bruises to our souvenir collection to bring home with us, but no bones were broken. The shower head was tall enough for my husband to get all the way under, and he tells me it has a massaging option, but i couldn't reach it, so i guess that was a trade off. Even though the house is small, there was plenty of room for everything, and we spent most of our time on the deck watching for dolphin and catching crab. Every sunset was gorgeous. We would stay again.

We have a great time, small, cute, quiet, got everything you need!...excellent for couple...we catches a lots of crabs, no fish because we don't know how to fish...over all great time!...good communication from Shonna...Beach access, go to "Our Road", about 3 miles from the property, park on side of the street, easy access to Beach...Highly recommend the property!

It was a nice little place for 2 with a double bed.Kitchen towels were provided but I don't know why. A basket of misc towels were there to clean up with. The stove was dirty so we didn't cook anything. It was nice seeing the dolphins come in.Overall it was a cute little place where my husband could fish.

We loved our stay and it was really hard to leave. The house is in a great location. I really enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the herons and pelicans. We had the best seats on the dock to watch the sunsets every evening. I felt so relaxed after this trip.

Absolutely beautiful! This was my second stay and it never ceases to amaze me how gorgeous the views are. It’s great for a couple! The private dock and patio make it perfect for enjoying the weather and the views. Will definitely be back.

We love Ft Morgan and come down a couple of times a year. This was a great place to stay. It was clean and cozy! We had everything we needed. We loved the back porch and enjoyed fishing and the sunsets from the pier. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a relaxing comfortable vacation.
