Lush woodlands welcome you, opening up to panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Step onto your own private beach, where the golden sands and soothing waves invite you to unwind and create lasting memories with family and friends. (Please note that with these beautiful bluff views, comes 250 steps down to access your private beach – Public beaches are a 3-5 minute drive.)
With the capacity to comfortably sleep 11-12 guests, this spacious abode is perfect for multi-generational families or groups of friends seeking a shared getaway (3 bedrooms–king, queen, 2 sets of bunks as well as a full size daybed in the living nook, an additional fold out memory foam mattress, and another daybed in master). The interior seamlessly blends modern comforts with charm, providing an inviting atmosphere that instantly feels like home.

The house sits atop a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Do NOT explore the bluff other than the 250 stairs. The bluff is dangerous.

The view is incredible---even the unexpected great view out from the kitchen sink area! Also, the wood burning fireplace was particularly nice on some chilly nights. This place was even better than we expected, and the hosts were particularly responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place in every way. The location is beautiful, with incredible views of Lake Michigan. Very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lots of towels, excellent communication. Stayed here with some friends for our annual golf trip and it was perfect.

Had an absolutely perfect weekend at this home, we enjoyed serene mornings outside while looking at the lake and sunsets every night as well as a fire pit when it got dark! We had lovely walks along the beach, I do need to mention that the staircase up from and the beach was quite taxing, but the beach itself was so awesome!

A wonderful experience

We enjoyed the lake and the views and stunning sunsets!All was wonderful and even so here are a few minor recommendations: We needed dry kindling - we should have brought an axe to split your marvelous dry firewood. The kindling piles were wet. We had to empty the weber grill of ash - it was overflowing. We had to make a bbq charcoal run. We left our extra charcoal there for the next guest. The fan in the Master BR doesn't seem to work.OTHERWISE - all good!(have a rental place too so we know real feedback is helpful.)Thanks so much!

Amazing stay!

Our family had the best vacation! The property and home are more beautiful than the pictures show. The house is larger than expected, and the lake views were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great views and relaxing stay!

This place is fantastic! Amazing views and comfy furniture. It's even better than the photos. Sadly, we only got to stay one of our two nights because we had to head home due to a family illness, but we'd come back in a heart beat. What a great spot.

WHAT A VIEW!

This place is LOVELY! It was very cold when we were there and the fireplace in the living room gave us LIFE. We were there for thanksgiving and loved having this nice spot to disconnect from city life with family.

Everything and more

Property and home were absolutely amazing. The view was incredible, could wake up everyday and have my morning coffee staring out there forever. The house was very nice and very cozy, great to curl up by the fire and have some hot chocolate or play some board games. Even visiting in mid-November it was an absolute dream and a birthday my girlfriend will never forget. Thank you for helping us create this memory!

Another relaxing stay!

This was our 3rd timing staying here and we loved it even more! The stairs down to the beach gave us 3 days on the beach with no one in sight! The house is always very clean and the Lachlan was very responsive! I love that this VRBO is personally owned rather than by a large project manager type company. It makes for much easier communication and intentionally for our stay. We plan to come back next year!

Fantastic location, view and house

Excellent property in every way. The view is incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. The home was spacious, well-equipped, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was enormous. Superb communication and the check-in process was smooth. Perfect stay in every way.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

Love love love this house and the location. Beautiful backyard on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan with a beautiful private beach. Definitely a hidden oasis and very special spot. Cant wait to visit again!

A wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Inn Dew Thyme! The home is beautifully decorated and the location is perfect! The home is fully stocked which I truly appreciate. The owners were attentive and lovely to communicate with. You can tell they want you to enjoy your time. The beach is incredible! It is definitely worth the 250 steps. The tree lined driveway and wooded area is so pretty. We took a lot of walks thru the property. If you have kiddos, look in the back of the “welcome” book for the quest. We loved the adventure! So creative! There is something magical about this place! We will be back!

Perfect location

Great, well stocked house with incredible views easily accommodated 2 families of four. Close proximity to Stoney and Silver lake. Days spent on the private beach…. Nights by the fire with the moon reflecting off Lake Michigan. Steps down to the water were well worth the privacy

We are two families that have been friends for over 20 years. We love renovating houses, playing euchre, and sipping old fashioneds! And we love hosting guests in our Inn Dew Thyme home on Lake Michigan with stunning views!!

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

This home is on Lake Michigan with the most gorgeous sunsets right over the water...it's a bonus when you see a storm rolling over the water. Although the home is quite modernized, it's also the quietest, most peaceful place we know with very little activity near it. Many beaches are nearby with plenty of good food and shopping, but you'll get every bit of the relaxation you need when you walk through the door at Inn Dew Thyme. There's lots of nice perks here also such as beach chairs, firewood, fast (fiber) wi-fi, and much, much more.
