Best location in Delray! Located in the Marina Historic District, this house is two blocks from the intracoastal marina, two and a half blocks from downtown/Atlantic Avenue, 3 blocks from the intracoastal bridge, and across the street from the intracoastal. The beach is a 10 minute walk (less than a mile) or a very short drive! You can walk out the front door, cross the street, and sit on a bench overlooking the intracoastal waterway (public access) at SE 3rd Street. This is a charming, comfortable, well-stocked, and cozy single family home located in the heart of beautiful Delray Beach. It underwent a total renovation in 2016 and is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home which sleeps six comfortably. Master bedroom has king size bed and TV. Second bedroom has queen size bed and desk. Third bedroom has bunk beds and is kid friendly with toys and games. Home is fully furnished with all amenities. The beautiful backyard has Koi pond and large wood deck patio with BBQ grill so you can cook out or just sit and enjoy the Florida weather. You are in the hub of the charming Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach (voted The All American City) with it trendy shops and boutiques, art galleries, art district, museum, antique stores, thrift shops, parks, tennis, golf, and dozens of restaurants!

The Delray Beach Tennis Center is less than one mile away. The Delray Beach Tennis Center is a full-service public tennis facility with tennis and pickleball courts It has a 8,200 seat stadium located in the heart of Delray Beach, FL, just to the west of the world famous downtown area on Atlantic Avenue.

The Delray Beach Tennis Center features 19 lit courts, an upstairs pavilion and conference room, and a pro shop with a locker room, racquet stringing and merchandise. The club offers a wide variety of adult and junior programs, leagues, clinics and camps. Pickle ball courts are also available!

Wonderful

Comfortable, convenient to town, beautifully, clean with very thoughtful design choices. Outdoor shower, porch and patio with pergola are such a plus.

Perfect Delray Stay

This was our first VRBO stay and didnt know what to expect. Anita was wonderful to work with. Our place was spotless, well equipped with everything you can imagine and extremely close to Atlantic Avenue and beach. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location

We were so happy with our decision to stay at this property with our 2 year old on an extended weekend - it had everything we needed for traveling with a toddler. The place was impeccably clean, easy check in process, and Anita was flexible with us when we needed to be. The location was extremely convenient and in a lovely quiet stretch of Delray but still close to everything we needed.

Great rental! Clean and very well equipped. Well thought out and managed. Short walk to Atlantic Avenue restaurants, shops and to the intercoastal waterway. Easy bike ride to the beach. Would love to stay there again.

Perfect home

This house was perfect for our stay in Delray Beach! Equipped with everything that we needed, including beach chairs and umbrella! The patio was nice to hang out at. Added benefit was my daughter lives just a couple of blocks away. We will definitely want to rent this place again. Also, we have rented many houses with Vrbo and this one, by far, was the cleanest!

Lovely family retreat

We enjoyed the time and the space so much! It was truly a blessing for our family to have a clean and beautiful space to vacate our busy life. We enjoyed the home's many listed amenities and a few pleasant surprises. Anita and Dan were very welcoming, kind and responsive. We are already booked and looking forward to next year! Home away from home

Wonderful house. Great location. Close to downtown and beach. The house was perfect for my family and two small dogs. So many nice touches. Anita and Dan thought of everything. It was like coming home. We were so comfortable in the house, yard, and neighborhood. Owners were extremely responsive when we had a question. If we come back to Delray we would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable property close to Atlantic Ave

Stayed here with family and enjoyed every minute of it. Ready to use kitchen, nice patio with adjustable pergola, and close proximity to Atlantic Ave made our stay. Communication with host was excellent, and the neighborhood is perfect for walks to the marina. Only thing to point out is the some of the bedroom doors are slatted, but believe this is to make the air cond. work better. Our white noise fans came in handy. Will definitely be booking again.

Our stay was amazing! The house is SO cute, clean, well equipped and in a great location. The patio was so nice to hang out on in the evenings. All the beds were extremely comfortable - the master and the beds our college kids slept in! The neighborhood is nice and safe with several people walking on the street. It’s an easy walk to Atlantic Avenue. We didn’t rent a car, so it was important for us to be able to walk. The nicest owners !! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We will be renting your house again in the future.

Ritz Carlton of rental properties

This was our second year renting this property for the month of January. It continues to be the best single rental we have ever stayed at. In immaculate condition, with owners Anita and Dan next store, it is totally equipped for renters. In addition, they have added an electric pergola and beautiful landscaping in the outside area adjacent to the house. These improvements made an already outstanding experience even better. You cannot beat the location near the Intercoastal, Atlantic Avenue, and the beach. We will be back next year.

Perfect Spot!

This house is exactly as advertised- it was sparkling clean and well appointed, with small items one often forgets to pack for a VRBO (the owner had paper towels, dish washer detergent, toilet paper, etc.). The rooms were perfect- my family of five fit with no problem. There is a nice sized outdoor area that is well-shaded as well. This property is very walkable to downtown, and we enjoyed walking to the park, to shops, restaurants, and to watch the boats on the intracoastal. The owner was so kind- my four year old got us locked out of the house one day and the owner was over within minutes of my contacting her. When we wanted to extend our stay, she worked with us to make it as seamless as possible. I would recommend Dolphin Cottage to anyone who is looking to stay in the Delray area!

Incredible House in an Amazing Location!

I’ve been visiting Delray Beach for the last 19 years. I’ve stayed in a lot of houses, and this house is the loveliest house I’ve stayed in to date. It was simply but beautifuly furnished with every possible amenity. There were delightful front and back areas with seating areas, a grill and even a small cute fishpond. The location was excellent. The neighborhood was gorgeous!! A few blocks from Atlantic Blvd. And one block from the inner coastal with a refreshing view of the water. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were aspirational and perfect. Anita left very thorough instructions for everything we needed to know. She was very easy to communicate with via text and always got back to me promptly. My family and I LOVED staying here, and we definitely plan on coming back again! Heaven in Delray Beach

My wife, 13year old dog, and I just spent the month of January 2019 at Anita and Dan's place in the Marina district of Delray Beach. The place is amazing, and so are Anita and Dan who live next door. This is the best experience that we have ever had in our 5 plus years staying at HomeAway properties. The location is perfect in the historical Marina district (so eclectic and cool), a half block from the Intercoastal Waterway and only a 2 1/2 block walk to the restaurants and bars on bustling Atlantic Avenue. It is about 3/4 of a mile to the public beach, which is a nice walk or a short Uber. The HomeAway posting and pictures do not do justice to how nice it is in person. It was much bigger than it looked online and modernly refurbished: a large combination family room, dining room, and kitchen (beautifully done, with dishwasher and pantry with washer and dryer); a large master bedroom with a king bed; a generous 2nd bedroom with a queen bed; and a nice sized 3rd bedroom with bunk beds; along with 2 bathrooms. Great internet and TV setup! What we really loved was spending time outside on the deck, where we ate most of our dinners, and reading on a chair either there, or in the spacious backyard, which is enclosed (to easily let our dog out). Our dog loved our daily walks along the Intercoastal up to Atlantic Ave. and back, and I loved my runs up to and along the beach by A1A. I can't say enough about what great hosts Anita and Dan are, and how well equipped the house is with all the little things that you usually have to buy (also has beach chairs and towels). While they were always responsive to any little questions that arose, they allowed you to enjoy your privacy without intrusion. But we just enjoyed their company so much, we spent plenty of time socializing together. We will be back next year, I cannot recommend this property highly enough, 5 + stars!
