3 Oaks

Great house and layout! Plenty to do inside if the weather stinks, and is a short walk to the beach. Worth the stay!

Three Oaks is a lovely home and well appointed. The location is perfect as close to walk to the beach (even better when you rent a golf cart as golf cart parking is off 23rd Avenue) but away from the hustle and bustle of Palm Blvd. The pool and the putting green were a big hit with our family. There is a good selection of games, puzzles and books. The scullery is very large and conventent for having a second dishwasher. The wine/beverage cooler was nice and much appreciated. For a house this size, the refrigerator is small if you are a group that enjoys cooking vs going out. Our one major disappointment was the property was not accurately listed. It is not a true 5 bedroom house. The basement bedroom as no emergency egress (ie a window) and by building code cannot be classified as a bedroom. With a fireman in our group, it was quickly advised that noone should sleep in the basement bedroom. With other guests having real estate backgrounds, we knew appraisers will also not list this space as a bedroom as it does not have a closet. Our guest using this space moved up to the office (which is a nice space) and sharing the master closet with us. We purchased a blow up mattress to accomodate them. There is a full bath in the basement space, but just be aware the bedroom listing is misleading. The management company did understand our position and was most helfpul in handling our concerns. IF you need a 4 bedroom home...it is great!

Perfect House and Location

We have rented other homes for the week but this was our favorite. The house was so roomy and very clean. I loved the butler’s pantry and shelves for food we brought in. The pool was salt water and we enjoyed the shade over it for half day. Plus, the two washers and dryers were wonderful to keep up with laundry and pool towels

Great place but no working pool

The home and outdoor space is lovely-which is why we chose it and paid a ton of money. However the pool did not heat up any of the three days we were there and so unfortunately changed the nature of our trip.

This home is beautiful and very comfortable. The property manager was responsive. The only challenge was the outdoors with the tree droppings and pollen which made it hard to keep clean. The pool is very nice as well. Very close to the beach!

Thank you for your review! We’re so glad you found the home beautiful and comfortable, and that you had a positive experience with our responsive property manager. It’s also great to hear you enjoyed the pool and the close beach access. We appreciate your feedback regarding the outdoor conditions and understand how seasonal pollen and tree debris can make things more difficult to keep clean.

Wonderful stay on IOP

My family stayed this Thanksgiving in this wonderful house and enjoyed the well appointed kitchen and pantry. The house was clean and well maintained. I would hesitate to stay again having seen the amenities the house offered but weren't allowed. In particular not having access to both the garage door code and the elevator (not disclosed in listing so I wasn't aware there was one) made it difficult to bring anything in or out of the house. Like most houses in this location the house has a lot of steps to get to the main entrance. The porch I'm sure is great in the summer but during the winter months its fully shaded both morning and afternoon, the only part of the property getting any direct sun is the driveway. The basement was a great space for us to enjoy (love the ping pong table) and more than made up for the limited seating in the main living room. Overall a great house and definitely would consider staying again.

Hi Joseph! Thank you for the review. Like you mentioned, we do not advertise those particular amenities as they are not available for guest use (the elevator and the garage code). The garage is still accessible within the home. We are happy to hear that you'd like to stay again, and we'd love to host again soon! Take care.

5 Stars for 3 Oaks

We were traveling for a family wedding and found this great house on Isle Of Palms. The house is amazing, spacious, and had every amenity you could imagine. Game room for the kids, large space for family brunch gathering (20+) and a gorgeous backyard. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious place to stay.

The property was great, very clean, well optioned, appointed, and maintained. Lots of great functional features, and details made staying at the house very enjoyable. Kitchen area very versatile. A very roomy floorplan from top to bottom that was easy to navigate, and spread out. So many different hang out areas throughout the house (inside and out!) for the family to enjoy. Everyone had space to roam! Just one side note,...Thought there could have been more seating capacity/options in the main Livingroom area to accommodate more folks, (maybe a big sectional would work!), but for sure not a deal breaker. Enjoyed our week at the house, and would highly recommend. Thank you!
