This property is clean and perfect for quiet get away. The lake setting is peaceful and sitting area is perfect for gazing at the lake, relaxing, and collecting thoughts. Helen the host communicates well and ensures your stay is perfect.

This is my 4th or 5th time at Grandma’s Cottage and as usual, it was excellent. The cottage is as described, the location is ideal and the hospitality is awesome. I love the sound of the geese on the lake. Thank you for providing me with a great place to get away and relax.

My husband and I enjoyed another wonderful and relaxing several days at Grandma’s Cottage. This was our 2nd time, and we look forward to coming back. The location is ideal: close to businesses but away from the hustle and bustle on a small, beautiful lake, centrally located in Delaware. This makes for easy day trips to the coast (Rehoboth Beach & Lewes, DE, and Ocean City, MD), Dover, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Chincoteague, VA, and more.The cottage had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. We prepared a few meals and didn't need to buy anything unexpected. It was refreshing to have linens, towels, and other essentials provided. There was nothing we could think of that was missing. The cottage is nicely decorated, comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean.Helen and TJ are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them again and getting Helen's wonderful recommendations. This was the perfect getaway for us and just what we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at Grandma’s Cottage again in the future.

We had an awesome time staying here. They were so welcoming and the directions were super easy and straightforward for the cottage. They gave us a plethora of food options in this book that was super helpful with choosing food. But overall was a great experience and will definitely be staying there again!

This was a cute little cottage right on the water. Was perfect for our lacrosse tournament this past weekend and we would stay here again if we ever come back to DE for a tournament. Realxing evenings sitting by the firepit watching the water.

Wonderful stay at the cottage, we had all the comforts of home amazing property with lake views.

Haven Lake and Griffith Lake all with boat ramps for some relaxing fishing ( please follow state and local regulations)or kayaking, local state park Killens State Park (10 minutes) for biking, hiking, fishing and ballgames Killens also has a public pool with an slide!!!
