Peaceful living just outside of town

Newly renovated home located just outside of both Camden and Wyoming Delaware in a quiet country setting just off the main road. Home includes a small play area with 2 swing sets, horse shoe pits, picnic table and grill for family gatherings. Inside fully furnished home that sleeps max of 5 adults and 2 children. 1 queen bed, one full bed, one twin and 2 bunk beds. Kitchen comes equipped with Full size refrigerator/ freezer combo, new electric stove, dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave and toaster. Also fully equipped with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Dining table sits 4 comfortably. Both bathrooms are equipped with toiletries and bath towels.

Within 5 miles, you have access to various dine-in options such as Texas road house, Applebee's, Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, Waffle House, and Grottos Pizza. Take Out locations such as Dominos, Jades Garden, and Chipotle. Shopping options such as Walmart super center, Lowes Home Improvement, Tractor Supply, and Dollar Tree. Wyoming is a smaller town with antique shopping, Brecknock Park, even a vintage style ice cream parlor with a mini golf course next door. Some larger attractions such as Bally's Dover Casino Resort, Dover Mall, and many more shopping and dining options are approximately 10 miles north on Rt 13; Harrington Casino and race track is approximately 10 miles south on Rt 13. If you are interested in visiting our beaches, this home is located just 10 miles from Rt1 access and a 30 minute drive south to the beaches and outlets.

The house met our needs for a short stay. The appliances and air conditioning were in working order, the beds were comfortable, and the property was clean. We would have no problem staying at this property again in the future.

Weekend get away

I loved the property as well as the surrounding towns. The house and various establishments we visited in the area were all family friendly. Karen the host, was very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions we had. I will be keeping this property in my " Favorites! "

Great experience. The host stopped by to drop off trash bags and she was very nice. The house had everything we needed and then some. Very clean and plenty of stuff for the kids. They loved the play set in the back yard. Nice location a few miles from 13 and a convenient location proximate to the fairgrounds. Would definitely recommend.

Unexpected pleasure

From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. Karen communicated very well and she had the place set up as if we were here most important guests. The bedrooms and closets are super large. The backyard is huge and there's a swing set. There were many extra touches and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

The property was just ok. It smelled good due to a lot of air fresheners but you can tell it hadn't been stayed in or cleaned in a while. The major safety issue was the third bedroom with the bunk bed. Upon going to sleep on the first night my friend went through the mattress. Apparently there is only one bar across the entire bed so if you sit on the corner or just push down on the mattress with your hand you will fall through the bed to the ground. The top bunk bed was also not safe as the bar on the side could be moved and couldn't prevent you from falling over.

This is very weird to us. We have had guest in there weekend before you n several prior, for you to say nobody has been there. We strive to keep it clean and pleasant as well as to meet visitors needs. You had ask for password well into your stay but mentioned nothing about being unhappy. That's unfortunate because it gave us no chance to understand your complaint. I went in after your visit and failed to see your reasoning. I did see the single board screwed to bed frame under box spring. That has been addressed but in was still in tack for you to say your friend fell thru it, made it sound very bad. tho i do thank you for bringing it to our attention. My nephew had put the new bed together and I nor he was aware a 2nd board was needed. Again thank you. I do hope you enjoyed your visit to our town. Take care.
