Guestbook comments from the owner

"Once again we had a wonderful time in your beautiful home and surroundings! Summer temps and cool nights allowed us to be on the outstanding beaches, see seals in Chatham and get to many places not seen in years. Of course your deck and the changing landscape left us anxious and excited to see what had changed overnight and was beaming in the sunshine. Still warm enough to use the outdoor shower which is one of our favorite things about staying here."

Relaxing Getaway in a Comfortable, Clean, Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay! The house was a wonderful "home base" for our group of 6 adults traveling to the Cape for our friend's wedding. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the wildlife sanctuary. The location was very private, quiet, and convenient to a variety of amenities. The owner was so kind and incredibly easy to work with. This was our first VRBO experience and he explained each step of the (very easy) process clearly and answered all of our questions quickly. As shown from the property itself to his approachable demeanor, it is clear that he takes great pride in his home. We were truly treated as welcomed guests throughout the entire process. We would love to come back!

Wonderful summer in Cape Cod

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time to spend the summer in the US and thanks to Craig, we enjoyed our stay very much in his lovely " Beach House". From the first mails onwards we felt a "warm welcome" and being in good hands - Craig was very responsive and supportive in helping us with the procedures when being guests from Europe which gave us great comfort.

The house is spacious ( 6 adults and 3 little kids) and was very well equipped, so we felt like being home from the first day. Waking up with the lovely marsh views was the best way to start the day! Craig has a collection of useful information like restaurant recommendations or activities which we had fun to follow. Many thanks for a wonderful stay- hopefully we will come back.

Perfect house for a family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for our first trip in Cape Cod. It was everything I dreamed of. We were a big family of 9 (from 1 yrs old to 63!!!) and we had enough space for everybody. The house was very clean and in good condition. We were also pleased with the outdoor shower.

The local beach was perfect for our kids. But also, it was so calm and peaceful that it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. We also went to Cold Storage Beach in Dennis. This was a very nice beach with bigger waves and more crowdy.

The location is perfect for someone who want to explore the Cape.

We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted and we are looking to come back next year!

Fantastic house - highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great house - nicest house our group of 8 has stayed in on the Cape! Lots of room for all of us - beautiful bedrooms, big dining room table, plenty of space outside on the deck, lots of room for multiple people to be working in the kitchen. When we arrived, everything was clean, open, airy. It's tranquil and near the end of a very quiet street. Beach is a pleasant 5-minute walk through conservation land. Marshy beach was a nice place for the kids to swim. Bigger beaches do require a drive (we went to Craigville Beach one day; about 20 minutes). House is also about 1.5 miles from Barnstable Village with market, library, shops - easy drive there (or it can be walked or jogged). Owners were extremely kind and responsive, and have created a wonderful place for a Cape vacation. Highly recommended!!
