Great house with cleanliness in need of improvement

We were guests in Kelvenec for two weeks. Positive first: The house is lovingly furnished, there is nothing missing to spend a longer vacation there and for the most part the house is as stated in the description. The house is located in a very clean and nice looking neighborhood of De Panne. So far so good However, there were garbage bags in the garden (from previous guests?) which we had to dispose of at our own expense. Unfortunately, we were only informed after arrival that the water tap in the kitchen was not working - we had already found this out. During the entire two weeks there was supposedly no plumber available to repair the tap. Most of the crockery and cutlery was accordingly dirty and had to be cleaned first. We also had to clean the dishwasher and washing machine before they could be used properly. The washbasins and mirrors in the bedrooms were uncleaned, although a cleaner was supposed to come once a week. And one day before departure, we were informed that the cleaner was not available for the final cleaning and that we should vacuum the entire house.

En entrant dans la maison, on se sent un peu comme chez soi. C'est une habitation familiale truffée de jeux, de livres, de matériel à dessin. La déco y est cosy et bien choisie. La cuisine est parfaitement équipé de belle vaisselle. On trouve un lavabo dans chaque chambre, ce qui est un plus car c'est là que l'on prend plus de temps ! Comme la salle de bain ne comprend qu'une douche, c'est très appréciable lorsqu'il y a la file ! ;-) Le jardin est un grand plus (Bien clôturé, bien équipé en mobilier, espace de parking) Quelques petits conseils ont été transmis au propriétaire qui les a accueillis avec amabilité. Nous reviendrons !

Wundervoll!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, das Haus hat alles was man sich wünschen konnte. Holzböden, ein tolles Sofa, eine Einrichtung wie aus dem Ikea-Katalog. Der Garten war super! Viele nette und nützliche Kleinigkeiten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in Kelvenec Urlaub machen. Danke!

Séjour à LA PANNE

Logement de charme agréablement aménagé et très bien situé par rapport au centre et à la digue. Tout est fait par le propriétaire pour que le séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Parking autorisé dans le jardin ce qui, à la Côte Belge, est un atout supplémentaire. Adresse vraiment à conseiller.
