Le Petit Bijou - The New Little Jewel of Coral Bay


Welcome to Le Petit Bijou located on the east facing edge of Quaco Zimmerman on beautiful St. John. This newly constructed Caribbean villa is Coral Bay’s newest gem. Le Petit Bijou is a St. John retreat designed for one or two, perfectly appointed for guests desiring panoramic sunrise to moonrise views, luxurious touches and simple pleasures, with easy island-road access.

Constant trade wind breezes and the sound of the surf can be heard from anywhere in the house. Le Petit Bijou is situated on the lower level of the villa (the upper level living quarters are used by the owners, who are never in residence when the villa is rented). Native stone steps lead you to your private entrance, king en-suite and separate living, kitchen and dining area connected by a covered breezeway and balcony. The living area has a special treat -- a large, original, wall mural by local artists from Sloop Jones Studio.

In addition, located on the upper level of the villa, enjoy the expansive 1200 square foot private patio and pool all to yourself — designed for covered patio lounging, sunbathing poolside, stargazing or full moon picnic. This patio area is the perfect setting to treat yourself to an outdoor massage overlooking the Caribbean blue waters of St. John’s East End and the British Virgin Islands.

All the simple pleasures are at your fingertips... wifi, cable TV, full kitchen, UV filtered water throughout, outdoor grill, beach chairs, pool use towels, beach towels, beach coolers, beach umbrella, beach bag, snorkel gear, bedside reading lights, games, indoor and outdoor dining options, air conditioning, washer/dryer and whole house back-up generator in case of power outages.

While the island is very safe, we are committed to protecting the security of the property and our guests. Outside cameras located on the perimeter of the villa monitor the parking area, the front entrance to the property, the steps leading to the guest living area, and the path going to the pool patio.

The villa is located a short car ride from some of the world's most beautiful, sandy beaches as well as casual and fine dining.

I was thrilled to celebrate my honeymoon at Le Petit Bijou, the little jewel. This was our first trip to St. John, and it was truly paradise. We loved having all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed lounging on the pool deck, relaxing with a book, taking a nap, and exploring all that Coral Bay has to offer. The fresh fish and kabobs from Calabash Market were a treat, and perfect for the grill. I can't say enough good things about this stay. The hosts and Dena (property manager) were incredible, making the planning process very easy and the stay extremely enjoyable and stree-free.

This villa is well named and was a joy to stay in. The view was fabulous the location is on the quiet side of St. John. The property manager and her son were friendly to deal with and very responsive. The accomaditions were excellent and perfect for a couple getaway.

Beautiful place!

Had a fantastic stay at Le Petit Bijou. Place was even better than the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. Spent time at the upstairs patio swimming, watching the boats go by and just soaking up the view. Could not have asked for more! Cannot wait to return.

Amazing in every way

My wife and I enjoy going "somewhere warm" in late winter, but until this year have stuck to cruises and resorts. We decided that we wanted to see and experience more of these beautiful islands than the excursions or the shops around the ports could offer, so we decided to do our first home rental. We chose St. John, and Coral Bay in particular, because of the quiet relaxed vibe and the recommendation of friends that have been here. When I found the listing for Le Petit Bijou I knew where we were going to stay, even if it looked to good to be true. I can't say enough about the property, it's exactly as described. There were so many beautiful details we were still finding them at the end of our week, and I'm sure there's some we missed. Everything you need to create your own adventure is included with Le Petit Bijou; coolers, chairs and snorkel equipment for your beach days, and everything you need in the kitchen for dinner night at home. I say home with no quotes, because by our second night that's what it felt like, even if just for a short time. The waiting was the hardest part. Once Dena contacted us before our arrival we immediately relaxed, knowing the answer to any question we had was a phone call or text away.If you know what island time is you will certainly find it here. More information would have been helpful

Property excellent. However, we were not informed that the one road leaving from Coral Bay would be closed from 5AM till 11 Am on our last day due to an annual road race. This meant we would miss our scheduled flight from St Thomas. We, therefore had to leave the paid for property a day early and pay extra for a hotel room in St Thomas. If we had been pre-advised, we would not have scheduled our stay to include the final day.

A week in paradise

From start to finish, our stay at Le Petit Bijou was simply amazing. Dena met us there when we arrived, showed us around the property, and made sure all of our questions were answered. She was accommodating, helpful, and responsive both before and during our stay.My husband and I were visiting St. John for the first time, and this house provided us the perfect place to return each day after our adventures! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and all of the necessities were thoughtfully provided. I loved how the sitting area and kitchen were separated from the bed and bathroom area! And having access to the upper deck was just wonderful. We spent a lot of time up there, starting our days there with morning coffee and ending our days there with evening cocktails! The views were outstanding. We would like to thank our hosts for sharing their beautiful St. John getaway with us. It was a week in paradise that we will never forget!

Amazing view with a large pool

We loved staying here. The pool and the multiple patios were amazing. The pool desk has an amazing view as well as the bedroom and living room. It was different to have a separate room but it worked out great. The electricity kept going out in Coral Bay but thankfully this place had a generator and never had any issues. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Great location and would stay there again!

One week in paradise

My wife and I had a marvelous week at this beautiful, well-maintained property. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed -- and we especially enjoyed grilling salmon every evening on the outside grill. Deena met us at the property upon our arrival the first day and was very gracious and helpful. Although distant from the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay, we found that the famous north shore beaches were quite accessible. We would definitely visit this property again.

Wonderful!

Eveything about Le Petite Bijou is a class act. The gorgeous photos accurately present the beautiful setting, superb views, artistic touches and lovely furnishings. The attention to detail and communication are terrific. We loved the proximity to the Calabash and Dolphin Markets so there was no need to return to Cruz Bay. The restaurant selection is slim in the Coral Bay area but we’re not objecting to repeat visits to Skinny Legs and Miss Lucy’s! Dena was amazing, always immediately available to answer any questions or concerns. A relaxing week in a little piece of paradise!
