Beautiful in the woods little place! Nice state park close by and a couple of lakes to swim in that weren’t too far either… the lake we were on was quite, hardly any others on/in the lake… that would be mine only complaint is that the swimming area isn’t the best for actual swimming… other then that beautiful place.

Linda was such a pleasure to meet and to have show us around this amazing property. We have rented many cottages in New Hampshire, and never have we had a more hospitable host! Thank you so much Linda! We really appreciated the attention to detail to ensure guests have a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We made good use of the kayaks and fire pit. The supplies you offer were actually stunning to see there- and cannot wait to come back!

Quiet and Secluded

We took a trip here on a holiday weekend and still only saw one other family. Very quiet and secluded and Linda was wonderful

Perfect Getaway

The cabin is clean and well stocked. The hosts were extremely attentive and made us feel welcomed. The pond is great for kayaking and fishing. Close enough to Keene and Great hiking nearby.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We will define visit again. The kids had a blast, the cabin was stocked with every amenity possible and the pond was peaceful. Brad and Linda are incredible hosts!

Secluded, Quiet retreat

Great location if you wanted a quiet lake and outdoors. Brad and Linda were great and thought of every amenity required on a vacation. Will be back again.

A wonderful secluded gem

We stayed here 4 nights and loved it. We basically had the lake to ourselves the entire time, and we were there on labor day. If you're looking for fishing, kayaking, grilling, time in the woods, and relaxing ... it doesn't get better than this. Brad and Linda were wonderful hosts as well.

Lakeview

Property owners very nice, house cozy and clean. Lake was quite great for fishing and kayaking. If you love to take pictures of nature and wildlife this is the place to be.

Cozy cottage on secluded pond

We were delightfully surprised how much we loved this cottage. We enjoyed the fishing, kayaking and especially the fire pit. Linda and Brad were very hospitable. If you want to be on a secluded pond in the middle of a pine forest, then this is the place for you.

Great camp

Private wooded shady retreat camp with good fishing and very kind hosts. If your going to fish for bass firetiger colors brighter the better even for soft plastic twitch baits.

End of Summer Getaway

Overall our stay was pleasant, fun amenities for yard and water. They had it all. Cottage stocked with all items you may need to cook at home. Bedrooms very comfortable. Hosts very accommodating with our pets.

Blueberry Cottage

The scenery and ambiance of the property won us over right away. Slept on the veranda with the windows open, listening to the wildlife and waking to the views of the lake. Was a great place, sorry it was so chilly in the mornings…can’t do much about the weather :)

Peaceful!

A peaceful cottage by the water. A great spot for kayaking, fishing and canoeing. The cottage is very well equipped and activities for rainy days. The beds and seating are comfortable. The view from the porch is nice.

Beautiful scenery

Relaxing place away from it all. We attended. Music festival for two days so it was nice to come back to a serene place to unwind and regroup

We had a good time. The place is extremely clean, and peaceful. It was nice that it was pet friendly and we could bring our dog. The pond really wasn’t for swimming and the kids were disappointed. We tried some fishing and the second day out on the canoe we did catch some small perch. The pond was really low and only a few feet deep. It’s a great place for peace and quiet.

Perfect lake getaway!

Blueberry Cottage is the perfect place to unwind by the lake. The cottage was well stocked and equipped with everything you could possibly need. So much to do right on the property. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and fishing right off the private dock. We enjoyed bonfires every night and really appreciated having firewood there and ready to use. We will surely be back!

Staying with nature

The hosts are excellent! It’s a very well-stocked place they thought of everything What a great property that sits right on the lake. There are lots of wildlife to see chipmunks and squirrels even beavers. Plenty of water toys and excellent kayaking and canoeing on the lake what a beautiful place! And we can’t forget the great fire pit hope to come again soon! Thanks so much!

Fantastic tune

We had an amazing time with our puppy. Fishing, motor boat, kayaking. Perfect weather. Home was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed the outdoors, views and fire pit. Linda and Brad are gracious hosts. We WILL be back if you want to enjoy the out doors. This is a must.

A touch of Serenity

Linda was wonderful in her review of the property and was very accommodating in all aspects of our stay. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable including the mattress. We enjoyed the lake and a little fishing. The area is very nice and we did some exploring. It was very quiet and we rarely even saw anyone while we were on the lake. We hope to return in the spring or summer. Many thanks to Linda and Brad

Dark and dreary and junk yard

We left the next day and returned to our beautiful well kept backyard and home that provided much comfort. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed with VRBO it was totally disgusting

Thank you for your review. We are doing what we can to improve on waterfront. Rowboat which is junky has being removed from site. Sailboat which is not being used has been put on pond, Electric cords for charging trolling motors have been rolled up and water hoses for pumping out boats after the frequent rainstorms and pump rolled up and stored. We had not realized how this could look so thank you for your feedback. Your feedback has also made us realize that we need to reframe our description on VRBO. For some of our guests, Blueberry Cottage has been a beautiful experience. But it is somewhat rustic and people come mostly for the boating and fishing and to enjoy nature. Since you were looking for a more refined experience, it makes us realize that we need to be clearer about what we offer so that someone expecting the more refined experience will realize up front it is not the place for them. That being said, should you change your mind and want to give us another try, we will be happy to provide you a free weekend when one is available to make up for the disappointment you felt.
