This is a great place for a vacation in Anchorage. The location is convenient to many sites in Anchorage. It was clean & spacious in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was confortable. Janelle was great to work with. She answered quickly to all my questions. I would stay here again next time I visit my son.

This was the perfect spot for us being near people we were visiting in the area. It’s roomier than it looks in the pictures and the sofa bed is actually comfortable! You do get some noise from upstairs neighbors but mostly it’s just kids walking or running. There was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for our two-week stay, as well as having a way to do laundry was important on such a long trip. We would definitely stay again!

The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to all things to do. The bed was cozy and the host made sure to have everything stocked that a person might need while vacationing. Communication with the host was easy and consistent. The best part was the mama moose and her twins that stayed around the yard the 1st three days we were there. It was awesome!

Great place to stay

The property location was simple to get too and seemed centrally located for the things we did. The host has the property well stocked and there was a Fred Myers (grocery) Store just up the road and they have everything and very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

I visited for business and the hotels were over $400/night, so VRBO! This place is comfortable, better bed than most marriotts, has washer dryer and kitchen. Very close to airport and and easy hop to local attractions. I highly recommend it.

Pleasant

Location was ideal, close to everything. There was a safe place to walk with the dog to a little creek and park close to the apartment. If you have a dog who doesn't like stairs this made it a little difficult getting him down. Going up was not a problem for him:). Overall nice base camp when buying supplies to go back to the village for the school year.

Unique property. Large wooded yard and back of culdesac was perfect for our travel plans. Especially with a dog. Surrounding area was great for walks. The bathroom/laundry was a bonus Wonderful food options, grocery store nearby, and as a chef the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. If you choose there are lots of restaurant options within walking distance. The only downside was most indoor lighting was very bright, fluorescent, which was a challenge

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

For us, it’s the perfect launch point: close to everything you need, yet comfortable and private enough to truly unwind at the end of the day. We wanted to create a space that makes exploring Alaska simple, seamless, and stress-free.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What sets this Anchorage property apart is its combination of intentional design, prime central location, and true “home base” functionality. Unlike many short-term rentals that feel purely transactional, this lodge is thoughtfully renovated and carefully equipped to serve as a comfortable headquarters for your entire stay. The fully stocked kitchen, dedicated washer and dryer, Apple TV setup, fast WiFi, board games, and outdoor fire pit aren’t afterthoughts, they’re purposeful amenities designed to make longer stays, family trips, and work travel seamless.

Its central location is another major differentiator: just 15 minutes from the airport, 8 minutes to the U-Med District, and minutes from shopping and highway access. You get convenience without sacrificing privacy.

Most importantly, it’s hosted with intention. The space is maintained with care, responsiveness, and pride so guests don’t just have a place to sleep, but a reliable, comfortable retreat after a full day of Alaskan adventure.
