Great location, clean and good maintained place. Clean heated pool and jacuzzi. Right place for the money. We truly enjoyed our stay with our three daughters 4, 8 and 9 years old. Highly recommend for families with little kids.👍

Wonderful stay

Check in could have been easier if was known about the closed gate and how to get in, was not given a code to get in the gate. There were a few things that could have been fixed. Over all the stay was wonderful and we will be back.

The condo had an amazing view of the ocean. The main bedroom had no curtains or privacy in front of the window to the balcony but other than that the location was perfect especially with the private access to the beach.

Disappointing Stay

The property is in a great location, right on the beach. But the condo is old, in terrible shape and needs repairs ASAP. The building looked nice, but only one elevator worked and it was stifling hot. We were on the 13th floor, so walking up and down is not ideal.

Great for the price!

It’s a clean place to stay, it has comfortable beds, and a great location for getting to the beach. The pool and property are fantastic. The unit itself is old, you can tell it needs a lot of updating, there’s carpet in a majority of the unit which just isn’t ideal for a beach unit honestly, there’s obvious wear and tear on the walls and all around the ceilings. But once again, for the price it’s a great spot. It was clean, some of the universal upholstery had a lot of stains but really, it was fine. Mid place for mid price. I wouldn’t return to this unit specifically due to just lack of update and it being on the upper floors. The property is fantastic though and if the unit were updated we would absolutely return.

Outdated and not a nice condo!

I will never never rent this place ever! The furniture was not clean, the second shower didn’t work! The main shower leaked! The shower curtain had white stuff all over it! The he headboard in the master bedroom was disgusting! It had carpet in almost all of the condo! Everything looked like someone dumpster divid and got all the furniture and essentials out of it! Big gap in the door so all the bugs came in! We came with a group of people and everyone else’s condos were really nice! So I would stay again as long as the fix the elevators! That was a huge problem! We were on the 13th floor and had do bring our luggage up and was not happy!

Almost inhabitable

As a travel agent, I read reviews daily. Typically if people say 'WORST EXPERIENCE EVER' I assume they're exaggerating and throw it out, but this is no exaggeration, I have NEVER stayed somewhere {for even half the price!} as terrible as this rental. I'm going to assume the owner hasn't been to the unit recently {maybe ever?} because it's almost inhabitable. It's 100% worse than anywhere I stayed, even in college. Shame on Vacasa for even managing this property, apparently they have no minimum standards. Water damage, missing baseboards, rust, clogged drains, water fixtures falling off the tub, random screws where things used to be on the walls, a paint job a toddler could beat, daylight under the door, a floor so gross I wouldn't even let my kids take their shoes off for. If my kids hadn't already fallen asleep {in the bedroom with no light?!}, I considered just sleeping in our car. SO, SO BAD! Do yourself a favor a get a room at the Holiday Inn for less than half the price. The owner of this unit should be ashamed for what they are charging. Aside from the unit, the security is a mess and the parking could use instructions, but the view is great. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Needs a lot of updates.

We’ve been going to Edgewater for over 20 years but this has been the oldest, most out of date condo we’ve stayed at. There has been obvious water damage in both bathrooms where the cabinets are warped, but they’re just painted over. There’s a lot of mismatched paint spots around the entire condo. The door threshold is gone so the AC is constantly running. It was so hard to open the balcony door. And the patio furniture was SO RUSTED and nasty we couldnt enjoy sitting outside. I would not let my kids sit in them or even touch them. The condo is very dark and needs more lighting. The blinds in the den didn’t close and the blinds in the master bedroom did not close all the way so there was no sleeping in. We could only use 1 of the bathrooms shower because the other was only freezing cold water coming out or scolding hot water. There was no warm water at all. And in the master bathroom, the faucet in the bathtub was almost falling off. None of the bathroom sinks drained that well. This unit needs a complete overhaul before I would rent this specific condo again. I love Edgewater as a property but would not stay in this unit again.

Could not have been more disappointed

It was awful! Missing blinds, the outdoor table and chairs were so rusty we were afraid to sit there! Both sinks in master bath were backed up! Painting looks like it was done by a toddler! Cabinets is master bath were crooked. No outlet cover in master bedroom! Doors broken! I reported all of this and sent pictures to Vacassa the first hour we were there and they did absolutely nothing! Called again 5 days later and they refunded cleaning fee! They had 5 days to fix the blinds and sink and nothing was done! My husband tried to fix the blinds but there were too many missing so no sleeping in on vacation because the sun was coming in our room at 7am. The bathrrom sinks wouldn't drain and that was disgusting. I asked for further compensation but just kept getting the run around that they are going to pass infirmation on but after 2 days I gave up. I even sent them pictures the first day! Very disappointed and totally frustrated! This unit should not be rented out until blinds, sinks and outdoor table is at least sanded down and painted or replaced! I will be telling everyone I know about our experience. I feel like it was false advertisement.

This property is super nice located directly on the beach. Nice pool and fitness facility. The particular unit we stayed in could use lots of updates and honestly we were disappointed in that specific unit. Would stay at this property again, just a different unit

Would definitely stay again. Main issues was with a Vacasa. They sent us the wrong door code and Wi-Fi password. Was on hold a long time trying to get help, out in the cold and wind. Vacasa also doesn’t provide a gate key so anytime you go out and come back you must get out and go into the office and sign in to get them to open the gate. The home was nice. Had everything you could need. Pros: The view was beautiful and access to the beach was convenient. Hot tub and pool were nice and clean. New appliance. Master bed was comfy. Water was hot and good pressure. Basic toiletries provided. Overall it was a very nice stay. Cons: No outdoor patio light. Front door deadbolt was a little janky. Blinds were broken so you couldn’t open them.

The place was ok except that there were few things that were advertised which were not available. The heated pool was not available for use, the coffee maker was not cleaned, rusty and old, broken plastic curtains, no light at the balcony at night, electrical outlets not working or without cover, furniture needs cleaning and carpet floor needs cleaning. The place needs some upgrade. Overall, we tried to enjoy our stay!

Overall stay was fine except for few things to improve on like cleanliness, some electrical outlets were not working or had covers, the heated pool was not available for use, coffee maker was old, dirty and rusty, sofas need cleaning or freshen up, for a week stay it would be nice that trash bags, paper towel and bathroom tissue were provided enough during the stay, no balcony light and the plastic curtain were not working property. The place needs some upgrade.

Property Review
