Great stay at the castle!

I recently stayed at the castle for New Year’s Eve with some close friends. We all said this is by far our favorite rental. The place is huge!! We had plenty of room for 10 guests to sleep and the living room and dining room all comfortably fit us as well - not something you always find with rental houses! The castle is tucked away so you feel nicely isolated but also close by to some cute towns. Highly recommend staying here!

Wedding

Jonathan was so kind and generous to let us host our wedding on his beautiful property. He helped us out and was very responsive and checking in constantly to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for being a huge part of our big day!

Amazing

The castle exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do it justice, both the exterior and interior were immaculate. Perfect setting for our murder mystery game! The decor was beautiful and transported you back to a medieval setting while the updated appliances, space and game room kept you grounded in the present. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with the master suite being something you'd only think to conjure in a dream. We were beyond delighted to be able to stay for the weekend, and definitely did not want to come back to reality.

The Castle

We stayed at the Castle for the Super Bowl weekend 2023 and had an absolute ball the Castle was just as described, A Castle with Knights and all. We enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard where we lit a fire In the outdoor fireplace we barbecued and had a fantastic time. Jonathan, Our host was just a phone call away I only had to call him once and that was just regarding the lockbox. There was no need to call him any other time because everything in the house was just perfect. Everything we needed was right there. Thanks again Jonathan we will be returning.

Medieval Times Meets Modern Day

So we decided to go on a last minute weekend getaway before another summer wrapped up and it was a great time! We were unfamiliar with the area and Jonathan had the patience to recommend several amazing activities where we could keep the little ones entertained (ages 3 mos to 5 years old). We also had so much fun in the castle relaxing. The kids were able to go on countless "adventures" which kept them really busy. Kids busy meant adults rest LOL Ultimately the castle was an amazing choice where we didn't have to get on a plane to get away on a fantasy adventure. The kids keep asking when we'll get to go back to the castle and told them hopefully soon maybe for Christmas (fingers crossed). Thank you again Jonathan for such great hospitality!!

Castle VRBO!

This was a very unique VRBO, we needed a house to accommodate 3 families for a baseball tournament and thought this would add some fun to the weekend. It sure did! It seems like it is still a little bit of a work in progress but it is getting there. The added element of castle feel made up for some of the works in progress or things that will need attention, but I can see that it will get there.

Great house!

My mother has always loved castles. She could not believe when I came across this house. We just had to stay and kick something off her bucket list. It could not have been more perfect. Jonathan was an amazing host. Everything about this trip made my mom's weekend. If we are able to do it, we would definitely go back! The kids had a blast in the gameroom!
