First family holiday abroad with our little girl
Lovely property. My wife and I stayed for a week with our 14 month old daughter. We arranged to meet Jaume, Karin’s husband who took us to the villa. The process was very smooth and he was lovely. The pool was slightly too cold for our daughter but was otherwise lovely. Very clean with all essentials. Very quiet and peaceful place. Great local shops and food. Old town Porta Pollença and the beach areas were lovely. Market on Sunday in the old town was lovely and restaurants at the coast were fab. Strongly recommend La Cabana. Only issue was the tight road you drive on to get to the villa but otherwise it was fine. Will definitely look to return to the area and maybe with friends next time.
Seclusion, space and an amazing pool
An excellent villa - very clean and modern on the inside but retaining the charm of a Mallorcan farmhouse on the outside. There's a lot of space, even for 4 people. It's set in a quiet and secluded location in a nature reserve, so you definitely need a car and insect repellent. The agents are pleasant and helpful, and show you to the villa from a meeting point in Pollenca. As well as all of this, the pool is one of the best at 12m long and salinated (6%, so it doesn't taste salty) rather than chlorinated, so no stinging eyes.
Wonderfully relaxing and beautiful surroundings.
An absolutely stunning villa and a huge pool. We arrived a bit later due to a flight delay but Karin was really helpful and worked around the delay, meeting us at an arranged place to take us to the villa.
The villa is set in grounds with electric gates and is very private.
All the rooms are spacious and contemporary in design.
The outside space is huge and the pool is the best one we have come across in a 4/5 person villa. It was gorgeously warm enough to get straight into and many a day was spent in it!! Lots of wild birds could be seen and a highlight for us was being in the pool and the Swallows diving down to get a drink.
We loved every minute of our holiday here and will definitely try to return. The only thing we did find the villa needed was a bit more storage for food but it really wasn’t a problem as we just took a few saucepans out to make room, A fan would have been useful in the lounge in the evenings as it was very hot but the bedrooms were gorgeously cool and the mosquito nets were a great addition.
The showers were great and the views from the upstairs were stunning.
Definitely our favourite villa to date!
Thank you Karin and Jaume for a wonderful holiday.....we have loved staying here and thank you for being so helpful.
A hidden gem
I am reluctantly giving this holiday home a 5 star rating - only reluctantly because I don't want everyone to know about it and it forever be booked up for our next stay ! It was an amazing hideaway in the Majorcan countryside, it felt like you were miles away from anywhere but shops and restaurants were only a short car ride away so we really did have the best of both worlds. The best Villa we have been to in the most perfect location. The owners are very nice and helpful. Gluten and dairy free is also very good in Majorca, both in the supermarkets and in the restaurants. We will certainly be going back.
Wonderful! Peaceful and tranquil.
What a wonderful place this is! Very clean and modern with a great size pool. You would definitely need a car if you were staying here but that said its only a short drive to Pollenca and Puerto de Pollenca. It was just what we wanted. The weather in October was amazing and it was so relaxing just hearing the birds singing and watching the mountains change colour as the sun set. Bedrooms were spacious and the showers were great with plenty of hot water. We BBQ'd in the evenings and also drove into Pollenca where we had delicious food in La Fonda which was recommended. Perfect in every way.
Brisa de mar August 2017
We had a wonderful holiday here. The house was immaculate and in a lovely, private setting. A beautiful big pool which is unusual in a two bed property. Great to have essentials like oil, salt, bin bags etc etc as soon as we arrive. Would definitely like to stay again.
The villa Brisa de Mar is located just a few minutes from the Port of Pollensa and Pollensa.
The old town of Pollensa is probably one of the prettiest and most traditional towns in the north of Mallorca. Idyllic the place lies at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. which a few years ago the status of World Heritage received due to its specificity. You can place Pollença enjoy any time of day: at breakfast in the coffee houses, shopping in one of the boutiques, gift and jewelery shops. There are a number of art galleries, museums as well as various restaurants around there for lunch or dinner, and to perhaps on the very pretty market square with a glass of wine cozy expire the day. The market on Sunday mornings fills Pollensa with color and life. In the narrow streets around the market you will find stalls selling a variety of products, very original and tasteful as the town itself. In the market place then you can apply for the week of fruits and vegetables as well as with typical Majorcan products, authentic culinary delights, stock up. Pollena also offers numerous delicatessen shops, with a large selection of these Mallorcan products. This gourmet stores also have your wine section, here you can find Spanish wines, the classics such as Rioja, Navarra, Ribera del Duero, Somontana, Rueda and then of course the "Mallorcan". Many are the wineries are now in Mallorca, there is according to the latest census at the moment about 70 wineries. Over the years, the island has developed into a high-quality wine region, the relative young wines are very popular, and who would like to entertain you directly at the winery the wine which has here in Mallorca countless ways, some of which are even in Pollensa and its environs. We are happy to introduce you to our "wineguides" is available.
The Port de Pollença with its fringed by pine beach promenade and the exclusive marina suitable for walks by the sea. There are also most diverse sports such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing (Hobbycat, catamaran sailing boat), jet skiing, water skiing and much more. And who like to 'shop' is: both Pollensa and Port de Pollensa offer a variety of shops and restaurants, the typical Mallorcan restaurant with fresh fish from the bay to more exotic Indian or Japanese restaurant. So you have the choice of traditional or exotic.
Cala San Vicente Pollensa is the closest bay. It is the jewel of the Pollensiner, beautifully situated on the bay is surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain range, overlooking the colorful Mediterranean and the emblematic mountain Cavall Bernat. Cavall Bernat was the subject of many local and international painters, from Mallorca's "Belle Epoque" beginning 20. Century, which in particular Pollensa and the surrounding area, the place and the people so very impressed with their art, their openness to the world, and at that time already modern views.
Pollença is worth a visit, there is much to discover. Many in the small town has made to the adopted country. Pollença experience and love!
