Farmhouse of character and charm

Charm and character are typical of the spacious house in typical Simmental timber-stalk. The farmhouse built in 1883, situated in a beautiful, quiet and sunny location.
It is partly renovated, is heated primarily with wood. These are two ovens (connected to stoves for the lower two rooms) as well as a wood stove on the first floor available in the kitchen. There are in the house, a renovated bathroom with electric heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has been 2013 renovated.
The house has two typical for this area arbors. Thus, it is possible to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner to taste in the shade or in the sun on the arbor.
In summer there is a pool available. However, the use of which the weather can not be guaranteed 100%!
The ideal house to come to rest and even to relax.
It is cozy and functional.
For smaller groups or one to two families (6-8 persons / max. 10 people), this house with 5 bedrooms, 1 living room and large kitchen (total 200m² of living space) enough space.
Windows are only partially new. In the bedrooms are still old windows installed (simple glazing). The house has a TV with DVD and VCR but no TV connection and also no internet!
The house is the ideal base in the Bernese Oberland, to explore the Alps.
It is the ideal starting point for excursions by car or train to Berne, Thun, Interlaken, Gstaad, Gruyere etc. to undertake.
The area is ideal for pass tours by motorbike, hiking, kayaking and paragliding.
Above the village is the paragliding launch site "Nässli", from where also longer flights are possible.
Legendary is the entry for kayakers in "Heidenweidli" no 5 min. away by car.
On foot you can reach in 1-1 ½ hours. Purring hole. An ideal excursion for the whole family.
The house is located on the Simmental House Trail - a network of hiking trails to historic wooden houses from Wimmis to Lenk. Good for stopping here and there and even bike rides. Countless trips by car are possible. We are happy to provide tips for things to do.
The house can be used with the entire inventory. 1000m² garden, portable grill, deckchairs, etc.
