This beautiful ground floor, Farmhouse Apartment, in the owners home. Contains 2 x bedrooms each bedroom with a double bed. 1 x bathroom with shower, a kitchen living dinning area, with your own private pergola with stunning view's. Free parking. Walking distance to Roundwood village where there are a number of restaurants, grocery shop, chemist, and pubs.
You are surrounded by an extensive variety of scenic walks in a lush, beautiful upland setting. Close to the Wicklow mountains, 238m above sea level, it is one of the highest villages in Ireland. Nestled in a quiet and peaceful area of Roundwood which is a haven for fans of outdoor pursuits, where you can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Close to Vartry Reservoirs with walking trails by the water.
With easy access to all towns and villages in Wicklow, including Glendalough Monastic Site only 11 minutes from the Farmhouse, and Dublin Airport 57 min (62.4 km/38.7 miles) drive.
It is a great area for touring, scenic walks, hiking, and cycling. It is a very peaceful environment.

Wonderfully comfortable apartment in a great location

Everything was great. The place is actually roomier than it appears in the listing, so that was a nice surprise. Lovely hosts, perfect location. We will return.

Perfect getaway

Was absolutely wonderful. A perfect oasis for rest and recharge. Chiquita is a kind and engaging host. The proximity to all of Wicklows adventures are an easy drive. A cup and a pint listening to sheep and smelling the new grass is priceless. Totally recommend this spot in our busy world. If luck has it a moment talking with Joe will make your evening complete. Cheers...enjoy!

Farmhouse apartment outside of Roundwood

Well kept, beautiful area, and Conchita was a lovely and accessible hostess. We had a great time - except for having to drive on the left side of the road!

Peaceful and beautiful stay!

Conchita's place is absolutely wonderful! It is nicer than the pictures show. The view was so beautiful! I enjoyed spending time here and felt very peaceful when I left. Conchita is a wonderful lady and host, very sweet and welcoming. This is also a great place to explore and enjoy Wicklow County also. Plan to stay again! Thank you Conchita!!

Mountain view

The apartment was very clean and well stocked with amenities. Beautifully decorated and cozy! It’s a working farm so I got to meet the working dogs and also the dogs that are their pets. Very friendly! The host was very friendly as well She was helpful with my questions.. The views are gorgeous! You have a table outside your apartment to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and relax with sheep grazing and a very quiet surround. Anne

Glendalough highlight

We enjoyed this place so much, we didn’t want to leave.The location is stunning - rural, quiet, with sheep grazing idly nearby. The place itself was spacious, and well-laid-out. Beds were comfy with great linens and bedding. Conchita was really easy to deal with and made sure everything was there for us. So many little extras - throw blankets, outside sitting area with night light strings -etc…. just made us feel at home. Round wood was so close, with amazing deli and restaurants. You feel like you are in your own little world, but it’s super easy to get anywhere. Thanks Conchita - we hope to return one day!

Pristine Beauty

Beautiful home in a pristine and pastoral environment. The first thing that we noticed when we entered the property are the well cared for grounds. Conchita was there to greet us and introduce us to the house. She was super helpful and friendly and was always available for questions or suggestions. The house is well designed and comfortable with comfy beds, warm blankets, a functional kitchen and all the kitchen ware we needed. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the house. The doors were heavy and solid so people with different schedules could co-exist in the same space without disturbing each other and mid-night trips to the bathroom didn't disturb. (that may be TMI but I find it very important in comfort level!) It was well situated for day trips and close to Roundwood (a bit of a walk but very do-able). Great food in Roundwood - don't miss the bakery with its delicious food - lots of gluten free and vegan options. The seed bread is delicious! Loved seeing the sheep and cows contentedly grazing from our window and watching the wild pheasants and other birds that visited daily. I would definitely stay here again!
