Unobstructed views of Clear Lake-Ventura and lake access in front of you. Remodeled home with inviting views of the lake, two family room areas with TVs, with a relaxing patio with wonderful views that sleep up to 12 people. Great family vacation location! Same-day bookings must be made by 12:00 pm CST to receive unlock code for check-in after 4 pm CST. Pull-out sofa sleeper is located in the living room to accommodate two people. Two, single air mattresses can be used in the family room for the 12-14th member of your party. The owner is a licensed Realtor in the state of Iowa.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels, and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all used linens in the laundry room. Return any moved furniture to original position, if moved. Empty refrigerator and bring trash containers to the curb for Tuesday collection.
Lock all windows and doors, and ensure garage doors are closed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests are asked to empty the frig and take the trash to the curb and start the dishwasher with all soiled dishes upon check-out.
Guests are asked to remove soiled linens from the beds and bathroom and place them on the floor in the kitchen upstairs or laundry room downstairs.
Same day book by 12 pm. Pets MAY be approved under 15 lbs and past host references for $25/night and an additional deposit.

Our stay in Ventura was a great spot for us and some of our friends to get together and enjoy a weekend at the lake. We loved looking out at the lake from the covered patio and being able to walk across the road to fish, as well as up the road for ice cream at the Viking ;) The house was comfortable and we appreciated all of the yard games they had available to so we could enjoy a relaxing weekend with friends at the lake.

We were in Mason City for the world aerobatic contest held at the airport for 8 days. This spacious home was absolutely perfect for our group. It had plenty of room and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The front covered porch was easily our favorite spot * ideal for enjoying early morning coffee while looking out over the water, sharing meals and relaxing after long days at the airport. Catching the lunar eclipse over the lake right from the porch was truly unforgettable. We would love to stay here again. Thank You !!!!

Great lakeview location! We enjoyed the lake views from the large windows and outdoor patio space. The car classic show drove right by the house the week we were there! Fun watching cars from the comfort of the patio. Our toddler and preschool grandchildren enjoyed the large yard and corner lot. Upstairs bathroom is updated with a beautiful tile shower. Host was attentive and available to communicate anytime we reached out throughout the week. Loved walking to the local ice cream shop.

Great place for the family

Great house that was plenty big for our family. Location was great and right across from the boat ramp, which made it easy for fishing. The front porch area was amazing. Great to be out there to Watch the sunrise and have dinners.

Lovely property!

The house was everything we needed and the bonus was the lake view. We spent a lot of time on the patio. The beds were comfy and the group commented on the wonderful showers. If we're ever in Clear Lake again, we would most definitely stay at this house!

Love this place!

Second year we have booked this lovely home in July and booked again for 2024. Beautiful view of lake, easy access to boat launch and the home is fully furnished and then some!! Highly recommend! Sherri is wonderful to work with!

The house was great. Clean & it had everything we needed. Kitchen well stocked. Nice patio that overlooks the lake. Plenty of seating inside & out. Beautiful view to enjoy while you are having your morning coffee on the patio. You are right across the street from the boat ramp so that's convenient too. We would stay there again !!

Better than the photos and description on the listing. Great location and view of Clear Lake! We had everything we needed and more. The entire house was very clean and nicely decorated. We had more than enough space! Great communication with Sherri before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property. Hope to stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

This lovely property with a great location across the street from the lake hosted my family (adult children) and grandson. Comfortable beds and extra room for everyone to sleep and 2 bathrooms with showers to accommodate our party of 10. We really enjoyed the patio/outdoor space in the mornings and evenings and made our way for beach and lake activities during the day. (we loved State Beach!) Sherri was great to work with and we were thankfully able to even add a day to our trip! Highly recommend! 😎
