The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away.

Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and there are plenty of shops and cafés.

A short stroll through these beautiful streets takes you right to the centre, with the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions.

Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line).

LIVING AREA

In the lounge there is 1 sleeper sofa, side table, designer rug and floor lamp, storage unit with complete audiovisual equipment and a ceiling-to-floor window over the street.

Its dining suite has an extendable table and seating for 5.

The master bedroom has 1 double bed, side-tables, lamps and a large closet. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, side-table and lamp, with sufficient closet space.

In the lounge, the sofa is converted into 1 double bed.

The bathroom has a full bath with shower, washbasin, WC.

KITCHEN

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the kitchen is also fully equipped with:

Refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, electric cooker and oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle, dishwasher.

The counter with bar stools is an additional space for dining.

Why Jose Antonio Rodriguez chose Dreta de l'Eixample

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing I need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that I like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the apartment as a my own home. Since them I have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later I decided to by four additional apartment in the same building and for the same reasons.

Nice apartment in convenient neighborhood

Nice apartment with convenient neighborhood services, including a 24 hour market, eateries and even a laundromat (in case you want to use a clothes dryer). All of the appliances worked and the rooms were cozy. Jose was there to greet us at the curb to the building and welcome us to the apartment. We spent 6 nights there, and had no complaints.

Comfortable pied-a-terre on quiet street

We were traveling with our three year old and found it impossible to find hotels which offered a true suite (ie. two full sized beds and a sitting area) without an exorbitant price. Jose's apartment allowed us not just a separate bedroom for my daughter but a full kitchen. We shopped at the local grocery and made ourselves breakfast each morning. Jose was a helpful and available host. Would highly recommend both him and his apartment.

Perfect location...quiet, clean and cool!

The apartment is ideally situated and is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Area is out of the main tourist areas but close enough to walk to them. It's about a 7 minute walk to La Sagrada familia and is close to two Metro stops (Tetuan and Girona). The owner (Jose) was very informative and was very thorough in providing information prior to our trip and when we were there. Our family of four were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay here immensely. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Clean

I loved staying at this apartment. I appreciated how detailed Jose was in the description and with explaining where we were in Barcelona. I loved the fact that there was air conditioning. There were times when Barcelona was too hot for me to handle. I loved that there were markets nearby, and the building is very safe. I would recommend this location to others.

Sunny modern apartment in Eixample

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (kids = 18 & 20 years old). Kitchen was well-equipped for our needs and it and the living area were bright and sunny. Bedrooms are smaller but beds are comfortable. Location is awesome. Quiet, safe neighbourhood with lots of places to eat and within walking distance (or convenient to subway system) for visiting all of the sites in Barcelona. Our host Jose was fantastic and communication was easy. He even helped us book a taxi to get to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.
