Your host
We are a couple from Santa Monica, CA with a teenage daughter and we've visited the Lagunamar often over the past decade or more. We've relaxed by the pool, taken long walks on the beach and swam in the warm Caribbean. We've enjoyed the restaurants - some walking distance, some a short bus ride - and we've explored the Yucatan, renting a car at the resort and driving south to Tulum an archeological site and artists community and to Chichen Itza, site of the 8th -12th century mesoamerican "step- pyramids". There is much to see and do and also much opportunity to do little or nothing. So, feel free to call us about our experience there. We are pleased to answer any questions you may have.
