A wonderful place to stay. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. Enjoyed all the amenities and the host was super helpful and communicated with me the whole time. The only downside was the stairs to the dock need repairs. Overall, a great experience and would definitely go back!

Chris and Kathy were great hosts. They gave exceptional customer service. The home was beautiful. They were available at all times to answer questions. The location is serene. My family loved all of the amenities. It is a very lovely spot not too far from Charlotte, but quiet and peaceful. We were a group of seven, celebrating our mom's birthday with a weekend getaway. Everyone left happy and really loved the home.

Awesome Stay For a Short Vaca

We stayed here as a girls/kids trip. We all had the best time and used almost every amenity. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The kids loved the game room and the adults loved that they had their own space. There are life jackets available for kids and adults to use. We swam and fished in the lake, and also used the paddle boards. Firewood was available for a camp fire. There are all kinds of items in the kitchen for use (coffee pods, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, spices etc...) Bathrooms have soap and sample bottles of shampoo and conditioner. There is a small gas station/convenient store about 10 minutes from the house. We went to Mt. Morrow and did some hiking. The house is about a 20 minute drive there. Overall, we would 100% recommend staying here. The hosts are very responsive and thoughtful with all the items provided for everyone to have a great, relaxing time!

Beautiful!

Our stay was great, very clean and the game room was perfect for the teen kids. The view is gorgeous and it is located on a quiet area of Badin. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay!!

The house was extremely clean and contained everything you could possibly need. The basement/gameroom was a huge hit and fun for all. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and made everything easy.

Sadly the family we were suppose to share the home with could not make it so hubby and I were there by ourselves, and the home was everything as advertised! Beautiful and well maintained. Clean and quiet. Perfect for all ages too! Had everything you could need for a wonderful stay!

Great family get away.

Beats expectations! The little personal touches and extras (tampons, kleenex, trash bags, etc), made it feel like they really thought about the people that would be staying there. Pinning your hometown on a map and avaliable life jackets made the property feel like home...even though it is way nicer than our home!

Relaxing time away

We very much enjoyed our time at A Spirited Retreat. I had everything I needed in the kitchen to cook dinner while we were there. The floating dock was very relaxing and we enjoyed watching football in the media room. Chris was very communicative when I had questions. It was a perfect place to meet our adult children for a weekend away.

Beautiful and Peaceful /this lake house had it All!

This property is amazing! The house was immaculate, and There was a room and something to do for everyone, my 14 16,and 22 year old stayed in the theater room most of our stay, plus there were so many board games and Jenga and card games , that wasn't even listed. Chris and Kathy were such great hosts, quick to answer any questions you may have. And the stairs were so tatally worth it . Me and my family loved this place, and would absolutely come back again!

Perfect Lake House

This was our second stay at a Spirited Retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The A/C maintained better than mine at home and the heat index was 98 while we were there. The home has a great entertainment area for teens and young adults on the lower level. The master bedroom on the main floor is fairly quiet even when teens are up late watching tv upstairs. The home is immaculate! Super clean! I cooked at least one big meal each day of our stay, and everything I needed in the way of dishes and gadgets was there. The master bath is to die for! I don't know if the rain shower or the soaking tub is my favorite! Our whole family used the one bathroom. Lots of nice big towels. The home is very close to the public boat ramp. It's THE best home on Badin Lake. The only downside are the steps to the dock, but if you want deep water like me (a fisherman) it's unavoidable. Just extra exercise! This place is perfect!

A spirited Retreat was a perfect house for my family during our recent vacation. The house has everything you will need to relax and stay entertained for the entire family. The host are also very attentive to any needs with excellent communication. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay on the lake.

Very enjoyable and relaxing place

Quiet location in the lake. The home was beautiful decorated and had all the supplies needed without stress. The fire pit was a perfect spot to end the night. The hosts were available to answer any questions I had and responded immediately. Made it a no stress vacation. Glad we found their home listing!

A beautiful lakeside retreat 5/5!

Had a fantastic stay at this spotless, well-appointed home. The master bedroom and bathroom comfortable and very spacious. The art is really tasteful and all the TVs and electronics seemed new and top-drawer. The outdoor patios are so scenic and peaceful. The dockside view of the lake is astounding. Our two grown sons stayed with us and really enjoyed the entertainment room in basement. We were deeply appreciative for this home as our son was being married in Albemarle during this stay - we wanted a comfortable and memorable place and this definitely fit the bill. Even better than advertised- thank you!

Great Getaway!

A Spirited Retreat is a wonderful place to getaway. Located in a quiet cove we had the lake to ourselves for the bulk of the week. When we wore ourselves out on the water the house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities of home including a pool table, foosball, video games, chess and a sweet theater set up. Not once did we hear our kids say they were bored! We will definitely be back as we can't recommend the place high enough.

Very clean and well maintained. Felt like home away from home

We loved the extras. Huge theater tv. Pool table, arcade (1000 games!). Great mattresses. Great kitchen fully equipped. Boat dock was fine and held our boat perfect. Close to Uhwarrie for UTV trails. Master bedroom could use some dark curtains to prevent guests from seeing in from deck. We will be back!

Awesome! Has it all.

This property is amazing! Super clean. Plenty of space. Fishing was good off the dock. Internet was better than at home for gamers. Beautifully decorated.
