Pet friendly cabin on 6 acres, near lakes

If you would like to book last minute (less than 24 hours from arrival) - message me directly and I can walk you through the steps if the cabin is available.

Please NOTE - if you are booking this cabin via any other website besides VRBO. You must create a VRBO account for all the check in details (including the entry code to enter the cabin). The entry code changes with each guest and can not be saved with the generic check in details that websites such as travelocity have. This is very important!

Quiet cabin to enjoy all the fun of camping, while having a warm shower, comfy bed, and kitchenette when you need a little more comforts than camping allows.

Pets are welcome! Outdoor shower with hot and cold running water, firepit, grill, and comfortable seating - with string lights for a nice warm glow at night.

Real dishes and utensils - HOWEVER we provide disposable as well to help you feel more comfortable with sanitation.

If you leave your pet(s) unattended on the property please crate them if you feel they will become stressed and damage property. Large open air crate available upon request.

6 acres of nature to explore, indoor shower, composting toilet, and stocked kitchenette.

Quiet Beautiful Woody Getaway

Great place for some down time. Nearby Lake Tejas was gorgeous to spend the day at. Cabin was clean and stay was nice.

Trip to the woods

We had a great time. The cabin is doing well. This was our third or fourth trip. My kids throughly enjoy the time we spend here.

Great Cabin!

Secluded, a great place to disconnect. Close to several national parks as well! Property was very clean, cabin has all the amenities (water, AC/Heat, kitchen) that make “roughing it” a lot easier. Host was very nice and even offered to bring by a space heater if we needed it!

Wonderful Getaway

Such a cute spot off the beaten trail. Had everything we needed and things we didn’t even think of. Super cute, super clean and the property manager was so efficient and helpful. Will def be making this a regular stay!!

Great place to getaway

It is a nice cabin in the woods. Very clean with all kind of extras. Once you have your food you don’t even have to leave the cabin. Everything is there for you, games, dishes, relaxation. I really enjoyed our stay

Another great Stay!

We love staying here. I say the same thing everything time. Lovely secluded little cabin, quiet but for the fireworks. Nice campfire on a cold night. We'll be back again.

Restful & Quite

Very cute, tiny farmhouse. Lots of throw blankets, soft bedding and great pillows. Good fire pit area, plenty of parking for boat. Nice drive to several different boating areas. We enjoyed!!

Peaceful Cabin

This was our second time visiting the cabin. We enjoy the opportunity to be outside and sit around the fire. Very accommodating and easy to work with.

The cabin is small. Perfect for a couple and one dog. It would be a cabin full with more. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Wonderful cabin to enjoy nature.

Very clean and cozy, you have everything you need in the cabin. The only thing we see is that if you travel with teenagers maybe is a bit small, we have 2 kids and the sofa was enough for them because they aren’t big. We love expend these days there!!!

Fun private getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication was great! We had a small issue with the air, and Donelle quickly offered us another one of their cabins. Our dogs loved the large area around the cabin to run around. Thanks again!

Perfect!

We loved this cabin in every way. All the details were so thought out and greatly enjoyed! Bed was super comfortable as well as outdoor chairs, hammocks, fire pit and wood. We walked and biked the area. We even had an umbrella to sit under when it started to rain. A special Thank you to the hosts 😊

New Year's Eve in the Woods

Donelle was a great host and very informative. Anytime I had a question, she was quick to respond. I had a great time here, spent some time grilling, sitting by the campfire and just hanging out with my dogs. Definitely could've stayed here longer but had to get back to work. Maybe next time for sure.

Wonderful weekend!

The cabin is quaint and comfy. Everything I needed was right there. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was amazing. It's just a few minutes outside of town, but felt like I was socked away in the deep woods. I plan to visit the area again in six months, and definitely will be staying here, loved it! The communication with the property manager was fantastic and very accommodating. I cannot say how many times how much I loved this little piece of heaven!!

Cute Cabin - Quiet Get away

The cabin was as described. My only comment would be on the bed. I am too old and too fat to be getting up off the floor. But we really enjoyed our stay. Despite all the rain. The owner responded promptly to any questions. Our phones got pretty good service out there. We didn't get attacked by any werewolves so that is a bonus.

Not what we excepted

At first glance we were happy since the place is nice and clean INSIDE. Will sleep 3 comfortably, if one of those people is a child. Definitely not 4. The listing shows WiFi, however as soon as you walk in there is a sign that says “do NOT connect your phone to the WiFi”. Also the toilet. It’s a composting toilet which means the waste just sits there (and smells) until the bag is changed out. These are things that should have been detailed out in the listing BEFORE booking. We wouldn’t stay here again. Also says card games which my son was excited anout : 8 cards each for 9-Ace, nothing else - how are you supposed to play a card game?

Great Cabin

We had a great time at the cabin. It was super great for us. The fire pit had to be highlight for us. The kitchen was super well equipped, I was nervous and brought way to much with me. We will certainly go back the next time we need a place to stay.
