Passionate about nature and mushrooms, Sylvie welcomes you to an atypical "seventies" residence, inspired by modernist "brutalist", located in a quiet area on a pleasant little perfectly maintained grassy "park", on the edge of a lane and a peaceful wooded meadow, in a peaceful residential area adjoining the center of the town (and its very famous "Ecomuseum of Bresse" nestled in a prestigious 17th century castle), a stone's throw from the bucolic surrounding countryside. Typical & full of charm, nestled on the first mountain foothills of the nearby Jura massif, in the hollow of the verdant bocage valley of the Doubs dotted with ponds & rivers, Pierre-de-Bresse benefits from a magnificent setting of gentle, unspoiled countryside (to explore during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides), combining agriculture & nature (including various areas protected in ZNIEFF for their fauna & flora riches), and has many amenities such as a very good level of sports & leisure facilities (fishing lake with ecological leisure center protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" / "sports course" & "Parkrun" / "Agorespace" etc.). Lovely "town" nestled in the heart of the preserved Bresse countryside, combining agriculture & nature (partly protected in "Zone Natura 2000" or "ZNIEFF" for their rich ecosystems) in the hollow of a vast bocage plain dotted with ponds & beautiful wild forests, very close to the banks of the Doubs (protected natural site, paradise for fishermen & kayakers as well as nature lovers), not far from the first mountainous foothills of the Jura massif. Ideally located on the routes of several marked hiking trails (vast network of hiking trails partly marked as "green walks" to discover in the area) & the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), 17 km from the Voie Verte de la Bresse Jurassienne, 17 km from the Voie Bleue adjoining EuroVélo6, 18 km from the "Voie du Tacot" cycle route (towards Beaune), 18 km from a referenced "35 km favorite bike loop", 21 km from the GRP de la Bresse Comtoise route (connected to the GR59), 32 km from the Voie Verte Bressane, 23 km from the river marina of Verdun-sur-le-Doubs (nestled at the confluence of the Saône & Doubs), around thirty km from the first vineyards of the Jura and about fifty km of the vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises as well as the famous Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune ("Jura Wine Route" & "Route des Grands Vins" extended by the illustrious "Route des Grand Crus" to travel).
