Your stay with us was the perfect ending to our summer season! We always feel so blessed when it is obvious that our guests both love and respect our cabin as we do. We know that you had rain (and LOTS of it) during your stay...but to hear you and your daughters had a lovely time anyway is wonderful. (I cracked up when she was missing from our yard this week and then, I look four doors down and can see her on your deck with her tail wagging full force getting her morning hello in!! She then would prance back home with a big old smile on her face, what a great way to start the day!) I so enjoyed chatting with you guys about life, the lake and how glorious our area truly is. We feel fortunate every single day that we wake up and are able to just "be" at the lake! Your family "got" what lake life is all about, (and you love Grannies as we do as well.!) (And yes, the Olympic Game Farm is always a hit, my own grown children still tell hilarious stories about the adventures they have had there!) We were listed as cute, spotless, cozy, comfortable and well stocked, as well as responsive as well as the views and deck are worth the fees. We do have a community dock and lake front, it appears one of the owners had a family reunion during your stay. That happens rarely, but is a possibility and an opportunity to get to know others who love the lake! We try to make it clear that the months of July and August (especially on the weeks when it hits 80 degrees, everyone wants to go to the lake! so it can be busy. ) The best time to be at the lake when a person wants solitude would be April, June and September/October. We apologize that we may not have made that clear. That said, we hope you were able to access a little of the magic the lake has to offer, it is there for everyone.

It was a little crazy with the all of the “interesting” local events popping up and everyone who wanted to visit the park etc. having to shift gears here and there.
