Eagle’s View on Mabel Lake!

Our home is newly remodeled with paneling in the lower level, and a new gourmet kitchen with granite counters, new appliances, and even under-counter lights. Clean, spacious rooms. Beautiful, natural rock gas fireplace on upper level. Lower level fireplace also, for your enjoyment. Our home has an open-floor concept where the dining area, kitchen, and upper living area open to a large 3-season porch where you can relax, or walk out to a large deck to hang out or dine. The deck stairs lead down to the a lower deck with a gas grill, and a sitting area. And the lower level walk-out leads to a hot tub, large yard , fire pit, and the lake area. Public boat access is available.

We had a great time. We had 8 women on a girls weekend, plenty of beds and lots of indoor and outdoor space. The Host responded quickly to questions. Nicely decorated and very homey.

What a great property. We had a great time. The house is great with plenty of space for all 9 of us. The lake is small, quiet, crystal clear and excellent for spending time in the water.Owners are excellent to work with.

We made priceless memories on this family trip for 3 generations! Able to keep toddlers & preschoolers entertained with the fishing and beach. The property was beautiful as well as very clean. Property owners were very responsive and timely with their response.

This property was exactly what we wanted. We took the canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat out on the lake. The pier was great to fish from, and the lake was quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor patio space. The inside of the house was exactly as described, and the recent renovations were very nice. The host was very receptive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back to stay again!

Family trip to Minnesota

Great place for your next family vacation

The house was a split level with a beautiful kitchen, sunroom, huge deck with a table/chairs to enjoy the views of beautiful Mabel Lake! The house was very accommodating with 4 separate bedrooms, 2 full baths, a canoe, kayaks, paddle board and hot tub! Such a beautiful place. We will definitely be back!

Northern Minnesota Oasis

My husband and I came up for a relaxing vacation & that is what we had. This property was in a perfect location for us. It's a beautiful home & property on a nice clear, quite lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the Loons & watching the Eagles fly by & hanging out on the dock watching the fish. We played some rounds of bags & really enjoyed the hot tub! It was everything we needed & so much more! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We can't wait to come back!

Relaxing

Had a relaxing stay. Very spacious cabin for family of 6. Enjoyed fishing on quiet lake, kayaking and paddle boat. Swimming beach was very nice at campground area. Enjoyed fire pit at night and hot tub. Will definatly return.

Eagle's View

House and grounds were beautiful and immaculate. Kitchen had all amenities, appliances were clean and plenty of dishes and cookware. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of extra bedding. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc. Check-in was easy and communication (if needed) with owner was prompt. Can't say enough about this property, only that I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Would definitely book again!

Nice outdoor space, great for kids

This place was great for our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids ages 3-10). The kids had a great time playing in the sand and swimming in the lake. The lake was a little weedy, but not too bad. We all enjoyed hanging out on the deck and in the yard, both of which are pretty large. We appreciated the little extras in the garage like the riding toys, sand toys, and inner tubes. We had a little trouble with the dishwasher and ice maker, but beyond that everything was great!

Nice, woodsy retreat...

All went well. The air conditioning needs to be looked at because it was set at 64 degrees and it was humid in the house. The dryer does NOT work. We didn't get to enjoy the lake or the outdoors. The mosquitoes were terrible. You have a BEAUTIFUL, LAKE VIEW, the hot tub was nice, and we had great visits. The bathroom shower upstairs was very small and tricky to maneuver in. Overall, a pleasant stay, but warm sleeping at night.

Hi Julie! Sorry for the delay in responding. I sent a response right away, but it didn’t go through on the app, so I had to contact vrbo. Anyway, thank you for visiting. I just wanted to address your concerns—. We have a guest book that gives instructions, but it was misplaced by the previous guest, and our new cleaning woman did not remember to put it back. The book gives instructions for the air conditioning, which is on a mini-split on the wall, upstairs and down. I wish you had contacted me, and we could have helped with this. We discovered when we went up there that you were trying to use the thermostat to set the a/c, but we do not have central air, so that is why it did not work. We also found that the dryer does work, all the towels and bedding were done by our cleaning woman after you left, so I think we will have to leave better instructions for users. Also, we had the property sprayed for mosquitos about a week before you came, but it had rained quite a bit since then. Sorry you got bit. I am not a fan either, but MN! Thank you for visiting, and we hope you were able to get your work done at your aunt’s estate. I know that can be quite a task! George & Beth

Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood on a “boutique” lake that connects to Chippewa National Forest. There is a public boat access and public beach at the campground, and lots of great fishing. Our yard is pretty flat, which makes it easy for children and elderly to access the water. We offer a canoe, two kayaks, and a paddle-boat, (free with signed liability waiver), to explore the lake.
