The ideal Rocky Mountain lodging in Red River, New Mexico! Make yourself at home in this huge creek side condominium. Enjoy the privacy this end unit has to offer and relax after a long day of skiing or hiking in one of two hot tubs.

The condo boasts a comfortable open floor plan with two decks to enjoy the cool. mountain air, or snuggle up next to the wood-burning fireplace on the sofa with plenty of firewood stocked right at your front door. The condo features a great kitchen stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. to prepare meals and a large open dining area, and a big laundry/mudroom with a full-size washer/dryer and plenty of room to store ski equipment and jackets.

Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom plus an additional half-bath on the main level. The queen bedroom features a balcony and cable t.v. The king bedroom is huge with a sitting area and a futon for 2 more guests. Washer/Dryer and 3 cable TVs to make the most of a relaxing weekend. Wow, this is the mountain life; this is Red River!

Our condo is a 1/4 mile from the Ski Lifts and offers guests a free ski shuttle that will drop you off slope side!

$75 per pet/2 housebroken pet max, charged separately by the property management company after booking. Renter must obey leash laws and pick up after pet(s), and will be held financially responsible for any damage to the unit.

Ski vacay

The condo was just as described and check in/out was easy! Not far from the slopes and it’s a great place to stay winter or summer.

Annual ski trip

Great place. Cooking pots/pans were not great but that is typical so we brought our own for what we planned to cook. Same with knives. All in all we had a great stay and this place is a great value.

Family vacation

Property was nice some of the windows can use screens it sleeps 4 comfortably the futon and sleeper sofa not comfortable air conditioning would be nice needs new non stick pans and rubber spatulas and a k cup coffee maker but overall great place great location

Red River Skiing

Convenient to ski slops. Clean, a bit outdated. Supplied wood was "green" and wouldn't burn.

The queen bed was terrible (old spring mattress from 70’s), pans need updating, windows need screens

I hate to complain, but for the amount of money the owners of this condo are charging it is important they know what needs to be fixed. Our bed (queen bed) was the worst old uncomfortable mattress we have ever slept on. We pulled out the sofa couch, to try and sleep on that which was even more uncomfortable. We had to take the mattress from the sofa bed upstairs and put it on top of the other mattress. Which then made sitting on the sofa which was already uncomfortable even more uncomfortable. We were not going to take the mattress back and forth or up and down stairs. I did try to text the owners from a text we received asking how our stay was going and heard nothing back. The shower in this bathroom was missing the shower head and was so painful! Thankfully we came across maintenance crew, which went out and bought a new one immediately. Most of the windows and doors did not have a screen to get airflow going through the condo. Which made the condo uncomfortably hot. There were a few free standing fans. Ceiling fans would be a better investment as the fans are a bit noisy. The pans definitely need to be updated. Because the spatula provided is metal it has scraped off most of the Teflon from the pans. I did let the management company know all of this at check out. She was very nice and apologetic assuring us she would let the owner of the condo know. The location was great, the layout of the condo worked well. Furniture is very important to making a stay comfortable and bringing people back. The hot tub was very nice, as our backs were sore from sleeping on the bed.

Great staff! Unit very dated!

The staff was top notch, friendly and accommodating. While unit 121 was comfortable and fit our needs. It appears to be very dark and dated. Fresh coat of paint, new floors and appliances were the highlight of unit. Appears to have been furnished with garage sales items. Again, this is NOT a negative review,, but simply an honest opinion. Overall,, our trip was fun and memorable and staff was awesome!

Red River vacation 2021

My family and I went to Red River NM for a little get away vacation and stayed at Valley Condos. It was a nice little condo and the property manager was very accommodating and every time I had questions before our trip she was quick to answer back. We had a great time. Would definitely stay again!!

Cute little condo, I don’t know if I would say waterfront condo, some of them were waterfront

Nice little condo, but the listing was not very accurate, and the pictures are very misleading, they say waterfront but it’s a ways from the water, and the bed was pretty hard and the pillows were very soft but it was a warm place to stay and we had fun, it can use a little bit of updating but overall a great time

Girls Trip

Was quiet. No dishwasher but we were not there very much besides the mornings. Pillows could be better! And maybe a little modernization. If you don’t want to be right in town it was a good location

Quiet Getaway

The property was almost perfect for our family of three. A few simple improvements could be made, however. The pillows were a little flat for our preference and the dishwasher was out of order. There was no hand soap in the kitchen or lav. We arrived late so check-in required an emergency phone call and the only grocery closed early so we did not have ice. Many of the restaurants were also closed. We enjoyed the hot tub and walks along the creek. The scenery was spectacular and we would return to Red Valley in a heartbeat!

Mostly enjoyable

The condo was well stocked, clean and fit our needs for our weekend ski trip. It’s a good distance from town and hot tub area was nice. Parking was crowded and this condo is located at the back corner of the complex so we had to walk our bags a little bit of a distance to the condo. The kitchen lights had the wrong light bulbs installed causing the lights to blink on and off, which was a little annoying. We could not use the fireplace because the flue would not stay open. Beds were a little stiff and pillows were also not very comfortable. Overall though, a cute and cozy condo with comfortable living space.

Perfect getaway

The property was immaculate. We were feeling cautious due to Covid-19. The property manager assured me it would be clean and ready and it was. Very easy to walk to town. Peaceful and relaxing.

A huge disappointment, on many fronts

We picked this property based on it being advertised as "sleeping 8" on VRBO. There is only one comfortable bed in the condo. There is a sign on the door which states, maximum occupancy 6. There were 8 thin, well used pillows and even after requesting additional bedding, we were only given 7. The carpets upstairs are covered in dog hair. They did not provide HAND SOAP for the downstairs bathroom. The dishsoap, which was provided had already been watered down and it was the very end of an old bottle. The owner clearly does not maintain the property. In comments from past guests, there are simple suggestions for things the owner could fix, which they have neglected to do. This includes a nail, which protrudces in the kitchen, which snagged a previous guest clothing- same thing happened to us. A request for an entry way rug, when you come in from snow- it is incredibly slippery on the fake wooden floor. The most disappointing thing has been that after checking out over a week ago, I still have not heard back from the management company about resolving our issues. The town of Red River is super cute, but I do not recommend using this rental!
