While we are happy to offer our home at a more affordable rate than at a hotel, there are some features we don't feature. Please bring your own personal care toiletries, condiments, oil + spices, ziplock bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, kitchen trash bags, coffee, and bottled water.

SECURITY:
We have a RING security camera located at the front door / deck and back deck stair areas that automatically record audio and video of the EXTERIOR of the property. These cameras will be turned on during your stay.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY
Base rates cover up to 17 guests, including children and day visitors. For any guests above the maximum capacity, you'll be charged $100/person/night.

PETS ALLOWED
Up to 2 non-aggressive breed dogs only. Pet fees are required for pet and emotional support dogs. If you would like to explore bringing your dog on your trip, be sure to contact us PRIOR to booking in order to learn about Mighty Vacay's pet policies and house rules. By booking, you affirm to accepting our pet policies and fees in the event you choose to bring your furbaby with you.

QUIET HOURS
Observe quiet hours outdoors from 10 P.M. CST to 8 A.M. CST

BEDS & SOFA BED
Do not jump on the beds or sofa bed. These furnishings will (and have) broken when guests have left their kids to jump and play on them. You will be charged to replace any damaged furniture that shows misuse.

THERMOSTATS
In order to maintain our HVAC system, thermostats can only be set to 67-79 degrees year round.

KEEP DOORS AND WINDOWS CLOSED
It is very critical that you keep all doors and windows closed during your stay. Due to the high humidity and constant use of air conditioning inside the home, leaving the doors and windows open will cause the HVAC system to freeze over and cause water damage to the walls, ceilings, and electronic door locks with condensation build-up. The HVAC system automatically turns off when windows/doors are left open.

PESTS
While the house is maintained monthly by a professional pest control service, you may still come across some local critters during your stay with us. If you see little mice under the house or off the sand, please do not be alarmed, it's completely normal. These are Alabama Beach Mouse and they are federally protected as a federally endangered species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Therefore, pest control CANNOT exterminate these creatures. Help minimize your exposure to these pests (and keep air conditioning inside) by keeping the kitchen, dining, and all outdoor areas clean from food debris and all external doors and windows closed at all times.

NO FISH CLEANING OUTDOORS
While fishing is a popular pastime for many of our guests, we do not allow any fish cleaning on the property, including the outdoor table. That table top is to be used for supporting grilling and outdoor dining uses only. The main reason we cannot allow fish cleaning on site is that it attracts Alabama Beach mice onto the property. These pests are federally protected as endangered species. So once they make it onto the property, we cannot exterminate them. No fish cleaning helps us stay pest free.

UTILITY DISRUPTIONS
Electricity and/or internet services may get interrupted during storms. Services usually resume in 1-2 hours.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
NO refunds will be given for cancelled bookings due to weather conditions. Please purchase travelers' insurance, as necessary.

SECURITY DEPOSIT + FEES
A refundable $500 security deposit is collected approximately 4 days prior to arrival to pay for any extraordinary cleaning, repairs, or damages caused by you and your guests during your stay. A non-refundable Resort Cost Recovery Fee of $55 per stay is also charged at booking.

EXTRA NOTES
* Signed rental agreement, full contact information, and a copy of government-issued ID required within 24 hours after booking to confirm reservation.
* IDs are required for everyone listed on your reservation, platform account, and/or payment source.
* Minimum age to book is 25. Person booking this home must be present during the entire stay. No third-party reservations allowed.
* Cancellation terms are stated in your signed renter's agreement. Cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative fee to process.
* While we try our best to update our listing on the listing management system regularly, sometimes an amenity and/or feature may be missing and/or represented incorrectly due to system errors. We are not responsible for anything that is not detailed in our description. Please inquire about any must-have amenities to confirm information before booking.
