Well kept property as advertised- great pool setup and walkable to the beach (you do have to cross the main street but it is usually not too busy). Hosts were very responsive and added nice touches throughout the house to make it more welcoming. We would definitely rent here again.

The house checks every box - and even if there is a small oversight or hiccup, the owners are right on top of it. The house has everything and the beds are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this home for anyone considering it.

We've been coming here for years now, and our family loves this place. This is our home away from home. Great care is taken to make sure our stay is stress free. 4th of July week stay

Accommodations and amenities were top notch. The family really enjoyed having a pool to themselves with the spacious and nicely furnished house. The extra amenities provide by the hosts were really appreciated.

Best family vacation

This was absolutely the best place we have ever stayed for a family vacation. There were so many things to do at the house but the pool was the highlight of our stay. The hosts were so attentive to every detail and went way above and beyond to ensure that my family and I had the best vacation ever. We all would definitely love to stay here again.

Vacation Rental Perfection

Whales Tale is hands down the best vacation rental I have ever booked. The house was absolute perfection. If you forgot something at home, it’s almost a certainty that the hosts would have you covered. Tom and Shelly were so responsive and easy to work with. They accommodated our early check in and allowed us to extend the reservation at a discounted rate. The location is ideal for every traveler, with numerous restaurants, bars and shops an easy walk, bike ride or drive away. Beach access is directly across the street, which could not be any more convenient. I would recommend Whales Tale to anyone looking for luxurious accommodations in a beautiful location.

Gorgeous Home, Great Location, Perfect Family Getaway Spot

We just got back from a week long stay at this incredible home! Not only was the home exactly as pictured, but the location and attention to details were by far the best of any rental home we’ve ever experienced. There were pool toys, beach toys, board games, a fully equipped kitchen, and en suite bathrooms for every room. We had four kids with us and the house could have easily accommodated a second family. The open spaces were clean and comfortable - we especially loved all the beach/whale knickknacks!! The rules were very clear and easy to follow and allow for a well maintained property. Thanks again for welcoming us so warmly to your beautiful home!!

The closest thing to a home on vacation

We have stayed in a lot of houses over the years on VRBO but this one was literately the best house we have ever stayed in. It’s almost like being spoiled, it felt like you were in your own house it had everything it was the perfect place to stay. The place was amazing, so were the people (the pool guy and of course the owners) the small businesses were great as well! Lovely choice of food and only a golf cart ride away.

amazing family vacation house

Clean, bright, beautifully appointed beach house. Absolutely the best equipped rental we’ve ever had, from beach equipment to toiletries. The charcuterie board, pizza gift certificate and top shelf coffee and tea station made us feel we were welcome and cared for. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating,. With a gorgeous patio, pool and hot tub in the rear, and the ocean just across the road, the location was excellent. We are grateful for our stay 
 you can’t do better!
