When it comes to rustic charm and wooded wonder, there is nothing better than Roger's Rock, a beautiful waterfront home in Hancock that is more than ready to assist in making the best memories with loved ones. Overlooking Egypt Bay, you will have the privacy and tranquility of the great outdoors. Start each day on a tasty note with a warm cup of coffee on the furnished deck as you look out to calm waters. Or, fire up the gas grill and host a cookout in the warm summer breeze. Inside, this getaway has high ceilings with beautiful large windows that allow an abundance of natural light to flood the main living area. Hop into the full kitchen and you will find all of the appliances and utensils needed to prepare tasty meals. Plus, you can end each dreamy day by gathering around the firepit until the stars come out. Don't wait too long, as this perfect home-away-from-home won't last long!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Comfortable home with a great view!

We had a wonderful tome at Rogers Rock. A little datedbut comfortable and a terrific view. Very private. Would stay again.

Comfort with a beautiful view!

We absolutely loved the privacy and location of this home for our base to discover elsewhere. Although a little outdated, the home was comfortable and had a wonderful view. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing spot with awesome views

We stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. The view of the bay is seriously amazing - just sitting out on the deck with coffee in the morning felt like a reset button. The house itself is super cozy and had everything we needed. It’s got that kind of quiet, lived-in charm, but still feels clean and updated where it counts (the kitchen and Wi-Fi were both solid). It was the perfect home base for day trips - easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but way less crowded. At night, we made a fire outside and just hung out under the stars, which was kind of perfect. Honestly, if you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable place that’s a bit off the beaten path, this place is a great pick. We’d totally stay again.

Tranquility on the water

It was so wonderful for our boys to be able to go right of the cabin and put their kayaks in the water and enjoy the peacefulness of the water. The setting was beautiful.

Great location and home

Very nice home, great view and location. Loved the coziness of the home. We had an issue when we arrived that never got resolved and it finally became very frustrating. The home was great and hopefully they fixed the problem.

Amazing time at Roger's Rock

My family stayed there this past weekend. Beautiful views, quiet, serene. All the things you want on vacation from regular life. The house was quaint and cozy.. Enjoyed the campfire too! Thank you so much!

Family Time Close To Family who lives in neighborhood.

When we first got there, it was a little bit of a shock because there was one chair where abouy10 pillows had been thrown and set of pink weights in the middle of the room. It was exceptionally hot as well. Once we got air into the home and moved the little weights, it was fine. We just left the pillows stacked because we didn’t use that chair. The beds were comfy and the kitchen served its purpose. We did expect there to be access from the house to the water and that was not the case. I think this should be better explained. But we made it work by finding the public access to put our kayaks. Vacasa was great to work with and very responsive.

Perfect vacation

We stayed with our two grandchildren. The location was quiet and peaceful . We loved walking down to the water, using the fire pit for making s’mores, and stargazing at night. The house was clean and comfortable. Not far from Acadia and Bar Harbor. The only thing we didn’t like was leaving! We wished we could have stayed all summer!! But we made wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great view. Old house.

House served its purpose but wouldn’t book it again because everything about it is old and dated. We did not realize there wasn’t a washer and dryer. That was our fault, but keep that in mind.

Amazing views!

Amazing views by day and starlite sky by night! Loved the campfire! Everything was clean and listing was accurate. A bit hard to find. Location was great for driving to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Private Property

Very peaceful and private location. Loved the clean windows and deck overlooking the waterfront view. We were tucked in a pine and mossy woods yet only 15 minutes from a major grocery store. This definitely outweighed the various negative points we experienced: When reserving the property, I failed to notice that there were no laundry amenities on the property and I had to make two trips to the laundromat. We had a disabled family member with us and we didn’t know about the entry involving a number of outdoor deck steps (that are rather slippery when wet). Although it has a fireplace in the listing, the posted house rules stated it was not to be used. The house was lacking in stocked paper products. It had four rolls of TP and a half roll of paper towels when we arrived. (But there was a nice supply of dry wood for the fire pit.) And perhaps a big factor, for some, the upstairs bedroom had no door for privacy, and was part of an open loft connected to the main living area.

Best Friends Getaway

Rogers Rock was everything we could have asked for. Very cozy and and clean and perfect for 4 adults. Beautiful views and close to all the parks and restaurants. I would highly recommend this home away from home. We would definitely come back.

More than expected!

Just book it! We went back and forth deciding on a last minute place to stay and this place was definitely the one to go with! It’s welcoming and cozy when you arrive after a long drive. The fireplace was lovely! It’s so spacious! The views of the lake and surrounding wooded area are jaw dropping and peaceful. It was just what our family needed! The house was stocked with everything you could need for cooking,etc. We did bring our own firewood bought on the way in. We saw seals swimming in the early morning and so many birds to see with the binoculars provided! Tons of games to play too! The rock ledge area was beautiful but do be careful as it can get slippery but don’t let that deter you it can still be enjoyed easily and you don’t have to go all the way out to the rocks to see the views. The moon was right above us and lit up the lake and the sunrise is so worth getting up to see! One of the most beautiful sights ever! Acadia Park was in reasonable driving distance and it was great to not be in the crowded parts of town. We were very close to the Schoodic Peninsula and went there first. It is worth it and was our favorite part of the park. It’s not crowded and has stunning views!

Beautiful Lake front home

The home was beautiful, it was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the mornings and the fabulous view. The home was spacious and comfortable. We had the opportunity to use the fire pit and have some excellent family time. We especially enjoyed the nearby restaurant Helen's the food and staff were amazing!

Nice quiet place in a beautiful setting

Great for all ages! The kids enjoyed hours of exploring the rocks and tidal pools. Great places for adults to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the deck or down on the rocks. And gathering around the fire pit after a day of hiking the trails in Acadia was wonderful! We recommend this home!

Lovely setting. Convenient location

The home had all needed amenities for our family. We found it to be clean and comfortable. One very hot night so bedroom ceiling fans would be a great addition in light of climate change.

Wonderful getaway

The house was perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk down to the water and look over the bay. Good location to amenities like a Walmart or home Depot. Drive to Acadia wasn't too long and we seemed to be just out of the tourist area for quiet.
